    Pros +

    • Location is amazing, stuff is helpful, vibe in the hotel is great in general.
    • The staff were kind and helpful, even though they didn’t speak much English — including at the reception. They still did their best to assist us whenever we needed help. The hotel is located in the Seven Miles area near Shigira Beach, which is a bit far from the city, but perfect for snorkeling lovers — we even spotted a sea turtle! The hotel has a laundry room (though a bit pricey), and the cleaning service was generally fine. Our bathroom was surprisingly spacious — not like the usual tiny Japanese bathrooms — we had plenty of room to move around.
    • Location was good and it had laundry available (we were traveling for 3 weeks). Nice bathrooms in the rooms.

    Cons -

    • Only that breakfast is in the next hotel, but that’s not even so bad as you can have nice morning walk!
    • Unfortunately, the entire hotel had a strong musty, moldy smell, especially on the 5th floor where we were originally placed. It was so bad we had to request a room change. The new room on the 3rd floor was better, but the odor was still present.Breakfast isn't even served in the hotel but next door at the Santa Monica Hotel, which is inconsistent — sometimes you need to sign up and wait to be seated, other times you just walk in.You’re required to place used towels outside by 9 AM, yet housekeeping didn’t show up until 4 PM to replace them. No amenities are provided in the room either (e.g., toothbrush, razors) — you have to go to reception. They claim this is for eco reasons, but it felt more like understaffing.Early check-in was requested and confirmed as "possible if rooms are available", but when we arrived at 9 AM, we had to wait until 3 PM. Not the most flexible experience.Getting into the city is difficult — although there’s a shuttle operated by the Seven Miles group, it’s not very convenient. No real guidance was given on what to do nearby, no activity suggestions or local tips. The walls were dirty, and I always say: you can tell a lot about a hotel from its elevator — and this one had dusty corners and a dirty mirror. The lobby looks nice, but overall, the hotel felt like the weakest in an area full of other hotels, ranging from luxury to budget. To really enjoy the area, you’ll need a rental car or scooter. Otherwise, you're quite limited.
    • The music from the 1 st floor would play after 10 pm, no onsite dining, limited onsite parking and hard beds.

Absolutely insane value for money, rooms are modern, especially the bathroom : everything is new and comfortable, great size and lighting. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, it was a delight to deal with them. Location and shuttle service makes the impression even better, I rarely expect more than said in description, but this hotel is surely a gem for its price and area.

I wish to have 2 pillows, but it's really very minor.

Like: bathroom, view, good size room.Dislike: 100Y for pool towel, pool is not heated, charged for local phone calls in room, one microwave for the entire complex and it is in the laundry room. Mugs and cups are not being replaced after room cleaning. I have to called the front desk every days to get a new set of clean mugs and glasses. When I asked for new set of mugs and glasses to be replaced, one of the front end desk staff was not too pleased having to deliver to me.The public onsen is over rated, nice big hot springs swimming pool for everyone, but the separate onsen sex section is missing many options, no cold tub, no other herbal pools. It has different themes but the same bath water. The gym has limited equipment and you have to pay 1350Y to used!

Awesome hotel I book my hotel 1 day early and didn’t realize it as my flight was from LAX to HNL to GUM to MNL to NRT then HND to MMY and was told that i will have to pay the extra day however the customer service was kind enough and told me they will not charge meInstead they will move booking even though it was my fault for not notifying them ahead of time

    Hotel os perfect

Nice area for beautiful beaches. Hotel rooms are fairly nice.

There's not many restaurants or anything in this area and there's no bus so you'll have to take a taxi to visit the town. The resort restaurants were ok but not much authentic local Miyakojima food.

The location is good. Beach is nearby. And there are restaurants and onsen nearby. The hotel staff are friendly. The room is clean. The hotel is in the resort area and there are shuttle buses services, quite convenient. The neighbour hotel provides motorcycle rental service, 2200 yan for 3 hours.

Location was close to a nice beach

Owner Josh was without respect and treated us very bad! My wife got scared….

If you have a vehicle, the location is good and nowhere in the city is too far of a drive. The staff were nice and answered questions we had.

Before the trip, the number of restaurants offered by the Shigira resorts appeared plentiful however the website recommends reservations for dinner in advance. We did not make reservations prior to and tried to make them when we got there but most were fully booked. We managed to make reservations for 2 restaurants for dinner but when we were there, the restaurants were not even full. Portions were small and very expensive:- restaurant at the onsen: ordered hamburger and fries, hamburger was good, gave 10-15 fries- Sakai - soba, decent but small size - Ryugen - very expensive and small portions- Luna Rossi - small portions All in all, it was much cheaper and better to go into the city to get food from either a grocery store that had good sushi or McDonald’s. The beach facility was another negative part of the facility. We went to Shigira Beach and had to pay to sit on the beach (beach chairs with umbrella) even though we were guests at the resort. We paid for the cabana (9900 yen) since we had to pay anyways. Towels also had a rental fee. The only thing that was covered was parking.

The quietness of the area (apart from the club called "Funky Flamingo", which I personally did not like). The ability to use the facilities from the hotel in front called "Santa Monica" with a very nice pool and sauna with windows facing the sea. And in general the fact that Sea Breeze Hotel is part of the Shigira Resorts Hotels, so it was possible to dine out or use other hotel facilities and still having them connected to my hotel - in terms of payments.

None of the windows faced the sea.

Simple and clean rooms. The hotel has a pool which was really nice! The hotel is within the Shigira hotel complex and close to 2 beaches.

Beds were a bit hard and the bathroom started to smell after the thunderstorm.

    Clean toilet and spacious ??

The pillow and some towels stinks, maybe need to replace or wash it pls.

    8RobPosted on: 8-19-2023

The staff were very friendly, the room is nice and clean, and the pool is big and deep.

It’s a little pricey for the size of the room.

    2GabrielPosted on: 8-15-2023

    not much

they try cutting costs by diluting their shampoos with water, not cleaning our room, and by cutting desk hours. the reception is only open a few hours a day and not when you really need them. it’s a scam don’t go there

    5GiordanoPosted on: 5-9-2023

shuttle transfer from and to the airport.

English knowledge close to 0, no services and amenities offered. Too expensive for the offer.

    10EvelynPosted on: 4-10-2023

Clean, bright, located just over the road from the beach so it’s quieter and more private than its twin hotel Santa Monica. The hotel is in the Shigira complex so you receive complementary cable seats ticket (800yen/adult) and one time parking at Shigira beach (1000yen/car). The facilities are generous. I will come back.

To get driving direction to the hotel in Google you have to select Hotel Sea Breeze Casual, not “Hotel Seabreeze Coral”.

    7BirkmosePosted on: 10-18-2022

The rooms and pool facilities were very nice and we got great value for our money. It was very close to the beach and Shigira Onsen to.

It was a bit difficult for us to communicate with the staff because we don't speak Japanese very well.
