Dormy Inn Mishima

The location was great, only a few minutes walk from Mishima station. The room was nice and comfortable. The best part was the breakfast, varied and plentiful. The view of Mt. Fuji and the natural hot springs are an added bonus.

You can hear the trains running sometimes because we were close to the station tracks. But other than that, it was great.

Great little hotel! Short walk to Shinkansen train, JR Line and bus station to see the Mishima Skywalk. Nice staff. Comfortable room with the usual many amenities associated w/Japanese hotels. Free coffee in the lobby, free ice cream on the 12th floor. Many restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Didn't use it, but there is a 'Hot Spring Bath' on the 12th floor as well, looked relaxing.

Location and general cleanliness

Not a very comfortable bed, pillow.

This location was chosen for its proximity to Mt Fuji. We arrived by Shinkansen and hired a car to drive around the lakes district in the hope of good views. We were not disappointed. There was even a view of Mt Fuji from our room the first morning! The hotel was adequate, but not exceptional. I felt it was overpriced compared to other accommodation across Japan. The staff were very helpful organising the transport of our luggage to our next destination. Found some decent restaurants - a mix of international foods including Chinese, Korean, Italian. We stuck to Japanese restaurants which were great.

The downside was the train noise all night. Shinkansen and other trains just across the road from this hotel. Not so bad if you are not a light sleeper. The room was not as spotless as other hotels we had been in across Japan. There were cobwebs on the walls, and the curtains felt dusty.

Close to the train station. Clean, efficient check in.

The room was small, but we are only in for one night so it’s perfect.

Space was good and clean rooms. Staff was friendly.

The hotel is very nice, the onsen Is fantastic, and the provided "relax clothes* were appreciated.The hotel is close to the station so you have dining options around, plus they provide a complimentary ramen in the evening.Not all staff spoke English but they were very helpful anyway and tried to bridge the gap even when our Japanese failed.

Hotel is very convenient. Very close to the Mishima South Station. I like that it comes with onsen and unlimited free ramen from 9:30pm to 11pm every night. Breakfast is amazing too!

I loved the massage chair ! The breakfast was nice. The small drink and icy pole after the bath was nice treat ?

Couldn’t see the Mount Fuji from the female bath on the top every time. They should change the male and female bath every day for equal view. It would be nicer if they have latte and cappuccino on the coffee machine.

Great facilities. As someone from Australia who has never experienced Onsen and thought I would be too nervous but egged on by my 12 yr old daughter we plucked up the courage and went and experienced it. This coupled with the massage chairs and free ice blocks were a great way of spending an evening between our Mt Fuji adventure and catching the Shinkansen back to Tokyo the next morning. The staff were great and ordered a taxi for us to get to an Easter Sunday Mass at the local Catholic Church when I was unable to get one with the Didi appConvenient to the station .

Mishima Dormy Inn was a great stay. The location is convenient, the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the onsen had a relaxing atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, making it easy to rest after a long day.

Unexpected hot spring with views of Fuji, free ramen, free icecream, comical complementary loungewear (hotel dining room looked like squid games) and all for a super reasonable price.

Nothing to complain about.

No gym

Staff were nice. They have the best toothbrush among all Japan hotels. The bonus was free Ramen at night. Although it's just plain Ramen, it's a warm gesture to customers. There were free popsicle at the onsen on the top floor too.

Great location, very convenient for the train station. Stunning views of Mount Fuji from our room. The views from the Onsen on the top floor were e en more stunning. Room was clean and comfortable temperature, if slightly on the small size.

Rooms were slightly dated compared to other hotels we used and quite noisy from adjacent railway line

Close to the station & hire car pick up. Good size room. Lots of complimentary goodies and free laundry facilities.
