Staff were very helpful. Nice location.

We chose the cheaper room which was very basic. Had holes in the roof and a flimsy door. It was cheap but we have got nicer places for that value previously. If staying I would recommend to go for the upgraded room.

the staff was very friendly and willing to help with everything. we could rent a scooter, they helped us arrange further transport. Nice hot shower!

The bed sheets had a few burning spots, might be ready for a replacement.

The stuff is very friendly, always available to help and they kept us company in the evening having great conversations. If you go to Tuktuk this will be a great choice :)

This is my second time staying at Laster Jony's and I am happy I went back. Staff is amazing, the location right on the lake is beautiful, calm and quiet. And I loved the food as well. Thank you very much! I will return when I'll have the chance.

Beautiful big room with door straight to the lake, private toilet with really hot shower, good location and amazing atmosphere. Hamlet and his brother are always playing guitar and singing nice songs. Also, theres cold beer on the bar, and cats and a puppy. What else could one ask for? :)

Scooter rent..They didn't tell me that scooter rent start from morning till 6 pm. I must pay 2 days rent

The balcony was relaxing in the morning with cool view of the lake and greenish things. The late night live music show was awesome. You guys are crazily awesome. The motorbike rental also recommended for travelling around the wisata. Cheers!

Maybe an extra router for the wifi to reach the room area could be helpfull.

Friends of music, guitar concerts, jam-sessions, friendly atmosphere and late evening chattering, welcome ! The musicians are very talented, beautiful voice, nice guitars. Staff is extremely nice. Food is delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Situation on the lake is optimal. We had an old Batak house that is worth living in. A recommendable place indeed

Friends of silence and of quiet nights, this is not a place for you. By the time the concert finishes (from 21.30 to 1.00 am, every one of the 2 nights we spent there), youre so desperately in search of sleep that you dont even listen to the beautiful rumors of the night. This is when the hotel host begin, beer helping, to talk and laugh loud. Which gets you to sleep at about 2.00 o clock... If you can. This is why, in spite of the initial 3 nights reservation, we finally spend the last night in Parapat. That is probably the only inconvenient of that charming place

Very friendly and honest, the family who run the guesthouse. Excellent food in very cheap prices. Live music every night for free, but if you sleep very early, may be is annoying for you.Nice place with lake view and also a bit far from the street , so , enough quite.

Bad smell in the bathroom from the drain. Water get inside from the roof, (fortunately only in the bathroom), after heavy rain

What I love most about this place is the surrounding environment. The place is strategic with the view of the lake just right in front of you. In the morning, you will be waking up with the sound of birds chirping

Make sure you bring mosquito repellent because theres a lot of mosquitos here...

Great place to stay! 'Around the corner' from the noise, but close to all you need.Very good food directly in the guesthouse, motorbike to rent.The room was huge.The staff is very kind and helpful, also very good musicians!

Good for value. Nice staff that help us with the bus to Bukkitingi. Good place to stay and relax in the shore of lake Toba. Big room and bathroom with hot water in a batak house.You can also enjoy live music.

For me the acoustic music that the staff was playing at night was a bit loud but I think all other guests loved it.

The stairs is not very safe down to the room.i book batak house but they change it with standard room and add the extra mattress with the same price.no heater.water heater is ok.got hot water.very limited furniture inside the room
