Urbanview My Grand Hotel Bogor

Pros +

• The location is very strategic, close to main road, convenience store, some food stalls and quite close to taman safari.
• The hotel location is next to the main road giving easy access to many eateries and mini markets. However, it was very noisy. The seating area outside the room was nice.
• good and nice cleaning

Cons -

• We stayed at family suite, expecting to get two beds, but the sofa bed is already worn and we cannot sleep on that. The cleanliness is really awful, some garbage from the previous guests were still left behind and I don't think the room was cleaned properly. There was a cheaper accommodation with better quality. I also think that the hotel is understaffed.
• Staff were unhelpful and communications were near zero as no one spoke English, and communicating through Google translate was not easy.The bed was awful as you feel the mattress spring digging at your body, the bed linen was not clean and grubby, with mosquitoes flying around and feasting on my flesh which made it impossible for me to sleep.The toilet was really filthy, smelly and the sink leaked badly, and the awful smell radited through out the room. There were ants and cockroaches around!We stayed in room 103 in the block leading to the main road where the traffic never stops 24/7!!With hindsight, I wish I have paid more and booked a decent and clean room in another hotel, though I'm not sure about the standard and quality of hotels in the area of Cisarua/Puncak, and the correctness and accuracy of hotels' and rooms descriptions and pictures. as stated on Booking.com.
