Lamai Coconut Beach Resort

Nice beach , water was nice and warm, cloudy with silt but clear enough to swim in. Needs some refurbishing of the bungalows but nice enough for the price Breakfast was great and the night market for dinner is a a 10 minute walk away. We really enjoyed our 5 days there

Bed was hard

Third floor over looking the beach was great. The buffet breakfast very good. The pool very clean. Great shower with good water pressure.

The bed was lumpy and needs to be replaced.

We have been staying at this Resort multiple times over the years. Right on to beach, lovely pool. Staff are very friendly. Super large room, safe, coffee and fridge. Lots of space to unpack clothes.

When we got there, the two matresses were in a terrible state, housekeeping quickly came and brought us others. The sun loungers is in pretty bad shape and urgenly needs to be replaced/renovated, their matresses is also in a sad state.

beach was good, i stayed in a bungalow. cleaning staff was so pleasent. close to everything. excellent water pressure.

one women on staff ignores you and was rude when i was trying to pay for my laundry. sometimes not enough sun loungers.

Good location, very close to the Lamai market but yet very quiet in a secluded road. Direct access to the beach.Big rooms with balcony, bath tub, comfortable bed.

Sea view is not actually sea view room, you can barely see the sea at some angles.No dental lots provided, shampoo and shower gel refilled only upon request.Pool is inside the hotel while beach is elsewhere so you either choose one at a time.Jet ski happens right at the beach in front of the hotel that can be noisy and disturbing during the day.

it was nice to sit at the bar at happy hour and look out over the beach and I had a good view from my room

the people next to my room had young noisy children and the parents didn't know how to shut a door without slamming it, but this is no fault of the resort just rude people who don't consider others

The location - quiet but plenty of little bars and cafes around. Great beach for swimming.

I think it's overpriced for what it is. Quite dated and needs a refresh.

The location was excellent. Our bungalow was on the beach. the staff was friendly. the restaurant was perfect for lunch, dinner and happy hour. Moo was exceptionally helpful with our computer and visa issues.The beach was flat and very easy to walk on.

the best location on lamai beach. best beach of samui (waves, depth for swimming and soft sand).good restaurant, a bit pricey compared to other good ones around. good breakfast.

a bit dark. bungalows are really old. but resort is on the beach. which is practical. lots of mosquitoes in the room. (especially beachfront bungalow). take garden bungalow (more natural light) than beach front bungalow (too dark with the big trees around). they should completely rebuild these bungalows with something more modern. but then price would not be the same.

We think the location would have been nice

We prepaid for a 5 night stay. We lasted 20 minutes. Our room was infested with mosquitos. They were coming in the room from the floor boards. I got 8 bites, so we asked to have our room changed. They told us no rooms available. And no refund. I immediately rebooked to a different hotel not caring about the money we lost. 15 minutes later they texted me and said they have a room in their hotel area. We were already on the way to another resort.

Rich breakfast. The room was large and comfortable with a big balcony. Very close to the beach.

Very poor coffie at breakfast, a good one with extra cost of 80B. The pool is useless, since it is inside the property, and has no view to the sea. They tried to charge me for a canceled day even with on time notice.

Location is great

The service is not great. I found the staff to be inattentive and not very friendly. The room cleaning is just ok. There were mosquitoes in my room when I checked in. If I go back to Samui I will stay somewhere else on the beach.

I had a fantastic stay at Lamai Coconut Beach Hotel. The location is excellent—right on a beautiful, clean beach with beach chairs provided for hotel guests, and just off the main road, so it's peaceful yet close to everything.The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. There’s a big swimming pool if you want a break from the sea, and the hotel offers a great breakfast with plenty of options, plus lunch and dinner available on-site.There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, so dining choices are never an issue. Whether you're relaxing on the beach or exploring Lamai, this hotel is a fantastic base.

Great staff, good scooter rental, great location, loved the houses.

The bathroom was a little outdated

Technically beachfront for a good price. Had disrupted view. Friendly staff.Hotel offered scooter hire.

Bathroom door not normal size. Too small. Knocked my head multiple times.Uncomfortable pillows. A bunch of dogs hung around. Fine during the day. Not ok with late night and early morning barking. Jetski rental operated both sides of the hotel frontage, creating noisier beach outlook.Has a chunky key room fob.

Wonderful staff, great food and beach

Not much. The location is ok. On the beach and close to shops and the Lamai night market.

We booked two rooms and when we arrived they both smelled awful. When I looked at the pillows on the bed they were filthy and smelled of stale sweat!We asked to be moved and the manger found us one other room and one of the chalets. The room was ok but the chalet was tiny and had rubbish air con. There were gaps in the wood so loads of mosquitoes got in. Would definitely not waste your money.
