The staff are amazing! So friendly and kind. I also loved the garden and pool and the quiet of this residential area.

All the staff were fantastic - George was so helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

For the price, Alfred Place is great value.

I had a wonderful experience at Alfred Place Homestay. The property is clean, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful neighborhood. The rooms were spacious and had all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay.The staff were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place, Great value for money!

The location in Fort Kochi is convenient and the property looks aesthetically pleasing in photos.PS: only in photos but it’s really small and not worth for the price at All!

The property is extremely overpriced for what it offers. I paid €98 for ONE night (over ₹9,700), which is unreasonably high by Indian standards. The place is very small and does not match the photos.The AC did not work the entire night, despite informing the staff no one came to fix it. The shower was also not working, and even the charger ports were faulty. Rooms are located right next to the reception, offering very little privacy. Charging extra for high-speed internet at this price point is disappointing.Just because it’s in Fort Kochi, Alfred place shouldn’t charge this price and give so little!

The location is good, it is centered but not noisy. The room is ok

We stayed 2 nights and they didn’t clean the room and didn’t make the bed. Most of the rooms are in the lobby itself so we can hear all the noise and the conversations .The breakfast was not tasty at all!The pool was dirty.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location was excellent, providing easy access to key spots. The staff were exceedingly friendly, warm, and responsive to every request. A special thanks to George, Justin, and Fahima for being such outstanding hosts and making my experience truly memorable.

I believe the rooms could be improved, particularly with enhancements to the TV, fans in the billiards room, and upgraded toilets, which would significantly elevate the overall experience.

Clean, Budget-Friendly Stay in Prime Fort Kochi LocationI had a great experience staying at Alfred Place in Fort Kochi. Rooms were spacious and gardens well kept

Pool was cloudy the whole time we were there. Only 4 dilapidated sunbeds there and no other chairs.

This property is in a super location. A little oasis in Fort Cochin. We were very impressed with the look of the property and the gardens are well manicured. The ouside space by the pool was delighful. This hotel has the potentional of getting a much higher score if they look at the maintenance of the property.

Sadly there were areas in the hotel that needed improving but I have spoken to the hotel. I wish them well and hope they succeed.

The staff work really hard to make you comfortable and help with advice on where you might visit and how to get there. It's great having the pool too. Breakfast was good, fruit, eggs and toast with coffee, I'd recommend this place.

The pool ?

First night we had the Room 101 behind the reception which was really noisy at night and had a small bathroom. Than we moved into one of the rooms in the gardenbungalow. That was much better ?

Fantastic location near the Periyar reserve, lovely clean room and very friendly staff. A great place to stop!

This is a lovely tranquil place to stay. The gardens are well kept. The pool is a welcoming delight. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful at all times.

There was nothing for us to dislike

Friendly staff and good generous Indian style breakfast. Really charming spot, tucked away but walkable to main sights. Really liked having a pool. Place feels homely.

The space and location and employees

Breakfast was very poor .. in a country with so much fruit they didn't have much fruit or juices .. fruit salad only with banana and watermelon was very sad

Alfred place is located off the main streets in a quiet area. Yet it is within 500mts from the tip of Fort Kochi and most of the historic sites such as St. Francis Church etc. The hotel grounds is quiet, with a lot of tropical trees, nice shade, and a pool.

Lack of cleanliness. The dining tables were not cleaned promptly and the kitchen area did not seem to be cleaned regularly. Service was also not up to what we expected given that Alfred Place says it's a boutique hotel with excellent service.

Beautiful gardens and pool area - was lovely place to relax for a couple of days. Good location, close to sights of Fort Kochi. Helpful friendly staff.
