Pros +
- Very stylish and compact. And breakfast was excellent
- Great views overlooking the harbor. Rooms were comfortable
- Staff and location.
Cons -
- Front staff were not helpful and friendly. They don’t giving any information for facility and just as giving out keys for checking and collecting money. Breakfast location (restaurant) was excellent service and foods. I’ve enjoyed while staying there
- Parking was limited and filled up quickly. The restaurant hours were useless. Sign said it was open until 9:30am for breakfast. Went there at 9am and was told that the kitchen was closed. Was quite difficult to find other eating options in the area too.
- No closet, room very small for 2 people. Not easy to open the door to the room and put the key in a slot for electricity.

Staff and location.
No closet, room very small for 2 people. Not easy to open the door to the room and put the key in a slot for electricity.
Great location & breakfast
Very cramped room
Bed was comfortable, room was well laid out with a little sitting area. We could fit two large suitcases on the desk. You can put a sign on the door so they provide fresh towels and bottles of water without making up the room. View is of the fishing port so not that beautiful but still nice to see the water and we didn't hear the vechiles in the morning. Walking distance to many good restaurants, 10min walk into the main shopping streets.
Parking was a pain, very few parks outside the hotel and the other carpark you can use is 2 blocks away (10min walk) plus also gets full at night. We came back from dinner and had to squeeze into a corner to create a park. We could hear the water from the shower in the room above us which was above the bed so a bit annoying late at night. We asked about booking a snorkeling tour as you needed to call to make a booking and our esims don't allow phone calls, the lady at reception said to email them, unfortunately we never got an email back. We have stayed at many hotels before where they will call for you, but not this hotel.
location is great for this hotel, the prices are not too bad for Miyako, easy access for everything
Definitely not for the beach or swimming. The prices could be more affordable
It was a really nice location, with seaview, we really liked the option of free parking, staff was nice as always, the hotel also had laundry machines, and breakfast was delicious
Room was pretty small, but we already knew that so it was ok
The very good breakfast for those who love traditional Asian for Europeans who want sweet there is little offer. The room was small but like all rooms in Japan but very comfortable, the terrace overlooking the sea. Excellent location also for travel.
The staff were not very sociable unlike the other hotels in Japan. Not rude but less sociable.
Staff - amazing! Really always there for you to satisfy any requests.Position good too.Amazing burger restaurant just in the lobby.
Bed definitely very small (but with nice view).Breakfast “Japanese” with limited offer for Europeans in particular on the sweets.
Good location (convenient from the airport, going to other beaches/islands, etc.)
There's not a huge number of places to eat around the hotel.
Amazing breakfast with lots of local dishes and specialties.
Rooms are very small. Ended up doing an upgrade to a double twin room.
Good breakfast, lovely staff, great area, very clean and modern
Very small pool
Convenient location, nice sunset views, and great deal
Room was small, but on par with most hotel rooms in Japan
Very good breakfast. Convenient location, pretty close to the #9 bus stop from the airport. Also a short walk to the restaurants downtown.
No complaints! It was great.
Fantastic breakfast and nice design of rooms. Beautiful view. A special thank to hotel staff.
Great view and really nice restaurant that saved our lives, because there is nowhere to eat on entire island. Restaurant stuff was wonderful too! They remembered what we liked and followed every day?
There were only 2 washing machines for entire hotel, and every night people had to line up to make their laundry. We got an iron, but then just before our check out the reception guy asked us to bring it back. I said that I was going to use it after a breakfast, but he said that another guest is waiting for it. Come on, just buy more irons, they are cheap! Twin room was really small, no way you can put your luggage there and walk around. But on top of that the sofa was ridiculously huge. Definitely book a superior room if you don’t want to feel like you stay in a closet.
We walked to eat dinner from this hotel. and it is good easy to find it. Also we was able to watch the sunset from the balcony. The breakfast was delicious and I loved the library space.
I thought our room was a little bit small. And It’s not a big parking lot.
Staff, view, breakfast, rooms, pool area
Maybe a little more help on booking activities or best places to eat
The location was great, just next to Hirara harbor. All rooms had a great view of the harbor as well as the Irabu Bridge. All staff that we spoke to were very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was not bad, although it would have benefited from a better spread. Given that our visit came after a major typhoon that disrupted food and water supplies, this is very much expected. They did a good job with staggering breakfast crowds, so you could always rely on getting a table during the rush.
Some of the spaces within the hotel compound appeared grubby. While I appreciated the smart toilet features, it was difficult to use the bidet in the heat of the summer as there was no switch to turn off the heated seats as well as reduce the temperatures of the bidet water. Lastly, and I am just nitpicking here: some products at the gift store had stains on them.
Very clean and comfortable. Pool area nice
Staff were not knowledgeable about where to go locally
