Hostel Wenuy-

Pros +

• Really friendly and helpful staff. They kept the communal areas and bathrooms clean throughout the day. They offered help with hiking and biking routes even despite the language barrier. Comfy beds.
• Conveniently located near a bus terminal and shops. About 1 km from the Laguna Torre trailhead. Clean hostel with a well-equipped shared kitchen. Strong, reliable Wi-Fi. The hostel is consistently well-maintained.

Cons -

• Stuffy rooms and loads of flys in the kitchen. The seating area could do with a few more sofas/comfy seats or a different layout to accommodate more comfy chairs as it quickly got full and if you weren't eating then it was a hard wooden chair to relax on. We were also told halfway through the trip we'd be moving upstairs to a new room to accommodate a tour group that wanted to be together. We were sat in the hostel all day but were only notified in the evening before bed. This inconvenienced us greatly as we needed to move all of our belongings the next day and meant we had to wake up even earlier for our fitz roy hike just to move our gear whilst trying to keep to our schedule for the hike. If we book a hostel bed I expect to not have to change last minute and gather my things in the early morning.
• Not all staff members speak English, but those who do can offer advice on trekking. With others, you'll need to use a translator. The beds could be more sturdy; theyre a bit challenging to climb into. No tea or coffee facilities, and no complimentary breakfast provided.
