intercom did not work in the room despite many complaints

Big rooms; good pool; good breakfast spread

Had booked seven rooms. One of the provided rooms was a room for special needs people, which was not required.Limited area within the resort - not much to do within the resort (other than swimming pool)

Breakfast was included as part of our package but the staff did not call that out during check in Ann’s we forgot to read the booking details.

The calm heritage ambience and the overall peaceful feel of the property. The staff were courteous, professional, and genuinely warm throughout the stay. Rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the backwater-facing location added to the relaxed experience while still being close to the city. Breakfast and food options reflected authentic Kerala flavours, which was a nice touch.

Some areas of the property feel slightly dated, and a bit of refurbishment could enhance the overall experience. While the rooms were comfortable, a few modern touches would improve functionality. Food options, though authentic, felt somewhat limited in variety for longer stays.

There was no smoking room so we had to pay extra for smoking in the room. Location isn't that great

The breakfast was very good with a good spread and of good quality. Excellent service and a well-maintained property. We stayed here for just 2 nights as we were headed to Kumarakom.The rooms were spacious enough with good amenities.

The locality is not that great, but the property itself is excellent. A little away from the major sightseeing places but the price and quality makes up for the location.

The breakfast and dinner at the property were good and there were lots of options.

The property isn’t located near any of the main sights and so you need to get a taxi/ tuk tuk everyday. There were lots of building works going on when we were there that we were not warned about and the place was dusty/ a mess. The pool area was a bit run down. A porter kindly took our bags to our room but we didn’t have any change on us at the time to give him a tip and he was very visibly annoyed at us. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Very limited options in buffet breakfast. Regional Kerala cuisine were part of buffet for name sake.

Fantastic place for stay specially with families, slices and quite good for relaxing too , few minutes take to come all important places, and specially all these staffs done great job, Excellent food , I don’t remember all staff name but Anil always know that I need a expresso will be back again

The breakfast spread spread was awesome ! As a family we enjoyed it. The dinner menu buffet spread was also very good. Loved the swimming pool. Well maintained with a staff on duty always present. The gym is also good. The air conditioning was excellent! The lobby area is vast and well designed.

The hotel provides only bottled Bisleri water, of course free of charge. As a hotel that practices sustainability, they should be encouraging the use of RO water to guests and prevent accumulation of plastic water bottles.

The breakfast and dinner buffet was great, a big choice and a good opportunity to test different indian dishes. There were a lot of plants, which was very nice. The price was good. The service at the restaurant was good. The island is quite and close to Fort Cochin.

The staff was not very helpful, when I asked, what we could do in Cochin. The dinner time was with 7:30 pm too late for us. It was loud at the pool, because of some works. There were no opportunities to sit outside in the shadow, except the deck chairs at the pool. There was a restaurant close to the pool, but as soon as the dinner tables were set, we were not allowed to sit there, which was two hours before dinner time srarted, so we could not even sit there, when we were willing to order something.They were willing to order a taxi for us, but then we had to pay three times as much, as would be usual (uber).

Room was spacious. Stayed in this hotel many years ago. I remember it was bustling and busy with very good ambience. Now it is quiet and looks bit dated. Restaurants are very good. Breakfast fare was very good. Staff was polite and helpful. Location is bit depressing. It's in port area with godowns and shipping agency offices around. Willingdon Island is far off location from Marine Driver and Airport.

Hotel looks dated and old fashioned compared to many modern hotels in Cochi. Wish the fish restaurant was air-conditioned.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good sized rooms. Nice restaurant and breakfast. Very much an oasis. The quiet is appreciated.

The pool is too warm to enjoy. Doesn’t refresh in such a hot and humid climate.

Just the location. Wanted to go out after dinner for a walk round but very remote.

Exceptional staff ... friendly and helpful. Very helpful in arranging transits to airport, station etc. Lovely relaxed vibe in the hotel. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Superb breakfast. Delicious meal at their seafood restaurant.

The hotel is a little out of the way and transport to and from the hotel was not that easy particularly at night. It took some time to get to Fott Kochi and other sights.The bar served nice food but was a bit claustrophobic. Otherwise everything was superb.
