    Pros +

    • The staffs are very attentive to the guests and always ask if there is anything they can do to help. The breakfast was epic and super delicious!
    • Efficient check in, good vibe
    • Nice a relaxing atmosphere, a bath, and shower. Great view, of the river. Helpful car parking guy, bags carried to room. Good food, Thai and Western. Good coffee in room :).

    Cons -

    • Nope. It was exceptional.
    • Food so so, small portion, service slow specially restaurant is busy.
    • All ok, but we did sleep wrong end of the bed, as aircon right above, your head. Also long trousers for dining. And mosquito repellent needed for feet if wearing sliders…

I like something extras like welcome drinks, baitoey drink to cool down, breakfast that I don't have to walk to buffet line. Plus the weather today is not hot, we can enjoy riverside without sweating.

There should be more parking lot.

Truly impressed from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out. The service was exceptional, and the entire place is impeccably maintained. The team radiates such positive energy—it really elevated our stay! Breakfast was delicious and made even more memorable by the incredible view. I especially loved how the hotel’s modern architecture blends seamlessly with the rustic charm of Ayutthaya. Highly recommend this gem!

RestaurantDinner menu and wine menu options were very good, as was the food and service. Drink prices on the steep sideBreakfast options were lacking and service was slow, especially when it came to coffee top-upsRoof Terrace loungeExcellent service and a good selection of drinks, but again, the drinks were expensiveFood options a bit gimmicky. Definitely tailored towards youngsters. Lots of people visit for photosBedoomBed was comfortable but not the pillows. There was a ceremony of sorts on arrival, where you can choose your pillow type and what scent for your soap. Nice idea, but having you stand at reception after many hours travelling doesn't work. There's plenty of space in the room next door, if they bothered putting a chair or two in there? The pillows all felt the same to me, so not sure what the point was. There's aircon in the bedroom, but it's very, very loud. The fridge is full of stuff you'll never buy because the prices are eye-watering. As a consequence, there's nowhere to put water. I thought stocked fridges were a thing of the past? There are two 500ml bottles of water in the room. After that, they expect you to pay something like US$5 for additional bottles. Decent hotels these days supply you with as much water as you can hope to consume. There were 4 coffee pods for 2 of us, 3 tea bags, no milk, and a few sugars. We carry our own supply of coffee sachets and the teas we like for exactly this situation. The supplied kettle was put to good use.SpaThere isn't one. You can arrange a massage on your bed, but as we both wanted one, that wouldn't work. If one of you wants a massage, there's nowhere for your partner to sit. There are no chairs in the room. There's a lounger on the (very small) terrace outside, but no shade / umbrella. The temperatures were approaching 100 degrees. There are no massage facilities near the hotel that we could see, and we walked half a mile in both directions.

The room had a lovely bath. Unfortunately, the plug didn't fit too well, so it took half an hour to fill enough to use, and then you hd to leave the tap running slowly to keep it topped up.There are no drawers for clothes. You have no choice but to live out of your suitcase. There are a few hangars on an open rail.No shade on the terraceOverstocked fridge; too little waterNo river access. There's a temple complex 100m across the river from the hotel, but the hotel has no shuttle boat.

Stunning property on the river. Incredible design. I think we had one of the smallest rooms and it was beautiful.

    7RaphaelPosted on: 2-22-2025

Great views and nicely furnished rooms. Very good breakfast.

Our biggest downside was that value for money did not match. The bar/lounge area was closed for renovation which we were not notified about. We did not feel very welcomed by the staff at the reception.

Great location, room perfect for 3 people, restaurant food was excellent, hotel organised boat trip was great

A mistake taking our dinner order resulted in an hour delay to eating. But the food was great

    Stunning river front views

I didn’t think the price point was right. Overpriced for Thai hotel so not good value at all. Staff were lovely though and keen to please. I think it is a mistake to charge 10% for service on the minibar - not that we used it. Nice design features but shame pool wasn’t located in river front and it was very difficult to use the outside terrace of our room as the stairs were very dangerous so I wouldn’t recommend this place for kids. Two hotels either side with the same view and maybe better price. Restaurant was also overpriced but I guess that is their money spinner because of the views.

