No direct beach access

Blessed to have stayed when it wasn't busy, so I felt like I was staying in my own private villa with a good size pool as my room was directly adjacent to it. My room also had lovely sea views and set amongst a lovely garden which was worth paying a little more than the other rooms but still incredibly cheap. There is direct access to the beach via a hidden gate so be sure to look for it. My room was big with a refrigerator and TV - limited channels only. The quality of room was typical of a tired Balinese type but I didn't mind the old look and style. The location was great, in the centre of town. Although breakfast is not included there are plenty of options close by but be sure to go to the cafe directly across the road for a real nice feed.

I liked it mostly except for a bit of noise that I think came from the refrigerator once in a while which isn't ideal when sleeping but I did get used to it. Be sure to have insect repellent for the odd mosquito that sneaks in.

I would like to share my experience in Dewa Barata Candidasa, me and my husband booked same hotel as last time since we’ve happy with location. I like to share one good things we had experience compared to last visit on arrival team members recognized us and warm welcoming and also staffs very friendly as always. Since we’ve working hospitality we do understand staff roll and management roll ,Our arrival day we spoke to the service team our last visit also toilet not really clean and also not getting fresh water for shower sadly to hear that from staff they have informed management who’s base in Denpasar they need to get new water pump,unfortunately management keep asking to repair and manage it !We really worried how we can stay two weeks however we have decided to be quiet and use 5 LTR water empty bottles to collect water .it's frustrating when management doesn't seem to be listening to the guests' concerns and there hasn't been any improvement since our last visit. It's crucial for management to address these issues and make the necessary improvements to ensure a better experience for all guests.

Good position and some staff great.

Have stayed here many times but won't be staying again. Pool green, room was mouldy, air-conditioning not cold no hot water or pressure, no lights in stairwell I fell at night. Pool toilet very disgusting. It appears that now the hotel is a long term stay for local people.

The Stairs of the pool not clean enough..liked slippery

The pool is wonderful and the water did not hurt my eyes. This hotel is half the price of neighbouring hotels, and has a wonderful ocean view from the room that most hotels in Candidasa don't offer . The staff were very friendly and kind. There was free parking at the hotel, so I could drive straight in,. Thanks very much for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Beautifully decorated courtyard.Clean room with comfortable bed.There is an ocean view area with a swimming pool, comfortable sun beds and small exit to the sea.The staff is responsive and can arrange a bike at a good price.

I like the location is located just right on main street and beach front with pool

The price if comparing with other properties near by is not worth. The good things was just hot water and tv the rest was no ac and the cleanliness was so disappointed. Once checked in the room I saw 2 cockroaches run under the bed and bathroom even ate my meals.
