    • Clean bathroom Bigger room.Quiet neighborhood Peaceful and clean facilities and outdoor space.Yoga room.Family ownGreat host by owner Great Ayurvedic treatment
    • The hosts make you feel welcome and part of the family. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean and the air-conditioning and fans were all effective in keeping the rooms comfortable. The property is situated on the canal and the gardens contain fruits and nuts which the chefs make use of in their kitchen. All the meals we ate were fresh, delicious and reflective of the dietary needs of our group.Guests can also book an Ayurvedic massage. The hosts also own a business that manufactures natural cosmetics and food products. One of my best experiences in 50 years of travel. If only we could have stayed longer. Thank you Vijay and Vijaya for your hospitality.
    • Very guest oriented place. We felt in the center of the staff universe. Nicely located next to the river where you could do kayaking. Nice very clean swimming pool. Good pure veg food and always freshly cooked. Three meals if you want, otherwise two and afternoons tea. We had joga classes with the owner.Room spacious and clean. Good Ayurveda therapists with various treatments. We felt like rather like being hosted by family then hotel.

    Cons -

    • Can’t think of
    • I would not classify this as a resort as 4 star, but a 1-2 star hotel with a very basic swimming pool. They have added "ayurvedic" to their name to justify it being 4 star hotel. The hotel does not mention they are vegetarian with set menu and meal times. They do not allow alcohol on the premises. The menu is not readily available and changes daily with no communication of what is being served.Staff were unfriendly and lazy when we arrived after 9 pm despite informing them several times. The hotel is very much closed after dinner being served until 8:30 pm. There are no evening activities, areas to sit, let alone a TV or radio in the rooms for entertainment. Also WiFi is very limited and very poor signal. The ayurvedic massage was a very uncomfortable experience. Firstly, there were 2 masseuse, and did not explain much of what was happening. They is no upper body privacy. Both masseuse were discussing my body in their language, and also talking while I was trying to relax. This made me feel very uncomfortable, body conscious and was not a relaxing experience. They did not massage me, almost dripped me in oil and rubbed it in. They finished my massage very early, almost half the time of what was requested. When I complained, they simply said there was misunderstanding on which massage I wanted. It was clearly stated that all 3 members of my party were having the same massage. I was extremely disappointed with how the massage carried out and the masseuse talking loudly and laughing the entire duration. The room was very basic and completely outdated. No privacy when changing in and out of the robe to dispose single thin stringy pants. The hotel is very antiquated and outdated. The rooms are very basic, with minimal bedding and thin mattresses. The room was full of lizards. The products provided are ayurveda and were good, but were not replenished.Overall, I would not rate this as a 4 star hotel but a one star hotel with staff very unfriendly. Think twice
    • The food and the tired state of the garden and garden furniture was disappointing

A VERY DISAPPOINTING STAY- THINK TWICE

    Location. Ambience

Disappointed there weren’t other guests. Lack of choice re vegan requirements. Meals provided but had to be paid for in addition to upfront costs.

Location and newness of the bedrooms & spa facility. Lovely gardens & pool. It was very quiet too. great to meet the owners who were approachable. I enjoyed the canoeing

I signed up to stay via booking.com and would have welcomed more information on Ayurvedic options whilst staying with a pricelist etc.

Peaceful, tranquil, great views. Best described as a wellness retreat. Incredibly spacious, clean & modern rooms. Food is amazing, plentiful, freshly cooked vegetarian food. Staff & Owners are so very kind & helpful, the most hospitable couple. The spa facilities are a must try. All the soaps, shampoos etc are made by the owners in their family business and are exemplary.

There is no alcohol or soft drinks or smoking available ( thankfully) . Plenty of filtered water, teas & coffee available.

The owners are absolutely lovely. Really friendly and welcoming. The pool is just beautiful.

My taxi driver couldn't find it, make sure you use a taxi with a sat nav, my driver didn't even have a smart phone. I used my own google maps but at the end of the lane it tells you that you have arrived - keep going! It is at the end. There wasn't as much to do there as I had expected and very few guests. We did get a yoga session after asking and it was very enjoyable. Couldn't kayak as too dangerous. It is a fast flowing river, not a lake. A cyclone was passing over India so a lot of rain one day.

For our last day of our trip we decided to treat ourselves with a beautiful night at Lasha hotel. What lucky we have been to have this opportunity. The location is stunning in the middle of nature with a beautiful swimming pool in front of the river. Rooms are super clean and equipped with everything you need. We had the rejuvenating Ayurveda massage that was way above our expectations with incredible and professional therapists. But the cherry on top was the much appreciated time spent with the two owners, beautiful kindhearted couple. God bless you.

    Everything was just perfect

I was welcomed very warmly, including the hotel manager already getting in touch with me beforehand. The food (lunch, dinner and breakfast) was excellent and in the afternoon I had a massage that was very rejuvenating. The property is right by the riverside, so there were many nice and scenic points to settle in and read a book. I cannot overstate how nice the staff was, very helpful and genuine. I also met the very welcoming owners, who told me many interesting stories about the hotel and the area, including sharing a lot if advice for my continued travels.

Everything awesome, the owners are a lovely couple that is very friendly and hands on. The rooms are spotless, large, with a beautiful bathroom and many thought through details for a great stay. Their home made soaps have a fantastic scent. The garden is beautiful, with a good size pool and river views.

    Nothing not to like.

This hotel is a little slice of heaven in easy driving distance of Lulu Mall and the Cochin Airport. The hotel is on a river and provides kayaks free of charge to guests. In my less than 48 hours at the hotel I was out on the water three times-both early morning and at sunset. It is paradise if you love nature and birds. After kayaking I jumped into the small, warm and very beautiful pool that overlooks the river. The hotel is so peaceful it is hard to describe but my favorite part of staying there was meeting the owners Vijay and Vijaya. I wish they would write their memoirs-I could not get enough of hearing about them! I am especially grateful to Vijay for taking the time to give me a tour of Holy Llama Natural factory where he makes natural and wonderful cosmetics (they are in your hotel room too!). He is brilliant and fascinating and lovely and his wife is a sweetheart. In this sense it feels like a cross between a homestay and a hotel.

I think there could be more breakfast options and at this pricepoint I would include breakfast. Staff doesn't speak much English but were very helpful.

Lhasa Ayurveda & Wellness Resort was a haven of tranquility after being in the busy towns and cities of India. The lovely couple who run the retreat were extremely welcoming whilst giving space to just be! The surroundings were beautiful, the rooms were simple but very comfortable and the toiletries were pure and smelled delicious!

    Nothing could have been better!

    10LeahPosted on: 1-27-2024

It was the most welcoming and warm place I could imagine! The owners take such care and attention for all of their guests and I truly felt like they wanted to do as much as possible for my stay. I was unwell on one of the days unfortunately and they looked after me like family! It really helped knowing there were people around me to help and they did everything they could. The sunset kayak was amazing!

    Nothing!

    10DebbiePosted on: 1-26-2024

Everything! Staff, accomodation, pool, food were excellent

    Nothing, it was all amazing.

    9DominiquePosted on: 1-26-2024
