Hotel Santa Barbara Miyakojima Resort

The staff was superb. Picked us up from the airport and after, we rented a car from them. And they had shuttle service that dropped us back to the airport too which was awesome. It was really spacious and the best place so far from our vacation of 2 weeks in japan. I really felt like i had to review this place. Regarding the Moldy smell all people complained on the other reviews didn't really bother me. I am used to this normal smell that comes when it's really humid in humid

The room was big and comfortable with an equipped kitchen and a washing machine. There are free snacks and hot drinks at the lobby throughout the day.The staff is kind and helpful though they do not speak English.The location is OK, near all the big stores though you need a car to get around.Breakfast was not that great.

Everything!! ? The staff were so friendly and helpful. They even helped us to get a rent-a-car last minute at a discount. Make sure to inquire about rent-a-cars to the hotel. The staff are so helpful! And, by the way, be forwarded -- a rent-a-car is a must have in Miyakojima. Next, the room was so well organized, clean and comfortable, and it literally had everything we needed (except cooking oil). The airport is close as well as Don Quixote for grocery shopping. The facilities are new and modern. The free mixed nuts, kakinotane, popcorn, chocolate rocks, coffee, spring water, etc. was great! They even have free amenities like bath salts and facial masks and other stuff. Also, there are games you can borrow. Hotel Santa Barbara is located centrally in Miyakojima and so you can get anywhere fast (recommend you get a rent-a-car) from this beautiful hotel! This hotel even had New Year's Sake ready for hotel guests for the New Year's. Also, they have an Instagram page to follow if you want more information. Highly recommend!! I'd give this hotel six stars out of five if I could. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nothing. Great experience! Great location. Great staff. Great hotel! (If I had one complaint it would be that one of our two beds squeezed a little but it was no problem because the beds were so comfortable.)

Big room, a lot of space, everything to cook and rest. Also it is free lounge bonuses like drinks, pop corn, mask, bath salt etc. Also it is possible to rent diving equipment, or bike, or car, things for kids are free.

Smell in bathroom. Close to airport, but far from beaches and center of city.

Great location! You can visit all the most beautiful beaches! Close to the airport, main streets, Botanical garden, and Dougs coffee!

We had a great stay there. Free coffee, fully equiped apartment, comfy bed. However what we liked the most was the nicest and most welcoming stuff ? Hope to see you again one day.

The room size was very nice, we could wash and dry our clothes easily.The pictures are exactly the same as the property.

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with all the appliances you could think of. There are many amenities and free treats in the lounge, like sweets, popcorn, board games or free whisky shots. Somebody put effort to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast was quite good too. It’s walking distance from the airport which is big plus. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is facing the road, which can be a bit noisy depending on the traffic.Car needed for commuting.

The room was very large, clean and comfortable with a nice kitchenette. The bathroom and toilet was clean and spacious. The room was nicely air-conditioned and sofa was great. There was plenty of parking available for guests.

Was not so close to the shops, we would need to drive to the closest combini.

The room is very clean, big enough for two person. The staff was kindly.I ordered breakfast, just served doughnuts and rice，coffee machine was brooken，that’s too simple and we were not satisfied.The most unsatisfied thing was the price getting 30% cheaper three days before we check in, we just missed the free reorder limit,that’s a huge loss of money for us.About location, hotel was near the airport, but not near to any beaches.

The rooms were great, and the location made a great jump off point for sight seeing.

There was no breakfast. They had signs listing a lot of different foods as service items but all they had was some drinks and some chocolate cereal flakes. There were some biscuits but when my wife asked about them she was told you had to buy them

the staff went out of their way to make my short single person non Japanese speaker stay special. they very well used Google translate to make sure I understood everything. I felt welcome. the hotel had everything you might need like bike hire (but you need to be a good cyclist).to rent a car make sure you get an international driving license.I loved this little hotel even if slightly out of the way it let me experience the island

Amazing buildings and rooms!When my Japanese cell phone could not connect to local cell service the front desk helped call for taxis and reservations.Very helpful and very cheerful staff!
