    • Amazing view of Mount Fuji from roomVery good breakfast and dinner buffet at reasonable priceRoom layout, separate seating area
    • We hade amazing view for fuji mountain from the room, the hotel is really beautiful and really big rooms with balcony.
    • I chose this hotel for its view across Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt. Fuji, and it did not disappoint! Waking up to that view was truly special. The room was spacious and very clean. It had two single beds and a sofa bed where my 10-year-old slept comfortably. The hotel also provided an extra pillow and blanket. The hotel restaurant also offers a stunning view of Mt. Fuji, making meals even more enjoyable. There’s a free shuttle to Kawaguchiko Station until 10 AM, which was very helpful since local buses only start around 9 AM.

    Cons -

    • Room was very stuffy even during this peak winter, slept with windows openTV was outdated with no option to connect to OTTs
    • Just for awareness & NOT "Didn't like"Buses from Kawaguchiko Station stop running around 6 PM, so plan your day accordingly. The hotel offers buffet-style dinner and breakfast, which is convenient, but if you're looking for cheaper options (or even bottled water), it’s better to buy them before taking the bus from Kawaguchiko station to the hotel. The nearest convenience store is about a 20–25 minute walk away.
    • Slightly dated room

Good location. Good view. Good staff and big room definitely.

    Parking no rooftop.

Hotel is too old, need to upgrade. No fan, no aircon. Very insecure if open door as next door customer can very easily climb over to your balcony. Sound proof no good, can easily heard people talking.

Views from the rooms are super amazing and the hot spring is relaxing. The rooms is comfortable.

    Food can be much better.

    Good view of MT Fuji

Staff not very pleasantDenied breakfast at 8am as already closed despite clearly stating opening hours were until 9am

The location was superb, that was the only positive aspect.

I had high expectations for this hotel, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to poor service of the front desk staff and unclean facilities . From the moment I arrived, the staff was not welcoming and unhelpful it seems disinterested and unfriendly. When I had questions or needed assistance. I was met with rude responses and dismissive attitudes. Instead of making me feel welcome, they made the stay frustrating and unpleasant.

We stayed at the end of January, and Mt. Fuji was absolutely majestic and breathtaking. I highly recommend booking a room with a Mt. Fuji view—the skies were clear, offering a stunning scenery. The weather was cold but comfortable, making it the perfect time to enjoy the view.

The buffet breakfast was disappointing—there weren’t many options, and it’s only served until 9 AM. We didn’t have much of a choice but to eat here, as other restaurants are a bit of a walk from the hotel.

    Will not be coming back

Hotel room was not clean. When lifting the blankets, there were so much dust and smelt like it has not been cleaned in a very long time. Literally slept on the sofa

Amazing location with views of lake and mt Fuji in one. The outdoor onsen was spectacular. Buffet food selection was good.

    9AshleyPosted on: 1-12-2025

Beautiful hotel and wonderful view to see Mt.Fuji! The staff was friendly and the buffet was great. I also loved that there was a shuttle bus pick up and drop off service to and from the station. The morning view of Mt. Fuji was amazing!

The view to see Mt.Fuji from the onsen wasn't what I expected, but it was still a beautiful hotel and a lovely stay!

Amazing view of Mt Fuji and spacious room. The staff was helpful.

The bathroom, shower area is a bit old and not very spacious. It had always a strong food odor which is a bit disgusting.

    6ChristianPosted on: 12-20-2024

The view is spectacular. The location is right on the water, so you get an unobstructed view of Fuji, assuming the weather is good. The view is literally unbeatable (except for the 2-4 hotels right next to it. The onsen is decent, and has a similarly very nice view of Fuji so you can relax with an unforgettable view. The rooms are "western style" and are much larger than most would be in the rest of Japan.

The hotel feels like a holdover of a once great hotel from the 1980's or 1990's, the staff all wear suits and bowties, but they use paper calendars and paper check in sheets. The furniture in the lobby is as ancient, and needs repairs. The proximity to the road means there's road noise if you leave your window open. The bedding is nice-ish, but it feels like the maids use a fitted sheet to cover the duvets instead of a real duvet cover. So if you toss and turn like I do, the duvet gets out of the cover easily.