Superb location overlooking the river and the staff were very willing though some of the waiting staff had very poor understanding of basic EnglishAir con was good. The view from our room was remarkableThe bed was very comfortable indeed and the bedlinen of good quality and the right weight.

The design of the rooms was very contemporary but very impractical Little storage space. Lighting in the bathroom where there was only one mirror, it was impossible to see oneself Shave/ do your hair/ put on makeup. Fortunately I had a cheap illuminated battery operated mirror which assisted. I suggest the management install an electric lit mirror. Also there was no full length mirror which is another missing essential. There was no lock on the loo door!In all the architect and interior designer should hang their heads in shame.

Really cool hotel in a fantastic location on the east bank/Ayutthaya side of the Chao Phraya River opposite the Wat Phutthaisawan - see all our "so-called artistic" photo variations of that Wat, taken directly from our room!!Quite a physically large room with beautiful aesthetics, a massive bath, generous shower and huge day bed. Magnificent floor to (high) ceiling window. A very nice Marshall Bluetooth speaker was awesome for playing our music through. The staff were super friendly and helpful with city directions etc.The restaurant out the back on the river has excellent food, is directly adjacent to the river and a really nice view of the Wat/s on the other side.Pool area is pretty, albeit small and exposed to most rooms overlooking it along with the semi-public walkway to the restaurant, if you like to show-off yourself at the pool area - then it's perfect!

Whilst the room was overall pretty spectacular, it was equally not very functional! LOLThe basin bench was tiny, no space to put all the toiletries etc. Very small space for opening (one only) carry-on-sized suitcase, our two main suitcases we just opened on the main floor around the bed that subsequently got in our way often. No cupboards/draws to unpack clothes or anything, again spread our things on the floor/suitcases. A small hanging rail above the tiny suit case shelf had only a few hangers and not enough height for pants/dresses. There was one small potential 'make-up/desk' but no mirror and no storage/shelves etc.The restaurant, I mentioned earlier, also provided direct views from multiple diner's tables up into our room - which was a weird feeling! We could of course choose to close the block-out blinds ...but that defeats the whole purpose of paying extra for the beautiful "River View" room. The toilet room was very curious, as the door opened inwards and barely cleared the toilet, we are both skinny but I doubt any larger person could actually close the door behind themselves, and leaving the door open it would rest annoyingly against your leg LOL!However the outside of the toilet door was covered with a full length mirror which is handy...There was only one towel hook in a semi-convenient position between the bath and shower areas - plus a ladder-like-wall-rack that made hanging a towel an inconvenient time consuming challenge - think "trying to thread a rope through the eye of a needle"!The basin drain became blocked on our second morning (rare unlucky occurrence only I assume?)The bed was very hard and disagreed with my back, waking up very sore both mornings - my personal issue. All those things are minor in isolation and one can deal with all that for a short stay but would probably become tiresome for more than the two nights we spent.

Stunning interior design & views. Good food, excellent breakfast, very pleasant staff.

It was lovely to have a cold splash pool but it was no more than that & to get there from our rooms you needed to walk through the restaurant which felt a little awkward in a bikini & towel

The view is insuperable! Breakfast is absolutely delicious and hotel facilities are stunning.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I had dinner in the hotel, and at 9:15 more less, staff were picking up everything, like they want clients to leave

    8MeiPosted on: 11-29-2024

The picturesque view from the hotel(room) and incorporated the architecture elements of Ayutthaya’s architecture

The water pressure and hot water temperature

    8GregPosted on: 11-27-2024

Loved the restaurant on the waters edge

I felt the pool area was very exposed and needed to be isolated from adjacent rooms. Also the roof top bar although nicely done needed to be open to the river as it felt closed in.

    9JacobusPosted on: 11-19-2024

Stylish rooms. The architecture of the nearby temples is reflected in the design. Beautiful view over the water and the temple area. Clean comfortable beds and friendly staff.

Amazing big room Extremely unusual architectural design Beautiful dining sceneryLoved how breakfast was served

Ayutthaya was the 3rd of 4 destinations in our holiday so we had two large suitcases however room had absolutely no shelving or drawers

The authenticity of the building really tied in with the ancient city. Loved the terrace and the rooftop bar.

    Nothing!
