Nothing it’s perfect

Spent our wedding here and it exceeding our expectations. The staff really made us feel special and treated us great. Book yourself a spa and reserve a table at the grotto. Nothing disappointed and we will be back :)

Cannot say enough good about this resort, maybe the best resort experience I have ever had. The villa was gorgeous and modern and plenty of space. The resort as a whole is gorgeous with great pools and tasty restaurants. Impeccable service - they would tidy up our room almost every time we left. Tons to do and were excellent in helping us organize activities. Also cannot recommend Railay Beach enough. Krabi is great but Railay is unmatched by just about anything you can find in the world.

Nothing. Only just to mention,we made a booking with Grotto for our 10th anniversary, we requested a seaside table. It was confirmed that this note was taken. But when we arrived they did not have any note and it was upsetting that all tables were full on the front row. Eventually they arranged us a front row table anyway.

This place has it all. Great food, excellent and unreal views, unbelievable pool and even better than all of this was the employees. Best of the best worldwide! From the start, being picked up on a boat and driven to the resort and being welcomed by everyone at the beach was already amazing. You literally get out onto the sand from the boat that pulls up to the front gate of the resort. They immediately treat you like you're home. Check in was smooth and easy. A golf cart takes you to your little bungalow in the jungle followed by another guy who brings all your luggage upstairs and lays it out perfect. Walking into the room takes your breath away. You are in a literal paradise in a very clean, big, comfortable and perfect room/bungalow. The room is only the beginning. The resort has 2 beaches. Yes 2!....the pool has unreal views and it is very hard to get out. Monkeys jumping from the trees, coconuts falling out of the trees, lizards the size of dinosaurs just casually walking around everywhere, giant jungle birds flying everywhere and only smiles from the few people you see. This is what is great. You dont have 1003975 people all over the place and no room to do anything. It feels empty! It feels like it's only you and your party there. So much space and room to do things. Walk the random trails and enjoy the plants, trees, animals and massive limestone cliffs that pop up out of nowhere! We didnt have a single bad bite in this place. Every restaurant was incredible. Every drink was perfect. And honestly the best views from a restaurant have to be here at this resort. Nowhere else on this planet like it. EAT AT THE GROTTO! The pictures don't do it justice. Get a massage at the spa! Absolutely ridiculous!? so great. Book a private boat tour and have them pick you up at Rayavadee. They pull onto the beach in front of the hotel and you literally walk into about knee deep water and get in your own personal and private boat for the day!

Beautifully designed to fit into a lush rainforest, yet convenient to walk around. The wildlife and general wilderness are amazing. The quality of the room was exceptional - heavy wooden furniture, gigantic comfortable bed, a lot of small details and very clean. A/C is also very powerful. The breakfast was delightful and healthy. The food in the restaurants was also good. Staff go out of their way to meet all your needs. Nearby Railay walking street is very close. The three beautiful beaches.

The pool could be designed better, especially for kids. A Jacuzzi would go a long way (especially in the cooler days we got to experience there).In high-tide it’s impossible to go to (or return from) Railay walking street - seems like a more convenient passage than the beach should be arranged.Food prices at the hotel are especially high, compared to the food at the town.

Location amid scenic beauty and nature. Impeccable service, delicious food, and the most comfortable pavilions. You don’t ever want to leave.

Not one complaint. It is a perfect resort.

Seeing monkeys roaming freely inside the hotel was very fun. Amenities are great and in good shape.

The staff wasn’t as attentive or friendly as one would expect from a luxury hotel in Thailand. Sometimes we had to wait over 20 minutes for a golf cart to pick us up to move within the hotel. The food wasn’t amazing and felt overpriced, 5x what you find outside.

The gym , the breakfast , the room was huge and comfortable, the beeches, the nice and easy walk to the village.

There weren't a lot of activities in the resort like yoga only once twice a week

Rayavadee is truly one of the most incredible resorts I’ve ever stayed at. From start to finish, everything felt luxurious and unforgettable. The villas are spacious and beautifully designed, the pool is fantastic with views over East Railay Beach, and the breakfast buffet by Phra Nang Beach is outstanding. I loved that the property is basically surrounded by three stunning beaches, with plenty of spots to relax, including beach beds to lounge in. The main entrance opening into a bay feels magical, and The Grotto restaurant—set inside an ancient cave—is a one-of-a-kind experience.It’s been a month since my stay and I’m still dreaming about it. Without a doubt, I can’t wait to return.

Everything at the resort was truly wonderful, dreamy, and beautiful – from the staff’s kindness and service to the stunning views and unique design. However, I did face a couple of issues.

First, in my room there were some small insects on the bed, which was unpleasant. But the biggest disappointment came from my dinner experience at The Grotto restaurant. The tall, slim waiter who served us was very rude. We first sat at one table, then immediately decided to change to another. He raised his voice at us, saying it was not allowed to change more than once, and insisted loudly that “this is the last time you can change.” I responded firmly that I had the right to choose my table, but after that, throughout the whole dinner, he served us with a bad attitude – frowning and making us feel unwelcome.

We had a problem doing the Check out, because the credit card machine wasn’t working with our card and my husband needed to run outside of the hotel to an ATM to withdraw the money, in a very short time that we had to catch our speed boat to Koh Phi Phi. And because of this, since they didn’t excuse with us and gave us an acceptable solution, he has a heart condition and he had to run so fast to arrive in time to pay in cash for all our stay. It was inexcusable from the hotel’s behalf, since it was not our fault that their credit card machine didn’t work. I think that they should have given us other solution than make my husband run to the village to withdraw the money to pay for our stay in the hotel. In the end it ruined all the experience in Rayavadee!

What an amazing place! We’ve stayed in Railay beach many times, this was our first time in Rayavadee. I mean, Railay beach and many accomodations are very nice, but this one was out of this world. Will be back for sure!

Beautiful hotel with stunning grounds. We stayed in a bungalow with an interesting colonial design. The staff was very friendly. Dinner at the Grotto restaurant added the most vivid sensations to our stay.

The outlay- just villas, no big complex, spread out in nature. We saw many different kind of monkeys, waran and enjoyd time at the pool.Close to busy touristy restaurants, massage places, shops- really nice if you want to buy inexpensive souvenirs,…

The noise of the many boats arriving near the breakfast area and sometimes the smell of the motor. Many tourists who don’t belong to the hotel climb along the sunbeam of the resort as the beach is public.No warning of the jellyfish but luckily you were prepared with vinegar so it is probably something that happens often?!?

Incredible location of the hotel, magical views and access to 3 beaches from the hotel. 100% recommend to visit this place to experience the beauty of Krabi. The staff is very friendly and professional, the pick up from the airport was excellent, we have 3 small kids and I was amazed how caring and attentive the staff was during the pick up. The hotel doesn't have kids club, however they have a schedule of very nice activities for kids and adults - cooking classes, crafting and cave climbing. Also staff is very kids oriented, my kids loved cooking class and bookmark making. Food for breakfast has a good selection, Grotto is a bit overrated, but still a nice experience. The restaurant next to the pool and Thai restaurant are also good. Infinity Pool is a very chilled and relaxing place, overall hotel doesn't feel busy even if it's fully booked, and the privacy is great.

Grotto restaurant is much smaller than it looks on the website and a little bit pricey, however the food was good and we had a good time. Rooms decor feels outdated, but well maintained. The gym can be improved in the hotel.
