Great location, beautiful beach front, good sized pool, decent rooms with good facilities. Nice staff.

Some Aircon in some rooms is old and slow running but they regassed it and gave us a fan in case it dropped.and was fine for rest of the stay.

Has a lovely beach which we swam in most days. Buffet breakfast had a lot of choices. Staff were always available and helpful. Location was great with walking distance to restaurants and bars.

Wifi was not very good. But we came for the resort and relaxing so not a game changer for me.

We really loved our stay. The hotel is beautifully decorated, grass is nice, pool is great and clean, the beach access is awesome. The staff is super friendly and kind. The whole property is beautiful but does need some maintenance. It really wouldn’t take much to elevate the experience. Beds were a bit hard but honestly pretty comfortable, especially loved the soft fluffy pillows that felt like you’re sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast on some days was better than others but overall pretty good. Had fresh fruit, an egg station where they make you eggs. They had really good French toast and pancakes. The bacon was bad, like chewing on a piece of leather. They had good coffee and even had Thai milk tea in the machine. There was a salad bar and breads with jams. The breakfast was decent. The pool was nice, and had options to get a massage near it. They had an area to get ice cream and drinks. Our room had a big balcony with a sea view, amazing. Great location , walking distance to shops and even a small night market with great food options. Staying here was way better than fisherman’s village, which is super touristy, loud and overpriced. The hotel also has great massage places nearby. Overall we lived our stay, would highly recommend it.

The WiFi was brutal! It was soooo bad. We needed it for work and could barely send an email. It was extremely frustrating. That and the room had only two outlets for four people in the room. It was impossible to even plug in just our phones. These issues could be so easily resolved by getting better internet in the hotel and offering even a power bar to offer more outlets for guests that need it. They do offer body wash but they put the same thing in shampoo and body wash bottles. Would be such an easy thing to offer shampoo, body wash and conditioner, all separately. Our room had a shower that was bad. There was rust on the door and it wouldn’t close. Again, such an easy fix and would make the overall feel of the property so much better.

Breakfast was good, many options. The pool was awesome. Great location, central but quiet.

    7RobinsonPosted on: 4-20-2025

The location was perfect, although allot of rubbish on the beach which is sad. Our view from the balcony was lovely.

The bedding was stained and the air conditioner did not work. I arranged for an airport pick up through the hotel which did not arrive...we had to queue up for over an hour to get to the hotel very late at night.

The size and location of the resort was lovely set on the beach. They even had a cute turtle and coi carp in the reception area. Rooms were spacious.

The bathrooms could do with a little updating and a little 7/11 would be good nearer the hotel than the strip but it wasn’t too far.

Lovely family run hotel. They will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. This property is at its price point. Was great for us and had everything we needed.

The beds are hard, like everywhere in Thailand. But went to Lotus and bought some mattresses toppers. Easy cheap fix. Gave them to the housekeepers when we left. Don’t really have anything negative to say, as it’s not a 5star resort. So it lived up to our expectations.

Property very aged in need of good refurbishment there 5 days not once did our room get cleaned only one plug socket in the whole family room so couldn’t charge phones properly and when we checked out wanted to charge is for a mark on the sheet left by sand even though they hadn’t bothered to change the beds for us really disappointed as wasn’t cheap

The location of Aloha was fantastic — surrounded by cafes, street food, and plenty of spots to explore. It was super convenient to get around on the bike arranged by the hotel. The only downside was that the rental price was a bit higher compared to other nearby places.

There was no iron in the room, which is quite essential for travelers. We had to go to the laundry room to iron our clothes, which wasn’t ideal. The place was clean, but there were no elevators, so we had to carry our bags up and down the stairs.

    7AhmedPosted on: 4-6-2025

Excellent location on a nice, sandy beach. Good size clean pool in beautiful surroundings that kept clean, tidy. Polite & very helpful staff. Experience may vary depending on the view from rooms.

Friendly staff at front desk super beach location access door to pool big room

Not much maybe improve breakfast options but did not have high expectations Fresh juice better - beds quite hard upgrade mattress

Location not too far from restaurants and bars. Nice pool area and breakfast was ok

No safe in room which I found disappointing. They offered to lock valuables in reception which was an inconvenience. Couple of uninvited cockroaches for company. second floor only accessible by stairs, , no elevator. Rooms could do with an update

Nice resort next to the beach. Lamai beach is great, long sandy and beautiful balanced between crowdy and quiet beach. The pool is nice, the room was big and comfortable. Nice location, not to far from main street and restaurants.

Well, the room was little bit dark, not much light there but in general ok.

    6LynnPosted on: 3-12-2025

The pool and the lobby were great. Nice access to beach.

The beds were too hard and I like hard beds. There was mold on our shower curtain which they changed for us.

    7Dan-cristianPosted on: 3-4-2025

Good location, good breakfast, good pool, next to the beach. Very enjoyable.

The room that I stayed in really needs renovations. So does the building wing. The air-condition was very loud during the night.

    7CarolPosted on: 3-2-2025

Spacious room and bathroom, with terrace overlooking pool and sea, good sunbeds and beach towels plus a pool bar. Breakfast was good overall.

Water was cold in shower for first two days, would have been nice to have a bar that opened in evening.
