Spa Hotel Schlosspark

Very beautiful hotel, amazing food, staff is above all of the expectations gorgeous view!!!

A wonderful town and very well placed hotel although a little difficult to get to due to it being so central. Parking was also a little tricky, however, we managed with the friendly help from the staff who directed us to the car park about 10 mins walk away.

Comfortable bed and room, decent amount of space, they gave you bathrobes and slippers. Our room had a little balcony with one chair and table. Good AC. Very good breakfast with hot and cold items, eggs, sausages, beans, oatmeal, mini waffles and pancakes, yogurt and cereals, various good bread and pastries, fruit. Easy 5 min walk downhill to the main part of town. Good parking lot up the hill and around the corner for 13 euros a night. Nice lady at the front desk with minimal English but good enough.

The shower was extremely small, the bathroom was large so they could have installed a much larger shower, instead the smallest possible, as a 5’6, 125 lb woman I had a hard time, never mind bending over. The pillows are big and square and take up a lot of space on the bed. There are a few stairs both up to the front door and to get up to the level with an elevator for the rest.

The location is superb! Breakfast also nice! There is even a small playroom for small kid and a piano for someone who got talent.

There were so many customers during check in but only one lady works so hard! So it's a super slow check in.

Our stay at Hotel Schlosspark was wonderful, and exceeded our expecations. The hotel was very well decorated, in the 'traditional' style but with new carpets and furnishings. It is located right off the main centre of the town, a short walk to restaurants and cafes (and the famous thermal spas). We booked an economy room, which was bigger than expected, with a very spacious and warm bathroom (with great water pressure) as well as a dressing area. The beds were comfortable and clean -- though 'Queen' actually translates to two twins pushed together, which is common in this part of Europe. The spa was open from 15 - 22, with a nice sauna, swimming pool, and rest area -- super relaxing. Finally, the breakfast was first-class, with eggs, sausage, vegetables, traditional pancakes/waffles, and fresh bread, coffee was also very tasty. We enjoyed looking at the view over Karlovy Vary from the breakfast room, and the staff were most helpful.

No complaints -- be aware the check-out is 10:00 sharp, which is slightly early, considering this is also when the breakfast finishes.

Good facilities, breakfast was good with great variety.

Some things could be renewed in the room.

The room was comfy, nice buffet brekfast and nice spa.

It was our second visit at this hotel, but this one does not reach the level of the first one. This time most of the hotel employees were not speaking English.We reserved the room for 4 persons (adults) some monthes before, than announced the hotel well in advance ( inside the changing interval) that we will be only 3 persons (adults) however we had to pay for 4 persons (inclusive the dinner) and got a room with only 3 beds and only 3 dinners. We exlpained the receptionists but they were pretending not to understand the problem. Very, very disapointing!In our room the bathroom needs updates, especialy the shower.

On July 19, 2024, my spouse and I checked into your hotel. First and foremost, I must say that the hotel looks nothing like the pictures. We felt deceived. During the check-in process, the woman working at the reception (who handled our check-in and communicated between us and the hotel manager) was very rude to us. She was not hospitable. Moreover, on July 29, we saw her leaving our room. When we asked her why she entered our room, she approached us with a mocking, arrogant attitude. After checking out of the hotel, I returned to Turkey and discovered that my money was stolen. We had $1100 and €1200 stolen. If we cannot resolve this issue with your hotel, I will file a complaint. I will take this matter to the prosecutor.---

The double bed had a gap in the middle.

The location is good; you can go anywhere on foot in this small town.The swimming pool is small but good since people seldom use it.The room is quite big.

Wellness was included, which was quite unusual and pleasant for us. We were settled earlier, without any problems.

We were supposed to have a superior room (with a free upgrade from standard) , but I am not quite sure what we really got it. The fee for a tea in the room also obscured us a little bit.

It is right in the center of the old city. If you want to go out at night, you have to walk at least 20 min or take a taxi. The room was big and comfy, but, we booked 2 rooms with double beds and the beds were 2 single ones to each room. We asked the receptionist about it and she told us that they don't have any double beds in the hotel. She informed the staff and they came and put a buffer between the beds. It was Okey -ish but not what we expected.

Location is good.The room is acceptable.

Kommunication is very difficult,due to language problems.Most personal do only speak Russian ,the local language and very little English or GermanThe "Halbpension" is not worth having.The food is sub standard.

My wife's eye sight isn't great. A couple of times she didn't see stairs that were ccovered with the same dark carpet as the hallway floor and nearly fell. A stripe in a brighter colour or a metal strip at the top and bottom of the stairs would help to alert people with poor eye sight, whose vision is not so bad that they would qualify to use a cane. It's not the Hotels faulr. We come across this problem alot

We arrived earlier than announced check in time for a one night stay, we thought we could at least use the spa and some of the offered services such as massage that was not posdible before getting the room...they did not accept booking for the next morning...
