    Pros +

    • The location and most staff were amazing
    • Great location, nice pool and sunbeds
    • Nice staff, big complex, a lot of pools, al la carte breakfast in off season. Beach is connected to the hotel. Firm beds.

    Cons -

    • The hotel bar staff were very unprofessional and not very friendly
    • Our room was not clean and had to move to another room
    • The lighting was somewhat less. And the showers could be overhauled and it tastes like salt water but your not sticky afterwards. Maybe new TV‘s could be a thing with WiFi.

Beach access, quiet despite being right on the main busy road along the beach, nice pool.

The bathroom needed significant remodeling. It had very moldy caulking around the tub, the tub flooded the floor after every use from leaking, and the shower head was not affixed to the wall so you had to hold it with one hand. The bed was very hard. The services felt very expensive for the quality level of the room.

Right on the beach but also with a nice pool. Also right in the middle of town.

We ordered deluxe rooms which turned out to just be standard rooms a bit closer to the beach. Place is a bit dated and has a musty smell in all the rooms. They have nice bungalows that I managed to look inside. We paid for deluxe and I am sure we should have been in them as they are great.

    Beach

1st Room, changed and the 2nd was better, but not worth money.

Some an expensive experience, but definitely in the high end of luxury locations. We had a private swimming pool, which seems a bit chilly compared to the ocean.Amazing place, worth a visit.

The grounds and pool were lovely but room seriously need updating. And are really smelly

    Rooms were smell and dirty

It was very calm resort my the beach. It has decent bar and restaurant itself with happy hours. We could walk other restaurants and bars from the beach. We were able to relax by the sea and pool. Staff were very nice and friendly. Facilities were decent, they were more in 90s style but comfortable and clean.

    7SalseroPosted on: 4-5-2025

Rooms are fine. Water pressure is great - painfully strong, actually. Housekeeping is good. Pools are a good size.

Compared to countless resorts I have stayed at on Koh Samui, I was dissappointed by the lack of care from staff around the pools and beach. Beach umbrellas are huge and rusted, and you have to struggle like hell to put them up when you need one, damaging your skin on your fingers and hands. Any other resort I every stayed at, staff would coming running as soon as they saw you move towards a beach lounger, and ask whether you wanted the umbrella put up. Also, there were not enough umbrellas in relation to the number of loungers. Hard to find a spot where you do not get burned to death.Vomit-inducing loud music coming out of the restaurant further cut down the number of areas one could find to relax and read a book. Food and drinks are over-priced, which means that the restaurant looked like a morgue most of the time. Nothing "happy" about happy hour - it merely brings the beer down to an expensive rather than super-overpriced level, and only if you buy a bucket of beer.

Brilliant location, on beach, in middle bars, restaurants etcLarge spacious room, comfortable bed, lovely balcony.Staff so kind and friendly Good value

Pool area and close to the beach

We stayed in the premier rooms, but i would say that they need an upgrade. First we had a room on the ground floor. But we had to move directly becouse the room smelled of mould. I would say this was a common problem for all rooms on the ground floor .

Location is the best in Lamai, hands down! central to everything, a huge relaxing pool, the beach on your doorstep. Rooms were comfortable and housekeepers were efficient each day.

The bathtub in the rooms were a little weird, in that there was no way to prevent them from flooding the bathroom. The design of the shower meant that every day the bathroom was soaking wet.

    8NickiPosted on: 3-10-2025

Location was excellent, great access to beach. Pretty gardens. Lovely infinity pool. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds.Friendly staff.

In need of update especially bathroom and balcony furniture. Shower over bath very powerful but risked flooding bathroom due to design. Large step into bath. Not hotels fault but too many sun beds reserved with towels all day!!

    7PhanrakPosted on: 3-9-2025

The location is good right in the centre of Lamai with a good breakfast venue opposite. The pool is lovely overlooking the sea but there is an element of sun bed wars with a shortage of beds.

Bed uncomfortable felt like there was a plank of wood in the mattress.Shower was hit and miss in terms of pressure and didn't spray water in consistent directions.. probably needs a new shower head. The bathroom is dated and the shower leaked water excessively on the tiled floor causing a slip hazard and the bath was very small. Basically the bathroom needs a revamp.

The Pool is fantastic. The layout is great providing guests lots of space to enjoy. Our room was also very clean and comfortable.

The weather was not great during the first 2 days of our stay which is uncontrollable.

My second visit & the location of the weekender resort is perfect for me, its bang in the middle of everything, the rooms were kept immaculately clean with fresh bedding and towels, supplies of tea, coffee and water also given daily, the little fridge in the room was very useful. Yes some repairs were necessary in the rooms but nothing that spoiled my stay.

Shower over the bath ? surely some bathroom updates are required and necessary and not everyone can afford to pay for premium rooms as the difference in price is quite significant, although I’m quite mobile I did find it at times dangerous climbing into and out of the bath. Another pet hate is the daily rush to get a sun bed, people getting poolside and beachfront before 7am to put towels on and reserve sun beds only to then disappear for hours and sometimes not returning stopping others using the sun beds

    6MitchellPosted on: 2-24-2025

    Very well located

The pool area was nice, but it needed refreshing. The paint on the built-in pool seats were peeling

    3DouganPosted on: 2-21-2025

Location was good, pool was nice, gardens were pretty.

The rooms were not cleaned properly, pillows smelled really bad, mattress was the rock hardest mattress we have ever slept on that it hurt to lay on your side. Only one outlet for electronics The shower/bathtubs drain straight onto the bathroom floor and dirty, soapy water pools there all day. Breakfast eggs etc were cold, many items not well stocked and very few choices.

Good location , really quiet , nice room , on the beach ,

All the sun beds gone by 8 am, just towels no people ! Towels should be removed by staff !
