Fujikawaguchiko Onsen Konanso

Excellent staff, knowledgeable, helpful, courteous. Location was perfect to see Mount Fuji and it was situated close to surrounding attractions. The meals were excellent with much variety for any taste. Free shuttle services to train station.

Toilet tissue used in Japan is too flimsy and falls apart too easily.

The room was very spacious for our group. The dinner served was very good and beautiful to see how it was presented to us. The view of the lake from our room was amazing during both day and night time.

The outdoor onsen was a bit small if there are a lot of people.

Amazing service, kind staff, clean and beautiful lounge/room setup with a dreamlike view of Mt. Fuji from the rooftop foot bath and private room. The full course meal is luxurious, filled with thoughtful creativity from the chefs involved. Breakfast buffet was so fun, as was the public hot springs. Would love to revisit.

We ordered a 30 minute massage and the masseuse only massaged for 25 minutes, and insisted we pay by cash. After a couple tries of explaining we only had credit card, they seceded to having us pay at the front desk. Felt it was overall unprofessional and did not appreciate how we were cheated of a full session.

Everything about the property was amazing! Very clean and near transit! Perfect spot for our family! The staff were also very accommodating!

Treated like royalty the minute you enter the beautifully appointed lobby. From the crystal chandeliers that resemble Mount Fuji, the staircase that leads to the coffee and wine sitting area - which also includes a seated balcony, to the amazing room with a stunning view of Mount Fuji with a private Onsen offering a continuous flow of hot spring water. They had our exact size for slippers, socks, and two different attire to be worn around the hotel - including at breakfast. We also had a private dinner served Japanese style in our room. We will never forget the experience. The staff is truly amazing. They held our luggage after checkout while we continued to explore the area and shuttled us to catch our next adventure. If you can’t tell by now…I HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Great diner in Room, great service. Great location. Onsen.

Location is excellent, convenient free shuttle is offered, staff speak English and very polite. The room is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The dinner and breakfast are fantastic and memorable. The onsen experience and the Mt Fuji view are unmatchable. Highly recommend to get the onsen rooms with the Fuji view. Also love the private onsen experience (3300 yen).

Dinner was exceptional and different every night. Room had a nice view of the lake. The onsen was nice and not crowded.

Breakfast was OK but could be better with better choices. It was also the same each day.

Staff services is very good. I forgot the things at hotel and they brought to the bus station for return also advice for the visiting place as some place was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Onsen is perfect with spacious both indoor and outdoor with Fuji mountain view. Rooftop to take a photo with Fujisan with the foot onsen is also nice. Dinner is great very full and delicious.

I did the ryokan onsen with Mt Fuji view, and I could not have been happier!This was probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at and I am a frequent traveler . The staff is very accommodating, the room is clean, great amenities and the food is exceptional.I did the kaiseki dinner and breakfast! Totally worth it

The surprise, the view, location

Very great service. Room is new and clean. Convenient location, next to the ropeway and sightseeing bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Hotel offer shuttle to the Kawaguchiko station, can request at any time.

The in-room kaiseki dinners in the evening were exceptional, well balanced, and delicious. The room with a private onsen on the patio was comfortable with a perfect view of Mt. Fuji.
