Once Upon The River

Room smelled of mildew and it was seen on the drapes around the bed post.

It is close to the Airport. Rooms are spacious & clean. Staff are very courteous. All in all a really

Very nice stay right on the river and close to the airport. A bit pricey but the rooms are comfortable and the view is pretty from the restaurant.

Location. Nearness to airport. Excellent food

Bad maintenance. AC was not giving out chilled air even when set at 18*C

The people were really nice. The location and the garden are lovely.

The food buffet was oke. The breakfast was more catered for locals.We booked the hotel for the pool. On the day of arrival there were groups of men playing wildly with the ball in the pool. There are not enough sunbeds to chill near the poolside. All other picknick tables near our room were full so we decided to spend our time outside of the hotel compound.Also the shower walls and the walls were really not cleaned well.For this price and luxury standards (with regards to service) i don't understand how they forget to clean these details!

We arrived later than planned, so weren’t able to use the pool etc, but the hotel staff were very friendly, it was in a lovely, well kept garden, on the banks of the river. Very peaceful, and only a 15 min taxi ride through back roads to the airport. The restaurant served really good food, at a very cheap (from a UK perspective) rate. Would recommend / stay again.

The location was good and the staff was super helpful.

The pool was uncleaned, filled with bugs and looked like it had a layer of oil on top. The room had big dark patches in the corners that looked like mold.

Well located for the airport. A calm well maintained haven. Well kept, enthusiastic helpful polite staff.

Only 2 loungers by the pool. We arrived at lunch, I ordered a shrimp cocktail which was 95% sauce. So at dinner ordered a chicken masala…. The chicken was not cooked, had to be sent back… we could’ve been unlucky with our choices … I would stay again… but I would be wary about ordering the food.

The property is tucked away from the main roads, it is serene, beautiful and the service from the start was amazing. The property faces a river and also has a game room where you can play games with your loved ones. The rooms were spacious and clean, and comfortable. The breakfast options were great, and we devoured every bit of it.A lovely stay, would highly recommend!

I was only here for one short night before flying home, but would come again and stay for longer. The gardens are beautiful to walk through and the room is so spacious and comfy! Thank you for a brilliant stay!

The hotel is set in a lovely place in a gorgeous tropical garden by the river. We loved the rooms. The meal was delicious and very good value. We paid the equivalent of about 7 pounds sterling for a full meal for two. We needed to like Indian food as there weren't western options. That was fine as we love Indian Food, and in any case, we were asked how spicy we wanted the food.

Although close to the airport, it took 30 minutes or so to get there in a taxi as the road has many pot holes and quite a lot of traffic. We used the "pre-paid taxi" option in the airport arrivals terminal which worked very well.

This resort has it all. Spacious rooms. Tasty food. A big pool. Nice ambience. Private pool villas. Gaming options like carroms, badminton, cycling, archery etc. We were a group of 18 friends and family and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended for a stay of a large group of people.

A perfect place to relax on the final day of a holiday in India with an early flight the next morning. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful.

Peaceful hotel near kochi airport. Great menu at very reasonable prices. Best food I have tasted in a long while.

An oasis of peace & calm, near the airport, for an early getaway. Our 4 a.m. check out & departure was no problem. Perfect for returning holiday makers, who want to enjoy the last day in a traditional Keralan lodge with a pool.

The staff was nice and were able to provide the support we needed. Food was excellent with amazing options. Rooms were clean.

It was slightly farther than we expected. Took 20 mins from airport.
