Peace Laguna Resort & Spa

The hotel location is a prime in Ao Nang beach, staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a good selection of western and Thai dishes. I really liked their omellets which makes my day. My mom and I had a great time at Peace Laguna.

The room, staff, pool and location were excellent. This is my second time at the hotel land I will be back.

I had to pay for breakfast which in theory was included! Had to pay for airport shuttle which was supposed to be included! Wifi doesn't work.

Good breakfast, relaxing pools, mini alligator looking monitor creatures swimming by in the lagoon. My 2 daughters and I liked it so much we stayed an extra day for 5 days total.

In the heart of Ao Nang, very big rooms, their king bed enough for 4 persons even. Nature is quite beautiful all green around, staff so kind and helpful

The location, the stuff

The breakfast is a bit "poor".The shower is outside, with wind it cold.

The breakfast buffet. The serviceminded staff. The New Years banquet dinner and gala show. How it is tucked away from the busy main street but still right there close to shopping and restaurants. We took the back gate to the ocean. It's a great beach area there with lots of food vendors and massage places.

All the loud and diesel smelling long boats going in the ocean back and forth all day. Making the ocean water green and not clear.The smelly creek at the hotel. Sometimes the water pressure goes away in the shower in the rooms (on 3rd floor) and you loose hot water. Just dial 0 and they will fix it.

Second time in Ao Nang,second time at Peace Laguna. Reason? It's simply the best in the area.We loved the private cottage,with the comfy deck,huge room and the shower in the open. Very nice pools, luxurious entry in the hotel and mountain view,plenty of restaurants nearby, all add to a perfect holiday. And the serene silence... They call it Peace Laguna for a reason. Thoroughly recommend.

Staff was amazing! Shout out to the Manager Peter and bartender Toff! Toff went over the top in making our stay special.

The only complaint would be the soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom. Literally everything else was perfect! Our stay was comfortable and really helped us relax. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. We spent most of our days chilling poolside or at the beach.

The setting of the property was beautiful, it was really close to the beach and the main strip but was quiet and peaceful.

Check in process. I requested for early check-in as we reached Hotel at 1300 hrs, but they didn’t give us our room till 16:30 hrs. That was really bad experience and we couldn’t plan for any tour that day.

The location is the only positive thing about the hotel.

Everything else but the location.- The room was not clean when we arrived- The room didn’t match with the description on the website- Housekeeping took 5 hours to bring us a second set of towels (which was originally missing when we arrived)- The facilities are old and not maintained (Pool, Showers, common areas)- There was no music, no ambiance, the restaurant / bar felt dead, my wife who works in healthcare compared it to the palliative care unit in hospitals…- The access card to enter to room stopped working after a few hours, we constantly had to go back to the reception to get them to work again (very convenient when it’s storming and you’re getting back to your room at 2am- There were no easily accessible plug outlets in the bedroom, only a few far from the bed- The isolation wasn’t great, we could hear kids/people from the next door hotel playing in the pool at 8am sharp

I like the view from the bungalow. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were smiling and helpful. Any request was immediately completed and the host and manager of the hotel try their best to solve our request.

I think the pictures shows better than the reality. It could be refurbished especially the shower and the bathroom. For that much of a price was not worth it.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided everything we requested and the resort itself is kept incredibly clean. The use of the spa and the massages were also great.

The hotel is in the middle of a well cared garden, surrounding a lovely pond, which gives every corner of the place a sense of tranquillity. We slept very well. The 3 pools are nice and a very good alternative to day trips to the islands in front of Krabi in case one wants to spend a day relaxing. The reception area is very welcoming.The staff is attentive and caring. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options both of continental food and Thai.

The rooms could be cleaned better. When we checked in we had the impression that our room had not been properly cleaned (e.g., there were some stains on a pillowcase, hairs on the bed and in the bathtub, the floor did not look as if it had been moped). We asked the staff to fix these issues and clean the room the following day but on our return to the hotel we found that they had just made the bed and changed the towels. The furniture looks a bit outdated and could be refreshed in some parts.
