Sanco Inn Numazu Ekimae

It's a great location; just a few minutes from the station and a nearby convenience store (Family Mart). We went there over the New Year's holidays so the surrounding stores weren't open (only a few) but if it was there would be a lot of choices where to eat as there is the hotel is right next to a shopping plaza.The lobby was at the 3rd floor of the building. There's no early check-in but they offer to hold on to our luggage while we explored outside to wait for the check-in time. There's a pillow bar where you can choose your pillow fillings.

The double bed room is quite small (but not unexpected). If you had a medium or large suitcase, there wouldn't be place to fully open it and have room to walk around it. The CR/Shower smelled musty. We had the staff change the shower curtain but the smell still persisted. We didn't want to change rooms because it was such a hassle.

It's not clean. The first time I stayed there, I found someone else's feces in my bathroom, and the second time I stayed, there was cockroach in my room.What a wonderful experiences.

I did not have breakfast, but I used their free coffee. The free coffee and vending machine in lobby was helpful.

The room was very small so it was difficult to use when both guests were in the room.

Receptionists are kind and polite.

Rooms are very narrow, no closet. Bathroom is extremely small and not well cleaned. There was no ventilation fan in bathroom, it was filled with water vapor. The drainage was stuck with hair. I do not recommend if you have baby or toddler. My son slipped in the bath and his gum was bled.

The location is right next to Numazu station, where one can take a train or bus ride around Numazu. Quiet location and the residents are friendly around the area. The view from the upper floor is pretty great, and you could definitely see Mount Fuji from the distance if the weather condition is good enough. I highly recommend the hotel if you're planning to visit Aqours sightseeing.

I loved the location, helpfull and kind staff and the amenities (you can choose your own pillow).Only dislike is the small double beds. They mentioned this clearly beforehand. If possible upgrade to a room with a better bedding option.

Good business hotel in the centre of town.Rooms good,staff excellent.I'm not a fan of Japanese style breakfasts,so a bit more variety for breakfast would be nice.

Proximity to subway was alright.

No thermostat nor ac remote. Only low med or hi for heat. Unable to open window.

The hotel is located in a very central part of the city, close to the train station. The bedrooms are small, but comfy. Toilet is good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff members where all really helpful and polite. This was my second time staying in Sanco Inn!

We could too easily hear our neighbours.

Location was near metro station.

We left our backpacks 2x in storage before and after check in/out times. When we needed our Osprey pack covers after we left they were missing from the pockets, so not sure what happened to them while in storage. Sadly they were brand new and we didn't even get to use them!

The location was central for Numazu station with many options for cafes and restaurants.

The room was bright and clean. The aircon worked well. There was a "pillow bar" at the hotel where guests could choose the type of pillow they wanted to use. Very conveniently located!

The room was a little small, but that's pretty standard for Japanese business hotels, so it didn't really bother me.

Located a short walk from Numazu station, and off of the main shopping street - excellent location. Breakfast had a good selection (and their mini hambagu were fantastic). Laundry facilities and vending machine were available, and amenities like toothbrushes, etc, were available in the lobby.The air con was centrally controlled, but you could choose the strength. I found this system worked well and it was always a comfortable temperature in the room.As an Aqours fan, I enjoyed that there were stands of the characters in the lobby and restaurant, and the staff had a small display for Chika's birthday.

The room was smaller than expected (I had just come from Tokyo where I'd had a bigger room), and you couldn't fit a suitcase under the bed.

Great location, relatively spacious room with a nice view, clean, excellent cost performance, and enjoyed the free coffee throughout the day.

Desk chair did not have a back and was a little hard making working for long hours a little uncomfortable.

The hotel is a three-minute walk from Numazu station (visible from certain rooms). The staff were very informative on check-in and friendly. The hotel also provided lots of amenties, such as different firmness pillows, toothbrushes etc. Additionally, lots of Love Live! Sunshine cutouts and products at the Reception
