Puri Oka Beach Bungalows

Great location and value. Staff were lovely and helpful. Other guests were open to polite conversation and suggestions. Massage was wonderful. Snorkeling was very convenient, fun, and a good value. Some limitations in staff English, but any issues were minor and resolved by other staff and we were grateful since we do not speak Indonesian. Food was delicious and good value. The resort arranged a very good driver for our departure to Tama Tirta Gangga Palace and Gardens and Ubud.

One room had a foul smell from the shower floor person the 1st night which was resolved my staff the next morning.

We took a snorkeling trip to Blue Lagoon with a local Balanese man, Tanah.Very convenient from the beach at Puri Oka.The restaurant was great and the staff were all friendly and gracious.

One of my favorite places in Bali. This was my fourth visit to puri oka and I always feel so cared for here. The staff is beyond compare. The food is fabulous. My favorite place to chill and enjoy the ocean.

Everything about the hotel is great.The main road was pretty scary to try to cross over as all the vehicles fly through there.

Candidasa is okay but beach isn't very nice due to the mining of the coral.

I truly loved my stay at this hotel! The room was spotless, the bed was so comfortable and clean, and I slept wonderfully. The restaurant served amazing food, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the poolside massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. It felt so relaxing and special—I can’t wait to come back.

The ice bath was not what I expected , it was nice but to me an ice bath is different.

Location, staff, facilities. Great value for a 2 star establishment.

The pool overlooking its own private beach was very nice. The front staff was very nice (didn't catch her name though). We came with motorbike and they provided free parking.

For breakfast we had a portion of noodle, but it was too salty. Fortunately we also ordered continental breakfast with bread so it's compensated.

Fabulous location right on the beach, with a wonderful swimming area, safely fenced off from the currents ….breakfast had good healthy choices, overlooking the water, comfortable bed, a special boutique ambience I love.Very close to restaurants, beauty salons, laundry services.

No fridge in room, but had kettle, tea, etc, rather small room, but no issue as the beach, and other attractions more important.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and varied. The hotel is small, clean and quiet, on the oceanfront with a small beach of its own. There is a lot to see and do in the area, either by taxi or by boat. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We wanted a quiet, comfortable hotel to allow us to do our own thing as a family, and this was perfect - no noisy guests or nightlife! Most other guests were Australian families.

Still one of my favorite places in Bali - it’s where I unwind and just listen to the waves while my soul rejuvenates. The vibe is relaxing and I never even feel to go off property to have the Bali experience. I love the flowers and beautiful decor. Food is fabulous and the massages are top notch!

I absolutely love there is NO television at this property. It was all about the view. The view was exceptional. Of all the places I’ve stayed the bed was the most comfortable. I slept very well here. The staff was EXCELLENT. Every need I had was met with kindness in a very efficient manner. If I wanted dinner at my room they delivered it. Everything was in walking distance. Shopping, yoga, massage, temple, etc. I will 100% return to Puri Oka!

I thought there was daily yoga. It was a short walk away on 3 days a week. My misunderstanding.

The beautiful ambiance. The pool was lovely. The ladies at the restaurant were polite and helpful. The view was spectacular

The bed was too hard. The hot water was lukewarm at best. No fridge. The restaurant was very basic, only grainy Bali coffee available. Basic breakfast. No blanket on the bed, just a sheet. When I asked for one I was told to just adjust the aircon. The man at the desk seemed irritated when asked for anything.

Next to beach, excellent duck tutu & generally good food, reasonable price.

The one bedroom bungalow (no 3) has a beautiful view of the ocean. It was quiet at night, the room was clean, and fresh towels were provided often. Easy enough to walk to the town centre or nearby restaurants. They helped arrange shuttles for us as needed.The family unit was spacious with 2 bathrooms and a filter water unit. Also has a view of the ocean.The breakfast was good.

It would be nice if both coffee/tea and juice were all included for breakfast, instead of charging extra if wanting both. Same for the additional bacon...

Cosy place with lovely staff and the other occupants were lovely too. It was clean and the location being on the beach was great. We used the sauna and ice bath which was great. We had to cut our trip short unfortunately! Candidasa is quiet in terms of tourist so if you’re looking to get away from the chaos of Seminyak and want to relax by the ocean, this could be your place.

Limited food options in candidasa. It’s a quiet town for tourists and the shops and eateries is limited. The hotel kitchen staff were lovely and the options were good. We were on a tight budget and this was slightly above for us. But we did eat there one night and all of us were happy. There was also limited beach area as the tide feels like it’s always in. But the water its self was a beautiful temperature and I probably had the best swim in Bali.

The hotel is off the main road and on a tiny beach. It has a nice pool and the breakfast and snacks were good. The spa was nice. The rooms are quaint in the Balinese style.

We love staying at the Puri OkaRight on the beach and the sounds of the waves at night are amazingThe food cooked by the kitchen is always good and the girls smiles when you go to breakfast always make me smile. Our Grandson loved fishing with the fisherman that leaves from the beach near the restaurant in the morning Picture is of his catch!

It’s a bit far to walk to the Main Street when you are older but Wayan the driver will take you and wait for a small charge which is convenient
