Nothing not to like

The food was awesome! Parkhotel location is a wonderful, calm, and cute place. We enjoyed walking with the dog! A huge plus is that we can stay with our family dog! Sayna, swimming pool were included in the price. There are several different saunas and I was very pleased that the women's Finnish sauna is separate from the men!!

The pilow was VERY uncomfortable. For a hotel of this level, it would be good to replace the pillows with better ones.

Classy interior, well equipped and good location

Staff attitude, not all of them. At checkout, they tell you how much you need to pay without printing out the bill to get you check it (common manner of respect), and ignore when you tell them your request. When you remind, the staff curses in Czech language intuitively and handles it as she’s bothered. I don’t think this is okay for holiday destination where its revenue depends on international customers mostly.

I recently stayed at Richmond Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a beautiful park, surrounded by nature, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Our room for three was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view from the balcony.The staff were friendly and always willing to help. Special thanks to a kind staff member who assisted us with our meals due to health conditions – her help was greatly appreciated. The food was diverse and delicious, and we also enjoyed the well-maintained swimming pool.Overall, Richmond is a perfect choice for anyone seeking a tranquil retreat with great service and amenities. Highly recommended!

I liked everything!

A quiet, comfortable room. Very clean. Reception staff were helpful.

My stay would have been even better if the main lights in the dining room had not been switched off at 19.31 precisely. I know dinner finished at 19.30 but this was rather unexpected and unnecessary. There were net curtains and venetian blinds in the bedroom window, but during summer months a pair of proper curtains would help. Otherwise a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

We got a lovely, big room with incredibly comfortable beds. The pool area is very clean and pleasant. The staff were all kind and attentive. Breakfast was enormous with a lot of variation. The hotel is situated near but still a little away from the crowds, in a beautiful park. We loved the hotel and actually added an extra night to our stay.

We ordered dinner the first night and sat outside on the lovely terrace. However, although not bad, the food was not very tasty.

Very good location on the park near the forest. 10-15 min walk from the old city center.Stuff is very polite. Breakfast is good enough. The rooms are specious with high ceilings.

The amenities in bathroom could be better. No body lotion and hair conditioner.Dinner didn’t have a lot of options

I really enjoyed the beautiful spa. It was opened nearly all day with a variety of activities. Also, the room was very spacious and a great choice of breakfast.

Parking is available for a surcharge. However, we were parking on a pavement. Some of the employees don't understand a Czech. The hotel is located a little bit further from the city centre.

The breakfast is buffet. The wellness it's fine when it's not full of people. Its a good hotel to spend a weekend. More than two night it could be boring.

If you don't have the lunch buffet or dinner buffet and you want to order in the restaurant, the menu have only some food options.

We got a room below where they delivered all for the hotel…. So at 6am lorries were going on and off.. not so nice ….

Location - nice daily promenade to the town.Except-able level of Spa treatments.

- Single bad is very narrow.- Food in the restaurant are very primitive and done without soul. You eat- just don’t be hungry.Take a cook from some city restaurants!- Low quality of shampoo in the bathroom and shower, in the most places it is just liquid soap instead of shampoo and shower gel.- Staff, most in restaurant and reception - need a lot of training! Make remarks to guests, dictate terms, do not fulfill requests on time. Total amateur!The staff destroyed the atmosphere of the property.Territory around property need attention.

Enormous bedrooms, good swimming pool and welness, within 15-30 min walking from everything in the center

The mineral pool was closed and this was where we came for, to enjoy a real spa.

The hotel and facilities of hotel are great, everything what you expect from vacation (including treatments & procedures). The location is ok, it is on the "edge" of the centre of town but it gives you more quiet area (not too many tourists as it is in centre), it is close to park, very nice for walks. It is still close to everything what you would like to visit as tourist.

I had a bit of problem with wifi which was resolved quite quickly.

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

The buffet style dinner was a little underwhelming.

Breakfast was very tasty, especially the cappuccino. The location of the hotel is fabulous. Special thanks to Petra for arranging the fruit plate and sparkling wine.

The pool with the mineral water wasn't working. I booked this stay as a birthday present for my mother. So it was a total surprise for my parents and of course they didn't know all the financial details and nuances at Parkhotel Richmond... Me neither... Can you imagine their disappointment and frustration when they heard from the receptionist that they had to pay the half of the price at the end of their stay?I believe that no matter what situation the customers are in, they deserve proper customer service and respect. My parents were treated as if they were teenagers...We were not informed at the beginning of the stay that the price would be split into two parts. If I knew that, I would have solved it immediately and my mother wouldn't have gone through all the unnecessary stress.Plus, it's a birthday present. It is logical that whoever books the stay at the hotel pays the entire amount. This lack of communication and poor customer service cancelled all the positive experience while staying in the beautiful city of Karlovy Vary.

Great balcony attached to our room and it was relatively dog friendly (they would not provide a proper water bowl so we had to make do with a saucer). The food in the cafe was good and the restaurant staff were nice.

The Spa facilities were underwhelming and unfortunately some parents allow their kids to treat the pool and jacuzzi like a splash pool (even bringing pool noodles). Our room had a musty smell coming from the bathroom and we could hear a lot of noise from 6am onwards (running and screaming kids kept us awake).

The location of the hotel is insanely good. There is a park surrounding it and it's very calming. The hotel is within walking distance of the city centre and the pedestrian zone. Everything was really great!

This isn't a comment of the hotel, but more of the city. It was hard to find markets, so we got supplies on the gas station. I have no negative things to say about the hotel!

This was my second stay and it was really great again. Amazing wellness area, great location, spotless room, nice staff. Will definitely come back.

I’d appreciate more food options for vegans at breakfast (at least more fruit and veggies). I didn’t make any special request though, so it might be worth a try.
