Harana Surf Resort

The ambience of the place is great.

I've been waiting for 2 weeks now that they will reinburse my money back. We booked 3 rooms and 1 cancelled when we arrived at the resort because of age limit rules. So I want it to upgrade for another room but they said they cant do it and they want me to booked again and i pay cash 22k at the reception on that day we arrived and they said the booking.com will return my Money back because I booked online.

Very laid back island vibe with rustic rooms and a delicious restaurant! Decent location with only a few minute walk to Cloud 9 but would want a scooter or tuk tuk to enjoy the main street action in General Luna. The resort has a nice beach area to enjoy and relax at. A perfect place to relax and take a reset from life.

It was very loud at night with the hotel staff having their quarters on the back side of the rooms. The animal life really comes alive at night and I’d suggest wearing ear plugs to sleep. There was also a lot of ants coming in from the ceiling that kept drooling on the bed.

Everything! The vibe, the accommodation, the staff, pool, beach, surf classes! Not crowded and suoer relaxing! Only a short ride to general luna or a short walk to cloud 9.

The only thing is that it is said they change your bes linen and towel every second day. I stayed for a week in the shared villa and they were never changed. I asked to get my towel changed and tjat was not an issue.

The staff was very attentive and friendly. The grounds were well kept and clean and the restaurant had a good vibe to it.

The room felt incomplete. There was a large concrete area in the room that we’re not clear what it’s for as it was just that—- a slab of concrete with no decorations or cushions. The toilet seat and lid are not fitted well on the commode so there’s a gap and looked tacky.

The property was close to many restaurants and surf breaks.

The shower gave me a burn on my head. The resort wasn’t advertised as a party scene. Thankfully we brought ear plugs. Our whole room was rattling from loud music until 1am. I’m sure it’s a great place to be if that is your scene! We decided to book a room somewhere else and forfeit our second night so we could get some sleep.

Everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff was very nice and kind. The resort is relatively small, but lots of things to do. One could spend an entire trip there and not get bored. If there were any hiccups, everything was solved right away and handled without any stress on my end.

The properties location and atmosphere is great, the staff where good loved the vibe, restaurant food is one of the best restaurants in the island. The staff that teach surfing are very professional.

Bring your own towels

Have tried several places in Siargao, high to low end, hostel and private rooms. Harana was definitely my best experience between service, how clean it was, the location…

Could make dorms with fewer people and make the bathroom more private

Harana was the best spot to be in Siarago, it is centrally located but it has all the relaxed vibes you need between a surf session or a night out. I loved everything about Harana, especially the beach that is at the doorstep! The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, food is excellent. I would come back without a hesitation. Dorm had great vibes, everyone is very respectful and quiet.

Shower pressure in the dorms could be improved.

It's impossible to keep the room in the dark in the morning, so you don't have the choice to wake up early.Very noisy when it's raining

First and foremost, the staff is incredible. They really make you feel like family and the atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting. We did not get a chance to try the surf school but every meal we had at the restaurant was outstanding, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond. Special thanks to Jessica and Reve for making us feel at home (from Sienna and Cole)! We would love to stay again if ever we get the chance.

Given that tourism is steadily increasing on Siargao, for peace of mind it would be nice to see some CCTV or increased security/ updated locks on doors.

And so does everything we ordered at the restaurants, Great food and cocktails. close to a beach in a quite are but 5 minutes by tuktuk (that cost 1 dollar and Availble any time) to the central area.for us it was perfect.

In the room there are no shelves for clothes / other stuff and There is no comfy place to sit in the room besides the bed, so maybe some cushions on the concrete part inside the rooms would solve it.

Everything! This resort is the cleanest and nicest place I've stayed in a long time, they will change the bed sheets every two days and clean the entire room every morning. I definitely also love the integration of a surf school at Harana which makes everything so much smoother. Jessica the reception manager is the best, rarely have I ever met such a competent and nice manager that helped and cared for all my problems :)Pro Tip: Don't mind the price too much bc you'll get an amazing breakfast included!

The shower is poor and the roof when it rains is like living in the sound of Thor’s beating hammer where every drop is like a dance of thunder and lightning bouncing round the room. Love the aesthetic look of the place however the back of it each villa werenf finished and it seems like a plastic. Maybe best it to be done and put an actual roof.Also Noisy europeans played techno til the early hours of the morning.

Staff was so friendly! The breakfast was amazing. Private beach with nice amenities.

Very nice staff, the shared rooms are large and it has a the toilet and shower inside the room which is comfortable. There is a swimming pool with a small beach. The restaurant is very convenient and the food is great. Hot water in the shower

The massage is the worst one I have ever had and also very expensive (1000php/hour) honestly that massage is almost a scam, very annoying. The rooms could be cleaner and it didn’t smell well inside (but that’s more people’s fault). The location is not in general luna, a bit far from everything but if you have a bike you should be fine. I didn’t find the place as sociable as people say in the review.

The location is perfect for me, away from the hustle and bustle of the main town and it’s a beach front. I like that it’s closer to places around Cloud 9, walking distance. Great area for running, too.

They don’t change the sheets or towels, you will have to ask. I stayed for 6 nights.

Excellent location, a bit side of the noise and hustle, right at a surf spot

Allthough good service, I had to ask twice for changing the bed linen and towel. Ended up staying 10 nights and lost patience to wait for changing the sheets. They say after every two nights, but this won’t happen. Would be easier for the resort and for customers if they’d just say that ask for the change when you need it. Everyone would be happier

Everything, the staff, the location , surf school , restaurant. Everything is really really great .
