The location, staff and size of the room

Breakfast was really good (Japanese style, but also including yogurt and some other European style food), the location was excellent with free parking around the corner, shops and cafes, and the station close by. Very good value for the price. Rooms comfortable and clean.

- Perfect location, only 3 min walk from Biei station, many food around and there is a souvenir shop&restaurant downstair- big room

- Central location in Biei, few minutes walk from the train station.- I booked a deluxe room with a balcony, it has a very nice view of Daisetzuzan mountains.- The breakfast was very tasty and the staff too.- Every member of the hotel staff was polite and helpful.- The hotel is directly connected to the Oka no Kura shop full of souvenirs and local products - please visit it.- Very comfy beds.

- Only one thing - I did not know that there were two deluxe rooms next to each other in the hotel and the second room was always occupied by families with little kids. This is not a fault of the hotel - this has to be noted. One day there was a family with a toddler, with constant screaming just behind your wall, which is not very nice, especially during the rainy day when you have to work. However, as I mentioned, this is the result of some people being completely insensitive to others, believing that the whole universe belongs to them and their noisy infants.

Really good location, very close to the station. Breakfast was good and included. Room was spacious and comfortable.

The room smelled a little bit of stale smoke which was a little annoying but not a deal breaker.

Modern, comfortable room, quite spacious, all necessary facilities available, tea and coffee making facility (not so common in Hokkaido). Excellent breakfast. Very central location and close to many restaurants

It’s not fair for me to rate it because I usually stay at luxury hotels. We meant to head back home after a one-day trip to Biei from Sapporo but changed our plans and decided to stay overnight. We are happy to have found a vacancy here.

The hotel is wonderfully convenient, just one block from the b i e i train station. The rooms are wonderfully large and spacious, and come with all the amenities like refrigerator, hot water heater, very good AC, and bilingual Japanese NHK news. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is very good, with scrambled eggs, chicken, potato croquettes, salmon, good coffee and orange juice, Etc and the excellent b i e i travel information office is right around the corner, and can help with day trips. The room had the best lighting of any hotel I have had this trip.

One can hear the trains on the nearby tracks a little bit during the day. But I did not hear them at all during the night and I don't think the trains run very late at night, so my sleep was not Disturbed

Beautiful view towards Daisetzuan Park's mountains. Very space room after staying in densely populated Japanese cities before. Free parking lot close to the property.

The breakfast vouchers were somewhat confusing; you were supposed to let them at the table when you leave, but there was no clear way how to get a new one for the next day. Having gotten 1 per day or taking it after you're done would have made more sense.

It's very near Biei JR station and downtown Biei. The room is big and the breakfast was pretty good!

They were very strict with 3pm check in.

Located really well in the heart of Biei, a charming old hotel.

The breakfast was distinctly average and we didn’t even eat at the hotel on the second day. Not many options for restaurants at night - perhaps in summer it’s better?

The place is small and nice, located near the train station and offers breakfast.

I got a smoking room which was a bit suffocating

Breakfast! .We loved the Japanese choices and the local Biei produces and dairy products.

One of the chairs in our room was stained. It should have been cleaned or replaced.

The breakfast is okay nothing special.Lots of parking space if you drive.
