    Pros +

    • Clean. Hotel employee was great. The view of Fuji in the morning. The staff. Great place.
    • Staff is relatively friendly. Vending downstairs and staff will give change for bills. Decent location near Lawson and bridge to view Fuji.
    • Open air bath (one of the sides) was lovely, the bath at 5th floor with Fuji view actually offers no view as the windows were fogged. Wine tasting machine is very convenient, although the price is high. Welcome drink is nice. Shuttle bus to train station is useful as the hotel located far from it.

    Cons -

    • The cheaper room was very misleading. It was more of a bait and switch. They Want you to move up in price. Once we got into the room, it was so small. The room never got dark, curtains didn't even block the moon. Extremely noisy. Didn't sleep at all.
    • Place felt dirty and gross. Air conditioner smelled like pee. Bedsheet was too small for bed. Killed two bugs in the bathroom. The washing machines dont dry clothes well, had to run 6 drying cycles for one load of clothes. The pictures of the rooms online were nice, but in person the rooms look like a janky motel. Definitely not worth the price paid.
    • That was the most expensive hotel during my stay in Japan, but the experience was not the best, as well as memories. If some hotels you don't want to leave, here I tried to minimize staying in the room - it was dated and felt untidy, the ventilation is very noizy - I had to turn it off. The place on the wall where suppose to be picture or smth was empty, but hooks where still there. I booked a hotel with a view - but as I understand there are 2 high floors - at the 4th the view of Mt.Fuji was crossed with electric pole, cabels and parking lot. Maybe at the 5th is better. Staff behavior was a bit strange, not really welcoming. Breakfast - diverse, but not delicious. Location is not convenient (you need to use the bus to get anywhere).

The service was outstanding, and everything was spotless. Breakfast was excellent, and the facilities were well-maintained. The stunning view of Mount Fuji alone makes the stay worthwhile. The location is also very convenient.

The price is on the higher side, and if you forget to book dinner in advance (like we did), dining options nearby at night are quite limited. Don't forget to book dinner in advance!

Staff were very helpful and went out of their way to assist with my luggage shipment. The onsen facilities were large and clean. We also enjoyed the free donuts and beverages in the lobby area.

The bathroom in our room smelled a little funny, so we left the ventilation fan on most of the time.

The breakfast is ok, especially the curry rice is tasty.

The bathroom is exceptionally small, in fact the entire room is smaller than usual hotel. Only the public area is comfortable. Wine tasting machine is nice. Open air bath is not worth trying.

The decor, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere were amazing. The staff were welcoming and the amenities were top-tier. Both the indoor and outdoor onsens were incredibly relaxing, and my room had a stunning view of Mount Fuji. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. Everything exceeded my expectations.

About a 15 minute walk from the station. Beautiful view of mount fuji from my room. Staff was very helpful during the luggage transfer process.

    Terrible. Very expensive

The section we were in which was the annexed building had a horrendous old person/urine smell. The so called onsen water had chlorine in it which we were not informed and caused an allergic reaction. Was so bad we actually left after the first night even knowing we had spent 1500 for the next night as well which was non refundable.

    10LydiaPosted on: 4-29-2025

The room and view of Fuji was honestly out of this world. Were were so lucky to have clear amazing view of fuji from our private bath and room on our stay. Sadly fuji is shy so she was hiding when we woke up. We only had a 1 night stay I wish it was longer. Great location for exploring the area and the view if fuji is worth it!

    7JaydePosted on: 4-24-2025

Great location and Mount Fuji views were amazing!

The beds are very uncomfortable, extremely expensive for what you get.

    9TonyPosted on: 4-23-2025

We booked a traditional Japanese room with Fuji view. The traditional room was clean, comfortable and a lot of fun to experience. Mt Fuji appeared in our window on our first morning and was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful in arranging taxis and dinner reservations. Other than the traditional room, the hotel seemed a bit basic, but the Mt Fuji view and wonderful staff made it a wonderful experience.

Traditional futon was a little firm at first, but figured out how to make it more comfortable. Not many dining options in the immediate area, but some within walkable distance and many more a short cab ride away.

    10MonikaPosted on: 4-9-2025

Beautiful view of Fuji from a hot jacuzzi! This will always stay with me in my memories! Great experience ! Traditional , cosy hotel! Excellent location!

Lovely onsens and lobby. Good views of mt Fuji when it is out. Bike rental across the street.

    10WeiEn B.Posted on: 1-17-2025

As described, very spacious and luxurious. Room was well cleaned, well maintained (dated interior, but it is ok), and facilities such as private onsen pool were in working order. Lastly, the fantastic view of Mt Fuji was worth it and an experience by itself.

Perhaps the cost, but you pay what you get

    10MarcusPosted on: 1-13-2025

The hospitality of the staff is good. Staff is very polite, observant, and responsive to our needs. Our room has a perfect view of Mt Fuji, which is very pleasant to look at once we wake up, enjoying a nice cup of tea. Both private and public onsens are available. Outdoor public onsen might be a bit too hot for some. Welcoming bar includes snacks that are locally produced, which are also sold in the souvenir corner.

    9EmilyPosted on: 12-25-2024

The onsen is not crowded at all. Both times I went, I was the only one there. The breakfast spread is good, very kid friendly. The spacious room gives us an option of either sleeping on bed or futon. Can see Mount Fuji directly from room. Bath room is fantastic. Can soak in there with open windows. Pick up and send upon check in and out.

The breakfast spread is the same on both mornings. There are 2 wires right in front of our room view that didn't give a full solo pic of Mount Fuji.

Beautiful onsen, both the upper and the lower one. We liked it very much!Room was small and kind of outdated, but it was not bad for a short stay. It didn't have any nice views but at least it had a window.Staff is very attentive and nice.It is far from the station, but one can easily walk anywhere from there and reach some restaurants and supermarket in 10-15min.

Hotel, room and location were great. Room was a nice size and quiet. Bathroom was great with tolietries provided. Free goodies in the library were nice.

Staff not very helpful. English not well understood. Restaurant was never available. Supposedly we chose the econo package but having no room service for 4 days was not great.

Amazing romantic view of Mt Fuji, plenty of space, very comfortable with friendly staff

Price point on the high side but understandably it was a exceptional room.
