Bamboo Surf Beach

My girlfriend and I had an exceptional time at Bamboo Surf Beach Resort. The owner and the entire staff were so welcoming and accommodating throughout our entire stay. The food at their restaurant was delicious as well. We can't wait to come back!

Bamboo surf is an excellent place for surfers and beachgoers. The rooms are very clean and they provide everything you need toiletries wise and the location is phenomenal & the food at the bar is so good it had me coming back every day. Thank you Marcel & thanks to everyone at Bamboo surf. I will be coming back very soon.

the beds were hard, so many insects inside the room, their body wash, shampoo and conditioner were not the best but this didn't bother me as i bought another option at the groceryEDITED:Thank you for your Broadway-level response. I didn’t realize that giving anything less than a sacred 10/10 rating would send the entire VVVIP empire into meltdown mode. The theatrics are impressive, I almost forgot this was about a hard bed and a few insects, not the fall of civilization.Just to be clear:• I didn’t expect your Paris-imported toiletries to change my life. Like I said it didn't bother me. I simply bought my own.• I also didn’t expect sealed snacks to be blamed for insects but the plot twist was entertaining.• And mattress toppers only help if they’re offered during the stay, not after the dramatic monologue.As a constructive reviewer, I hope future management sees these comments as an opportunity to improve the hotel for guests rather than a trigger for public theatrics. Since my “elf-like” self managed to survive both the mattress and the insects, I’ll leave it here and let future guests enjoy your Paris-imported toiletries and dramatic flair.Best of luck with your VVVIP dramatic universe.PS for future guests: Only leave a 10/10. This place is in a perfect location just a short walk from the beach and the surf spot.They have a great pool that's perfect for a refreshing dip and relaxing any time of day.The rooms are comfortable and well-suited for couples or friends traveling together! We will return back!

In the front cabin there is no toilet door in the room.

Loved this little spot! The pool was so relaxing with beds in the pool, perfect for reading while cooling off. You’re right on the beach by one of the surf spots, perfect for walking into the surf. The room had coffee & tea, much needed pre sunrise surf. The staff were so friendly & helpful too, including the owner. They arranged a tuk tuk transfer and scooter for me. Would def come back here & try one of the beach front cottages next time…if they’re available.

Bamboo Surf Beach Resort was absolutely amazing. The location couldn’t be better — right on the ocean with easy surf access and free parking. There are third-party board rentals right out front, and the break here is one of the best on the island for beginner to intermediate surfers.The restaurant was great — big portions, tasty food, and very fair prices. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the owners were welcoming and flexible. The pool was clean, the beach area and umbrellas were perfect for relaxing, and everything was well maintained. Our room was spacious with a huge bathroom, and the AC worked great.Overall, it’s an incredible value for what you get. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was fabulous. The Beachfront cottage was perfect. Loved that the room had a fridge and tea/coffee and refillable water jugs. Some really thoughtful items in the room included toiletries, hairdryer, thongs, umbrella and full length mirror. The private courtyard that comes with the Beachfront cottage had hammocks and beach chairs. The view was incredible.

The shower settings, bathroom sink and bathroom mirror are designed for tall people (I'm 5ft and it was all a bit too high for me). Not a big deal though.

The room was very cozy and spacious. The owner accomodated us and made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend this place. ?

Location, location, location! A little piece of heaven in paradise. Amazing clean villas, immaculate pool, easy beach access, onsite restaurant, and staff that are the sweetest! A must if staying in Paradiso.

I loved everything

The location is unbeatable, you open your eyes and can check out the surf from your bed! It's just a few steps away from the break.Everyone is super nice & the owner even gifted me an oil for my injured arm when he heard about it. Very thoughtful.Wifi works perfectly, so we could work a bit from there too.Overall a perfect stay, will def come again! ?‍♀️?

The room was spacious and very comfortable, the pool is stunning, the food is delicious, the staff is amazing... and it's so close to the beach. I also loved the location, which feels more remote than General Luna (the best is to rent a scooter there). Highly recommend this place, I myself can't wait to be back!

Amazing location! Close to the surf great villas, friendly staff that helped with scooter rental/airport transfers and surflessons. Big plus you can use long board for free! Cctv available so safe place.

Personally i had the worst sleep here with super firm mattress and if you are tall you hit the back of the bed but if you dont mind that its no problem. Lots of cleaning around premises but beach rubbish cleaning is also needed many plastics float onto the beach we always took a bag to clean up ourselves but maybe staff can put some environment clean in too. Restaurant was little disappointing we preferred all other places around . Extra beach chairs on the beach would be nice they were great but not enough for all guests. Pool a bit too chemical but I guess thats everywhere around, beach is only few steps away so lovely! Would be nice if there was a safe in the room but we got broken into our last villa ( secret pool villa -general luna) so bit on high alert but cctv everywhere and it felt safe at this accommodation

The location was absolutely perfect! I came to learn how to surf, and Pacifico Beach was right in front. Waking up every day to the view of the sea and garden was amazing—I couldn’t have been happier. The Bamboo crew was incredibly polite, accommodating and helpful. A big thank you to Georg and the entire Bamboo crew—God bless you all!

The internet was sometimes down when it rained, but that wasn’t a big issue. I was still able to get work done. If you’re heading to Siargao, I’d recommend unplugging from the world and connecting more with nature. ?

This place is pure paradise. From the moment I arrived, the ocean views, elegant rooms, and impeccable service made it unforgettable. I can’t wait to come back.

The ocean front cottages are basically on the beach and at night the only sound is the crashing of waves. If you are new to surfing the break right out front if the resort is perfect for beginners and there are more advanced areas within an hour that the locals can take you to. At night you can see the stars so clear as the is very little light pollution to ruin your star gazing. The next door resort does have one light that should have a shade/ shield to keep from flooding the area with light. It's not horrible but it does distract at night.The staff is friendly and always available during business hours, 7am to 7pm. The grounds are very well kept and there are beach chairs and umbrellas to use. Overall we loved this resort and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet town and beach.

The resort next door has a light that floods the beach area at night. The need to put a cover/ shade on it.

The bamboo surf house was great for my needs and my budget. As a solo traveller safety, general comfort, and cost are top of mind. The staff here was friendly and the owners take time to get to know the guests. They are so helpul in suggesting things to do and places to get supplies nearby. I stayed here during the island-wide electrical outage. This was one of the few accommodations in northern Siargao that had a generator- run during optimal hours throughout the day. This was crucial for charging up phones and other devices. The staff was also helpful in sharing tips to navigate challenges during the electrical outage. I don’t know how I would’ve gotten by without them. The property itself is nice and their restaurant is right in front of a beautiful beach. I stayed 5 nights— and even with the electrical outage, I wanted to stay much longer.

Absolutely gorgeous rooms and common areas, nice location close enough to the Center to walk but not directly in it. George and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful to an extend that goes way beyond usual hosts.
