Ao Nang Khao Kaeo Resort

Our bamboohuts were great, everything you need.Obviously this is not the Ritz so keep expectations reasonable.Its a cool experience.My kids and I really enjoyed the place. Beside the mishap with the tour guy the staff was super friendly and helpful.

The tour guy tried to get me for 1100b He told me his discounted price which when I checked around was like 1100 more than everywhere else. Either they need to find better people to work with price wise or they need to be more honest!!

Nice resort , nice swimming and relax area , staff very friendly , I recommend 100%. They have also laundry facilities and scooter rental .. nice bar with fresh drink .. gym near by in the case you want training , my husband loved it.

room very clean and comfortable bed , toilets very modern style and everything work perfectly, shower raining in shower , the room was even better then pictu Online , very happy for this choice.. thanks Mina amazing reception and person.. I will back soon

Low price and good location with free parking

Rooms were not clean and found issues with WiFi and electricity.The washroom was not good and had problems with drainage.

No amenities. Toilet wasn’t clean, staff did not clear previous occupier’s trash was left. Handle of the toilet door is broken.

Love the style (bamboo huts) if you like mui thai , this is the place as there is a training centre next door

As usual the bed was terrible, location was a bit further away from town then I was expecting. 1hrs walk to the beach

Everything was perfect! The bungalow was so clean, the staff was really kind and friendly, and the location was far for the noise but close to the center. It was an amazing staying.

The wifi was not working. But it wasn’t a problem because didn’t need it al all. We were enjoy the time in that beautiful place without phones.

The place was dirt cheap

The atmosphere is fantastic, direct contact with the nature, nice swimming pool.

The poisition requires a veicol to move between the resort and the center of Ao Nan. Not possible walking. Needs attention and manutentation to some nail that comes out of the bungalow or from some bench, risk of getting hurt

Comfortable beds, beautiful site and a great peaceful and natural location. What really made this stay for us was the staff. My boyfriend (stupidly) left food in our room all day and lots of ants got in. We went to reception to ask if they had any spray we could use (of course we did not expect them to solve this), the staff not only came to our room to help us but they offered us to move rooms and gave us an upgrade as our booked room wasn’t available. They did not need to do this at all as they weren’t at fault, but it just shows they really care about guests. Amazing place.

good for a short stay room was basic but clean and had everything we needed (bed, fan, bathroom etc.) you get what you pay forpool is lovely had bikes for hire, shop nearby too.

bit far from Ao nang beach and getting transport can be tricky if you don’t want to use bikes. rooms do get very warm, apparently there are rooms with air-con but this wasn’t offered or advertised anywhere so we were unsure. be careful what food you bring into the bungalow and where you put it as ants will come after it, best to keep the bin outside.

A good spot for people wanting to be close to ao nang or railay without going into the more crowded spots. A cool little hut.

Localita Is the best ! Its next to the Muay thai center , but Its really peacefull place! 10mim by bike from ao nang beach and les than 5min by bike from the center ! The place looks like heaven ! Yeah it was the small problem with the sink, but when you choose a bamboo house you can't expecting that Will be same as 5stars hotel. But for me it feel like 10stars. Everybody there is so friendly !!! Woman there speak english very Well! If you need something like toalette paper ask to guy in the reception. He Is there until 22.00 (sometimes longer :D ) .He Is not so good in english but he Is trying his best also with translator. Room was amazing !! They Are cleaning pool every day!!Thank you so much !!

Very nice location and rooms. Rooms are clean and pool is excellent.

Everything was okay except for the beds. It was uncomfortable and we got 1 too small blanket. There was only a fan which didn't cool the room down, so it was really hot in the room. The bathroom was great and wehad a nice balcony. The pool is really nice.The staff is so nice and helpful. And the location is really peaceful.

Everything was good, but if you like more privacy I'd choose somewhere else. It's friendly and family friendly. I have a scooter, this place isn't walking distance to the beach.

I was afraid my morning toilet routine could be heard by the neighbor!!! But hey, that's traveling...

It was a cozy place and the temperature of the swimming pool was perfect. I liked the vibe. Everything was in bamboo.

Location not ideal, but with a scooter you can get anywhere. Bed was quite hard.

Beautiful location which was quiet and peaceful.Nice space and pool.

Small hole in bathroom floor let in a cockroach but there was nets to prevent this happening. All in all to be expected.
