Hotel Route-Inn Shinfujieki Minami

The hotel is good by itself, but a bit of inconvenient if you want to travel to Fuji mountain, unless you have a rental car or your own car. The city is a bit polluted with industry. The sea shore not far from the hotel is great, a must see.

Pollution produced by factories. Need to explore more for transportation into the mountains (toward mountain Fuji).

Location is good it's you come with a car. It was nice that the room was big enough for a smaller sofa. And the big bath was appreciated. We liked the breakfast buffet as well.

i was not informed of the shuttle bus and its schedule and had to take taxi from time to time.

Close to the station, restaurant on site. We had a very brief stop, arrived in the evening, left early morning. Good view of Mount Fuji from our room. Advised all taxis for the next morning already booked.

The bed was a little too hard for me

Hotel seems to be built recently. They had easily accessible coin laundry with wash+dry function which was a savior for us. We got a room with a view to Mt. Fuji and even though it was really cloudy, we got a 10 minute window where we could spot the peak through the clouds.

The only downside was that the shower was quite short and I was basically touching the ceiling with my head (I am 183cm tall). Although that's pretty much hit or miss with hotels in Japan so just mentioning for anyone who is taller.

Close to Shin-Fuji station and a nice public bath to relax after climbing Mt. Fuji.

There is nothing to do around there. All points of interest are far.

Good breakfast, good for Shinkansen connection, and plenty of parking space

The location is close to Shin-Fuji Station, and there are plenty of parking spaces for the guests. We booked the room with Mt. Fuji view, luckily the weather was sunny and we could see Mt. Fuji through the room. Room rate was reasonable and room size was bigger than expected, breakfast was simple but good.

New, clean and comfortable. Practical and functional room.

Although it is next to national road, it’s very convenient, but need to make a loop if you come from the other side of the road.

Seeing Mt fuji from our room was AMAZING! And food was great, highly recommend this hotel!

No shuttle bus to Fuji station (only Shin Fuji is available) which is ~30 mins walk from the hotel and 16 mins by bus next to shin fuji station but only comes every 1 hr.

I stayed here for visiting Fuji-san it had a beautifule cute window through which fuji san can be seen from the room

Google maps showed me wrong directions - just walk along the highway from shin fuji station past the 7-11

Stay away from the road side.

Staff were very accommodating and had at least one member available with English skills. Breakfast was great too.

Rooms smelled very strong of smoke.

Amazing value for money, including buffet breakfast, shared bathhouse, early arrival luggage storage, and shuttle buses to and from Shin-Fuji station. Customer service was also excellent.

Bidet was not well adjusted (a little bit of splash), otherwise perfect.

Shame about smoking corner on non smoking floors. But they changed to a non-smoking floor without smoking corner

Very close to the Shinkansen station Shin-Fuji (free shuttle available), great value for money, view of Mt. Fuji is amazing, free Onsen for guests.
