Clean hotel in good location.The staff and manager were very helpful, charming people.Good air conditioning

The hotel pool needed to be cleanerThe room has become tatty, cupboard doors hanging off etc. Needs to be renovated.

Big room and good wifi. Staff were really lovely. Location was ok, it was a bit far to comfortably walk to either busy areas for dining, shopping, sightseeing etc. AC worked well, hot water shower was good.

The place needs a bit of maintenance, it's getting a bit run down and needs some investment. The pool was a bit green the first couple of days, but had a good clean during our stay. No windows in the room, but because it's big with high ceilings it was fine. Probably a bit overpriced for what it is.

It was clean and tidy. It has a pool. The staff were very friendly and Matthew on the front desk was super helpful and helped us book our overnight train trip.

There were no sun beds but had table and chairs to relax in.

location is great, staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious. manager was superb. room was cleaned daily.

This property is overpriced for what they offer... Stayed in a superior room and the only thing superior about this room was the size.. Storage cupboards broken, mini fridge didn't work, no ac remote, basic amenities, no shower gel in the bathroom.. Don't bother with breakfast at this place.. Very costly for a basic room

Location is amazing. Walking distance for fort Kochi and around. Everything shuts by 10pm be prepared for late food arrangements. Clean rooms.

The place was great for stay and had all the amenities. It is located very nearby to the ferry and other restaurants.

When we stayed there was renovation going on which was a small hindrance. But overall a great stay

The ambience of the place was amazing. Even though the place could do with some new new paint here and there or a thorough scrub, all of it brought a very special and homely feeling to it all. The wall decorations, the colours, the water separating the two lines of rooms, the swimmingpool,the green area next to the restaurant, and the brilliant location. It must be the best in the fort. It was within convenient walking distance to the Ernakulam jetty and not too far from the Vypin ferry either. Good restaurants nearby, but best of all the silence at night, even though it was a main road outside.The staff was fabulous. All very hospitable and friendly in a casual but still very professional way. We got help with organising a trip to" the backwaters" as well as many other things.They handled every question we had in a professional way. No one mentioned - no one forgotten. A Southindian breakfast was served every morning with a smile, and we could easily get more fruit,curries,juice, coffee, or whatever our cravings were. Every morning, there was a different meal being served. The room was huge, and even though it didn't have any natural light because of no windows, it was nothing we really missed. We spent most of the days out on the streets and loved coming back for a swim in the pool. The pool was the main reason for us to choose Colony Artotel.

It was nothing there not to like.

The rooms do not match the photos. The place is a converted warehouse so there isn’t any natural light and the rooms have really high ceilings making the place feel uncomfortable. There is next to no soundproofing and we were there during Christmas Eve. The noise was tremendous and we could not sleep.

The best place we stayed at in India. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Clean room. Spacious room. Even the soap was nice. The staff gave us great recommendations and ensured we were looked after. The A/C unit worked super well and kept our room cool. Ensuite was lovely and clean. Good shower pressure. Wifi was fast and didn't drop out which was a huge bonus as this wasn't the case at other places in India. Couldn't recommend this place enough

This is a really lovely place. Very calm and serene, and very relaxing. The rooms are huge, with (as explained in other reviews) a converted warehouse feel about them. They are not highly finished, with a bit more of a rough and ready feel to them, which suited us just fine. The air conditioning worked very well, and cleanliness was excellent. The location is really excellent too. Very easy to use it as a base to walk around Fort Kochi. I highly recommend walking too, as most of the main sights within a 30 minute walk (maybe 45 minute walk to Jew town). The place is also very close to two of the ferry terminals, to take you to Ernakulum or some of the other islands. Oh, the staff were also very friendly and very helpful.

Nothing really. As explained above, the rooms are not highly finished like a normal hotel. If this puts you off, maybe look elsewhere. This really suited us perfectly though.

The location is great. Can walk to many things. Rooms are huge. Breakfast is standard south Indian fare, if you like Idiappams & chana for bfast!!!

It's a converted warehouse, so there are no windows. The rooms are huge, almost too huge w/ wasted space. The designer was attempting to be clever with the room design, but in the end just gave up trying. Honestly they could have put some kind of internal skylight, to compensate for the cell like feeling. But other than that, really great place

Room maintenance is poor. It was probably good a few years back, but now they are not maintaining. Hot water was not very good and was lukewarm at best, also water in the shower doesn't drain quickly and overflows in too bathroom

The staff and management went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. From keeping the room clean to providing sumptuous food to arranging for any specific/ special need , the team did it with a smile. Hotel is very close but away for the town bustle .Highly recommend this place

the pool was like a dead insect broth. we told staff but nothing was done. ten minutes with a pool net and this could’ve been a very different review.

The manager Matthew was extremely helpful...sorted all queries quickly and fully. The proximity to everything excellent. Nice swimming pool.Very good breakfasts

Lovely murals on outside of building and in dining room . Would be great to have one on a wall inside, walls a bit stark otherwise.
