Palm Springs Miyakojima Resort

We loved how spacious the room was. Having a washer and dryer in the room, a full size fridge and a kitchen with all the basics was really nice for a week-long stay.

There was a subtle musty smell in the room, and the AC unit felt like it wasn’t working as efficiently as it once had. Though it wasn’t a concern for us, it is approximately 25 min walk to the busy area for nightlife and restaurants.

It was modern style and furniture. It had a good small kitchen area and a little living room area. It had free parking. There was a small cafe nearby and you could walk to the beach.

The apartment block did not look very nice from the outside. It was nothing like the photos in Booking.com. Inside I had booked a twin beds for my friend and I to stay. However the 2 beds were together and could not be moved apart because of a wall. They said it was „Japanese Style „ Twin bed, however we complained and they eventually found another apartment where the beds could be moved apart. Staff were very reluctant at first to change, and a manager from Naha, Okinawa eventually sorted it out when my friend persisted. The apartment we got the second time was the one that was in all the photos. Booking.com need to highlight that „twin bed“ in Japan dies not mean the 2 beds are apart! Strange I know but that’s what they said.

We had a great stay at this accommodation near the beautiful Painagama Beach. The location was perfect – just a short walk to the beach, close to restaurants, and convenient parking spots nearby. Check-in was super easy and smooth, which made things even better after a long trip.The apartment had everything we needed, including a washer-dryer combo. It was a bit noisy, but it worked well and came in handy during our stay. Overall, it was a very successful and enjoyable vacation. Highly recommended!

The bungalow was amazing, and we were so happy with our small apartment! We had everything we needed, and the hotel personnel was very friendly and helpful all the time. There were a lot of eating possibilities around the corner, and the city was good to reach by foot. If you would like to explore the whole island, a rental car is a must. Thank you for everything!

The location is very good, quite close to sunset beach and pai nagama beach. There is plenty restaurants and cafes around it and a family mart not too far away. The room is spacious, has amenities such a fridge, toaster oven and stove to cook and the TV has several languages of netflix.There is free shuttle bus from and to the airport.

The room has carpet, and ours was full of stains, which made it look sketchy and not cleaned. The pillows are quite uncomfortable. The resort is kind of a complex of different buildings mixed between people's houses, so you don't stay where you check in. In our specific building people let the outside door open (for absolutely no reason) ALL THE TIME and a few spiders got in while we where there.

I made the reservation at the same with check-in day. On booking there was no point about the same day check-in time. When I arrived to hotel reception told me that I can use the room after 6 pm even if normal check-in time is 3 pm. It was very cold outside and I has to spend all that time outside. That’s very upsetting.

Nice apartment in the harbour area. Easy access to all main sightseeing spots by car.

Big apartment with good facilities. The accommodation is not directly in the city center, but it’s reachable by 15 Minutes walk. There are also some Restaurants around. Closest beach is reachable by 5 Minutes walk, convenience store as well. Staff is very friendly.

Good, clean room equipped with washing machine, small kitchen. very close to Irabu bridge/beach, Painagama beach. many good restaurants max within 2 km radium.

Very clean and walkable location. Beds were comfy and the space was just right for our group of 3. Loved the washer and dryer and kitchen.

Found a cockroach the last day we were there in the kitchen area. The people upstairs above our unit were extremely loud and we could hear their footsteps until very late at night.

The interior is amazing and something that one would not expect before entering. Appliances are good and cutlery is generous. The main office staff was also good.

Its an apartment stay rather than a hotel. The expectations are not set right.

Great location. It’s 5’ walk from Panigama beach. There’s a bus station there for the Island Loop Bus that goes to different islands, which make it convenient for those who travel without a car. The staff are super helpful. They took time to explain to me how to go around the islands and also recommended my travel plan given the time I have. The room are equipped with washing machine and a small kitchen which is great for quick meals as most restaurants near by are close during off-peak seasons. Bike rental are also available for short trips within the areas.

It’s more like a condo-hotel than a resort. The name resort is misleading and can cause confusion of what type of services are expected to be available.

It is a spacious apartment located in a big complex of rental apartments. It is not a resort per say. Wifi was working well. Location is convient - some 10min walk to a couple of beaches and several restaurants and combinis. City center is some 20min walk away or 600yen taxi away. Loads of parking spaces available by the complex. The staff is very helpful. There are some discounts on car rental services and free airport shuttle bus is a great a addition.

- it is not a resort, it is a neighbourhood of rental apartments- there is a distinct smell of humidity in the aparment and the aircon on dry mode provided only limited help on that- due to above, it takes a long time to dry the scuba diving equipment, but for cloths a dryer works great- it is an odd architectual choice to have a balcony door open to a very small space behind the building with some drop right outside the door- only on the last day we learned that there are bicyles available for rent

Really speaking nothing was good neither I will recommend to anyone

When we check in we ask for sea view upper suite,the check in agent lie to us says property has no view and it’s 1 floor building only,he lied to us and very first day of stay at night we have reptile in our room,we have to call a hotel staff to catch it

Location was very good, easy access to the city and to a mediocre beach nearby.Taxis could get very quickly to the address.Room was spacious and included many appliances, basically a rental apartment.

No room service provided (extra cost).Air conditioner got noisy from time to time, to the extent of waking me up during the night.Rental equipment available in the lobby was expensive and of low quality (we rented snorkel and parasol).

There was a washing machine. Good enough for few days stay.

The wall was a bit thin and some people were noisy in the next room.

Very conveniently located next to sunset beach. All the other beaches we drove were also very close, maybe 20 minutes maximum which made our stay very comfortable. The city center was 5 min by taxi and mere 440¥ so very very convenient

Everything, really. Spacious and clean rooms, good location close to many stores, restaurants and the dock we used for marine activities.

The first staff we met at check-in didn’t have a great attitude. Others were great though.

We loved the fact that there was a kitchen, a washing machine and a clothes dryer. Essentially it was a whole apartment at our disposal.

If you don’t drive, the location is inconvenient.
