Happy Q Motel

The location was good and close to the Mask Dance festival park.

The motel did not have an elevator and we had to carry the suitcase 4 stories. The shower did not have a curtain (this is something we have encountered in Korea a few times) and the floor got flooded.

Staff doesn't speak a word of English and, even with translators, they are not happy/keen on helping, almost rude in their manners. Cleaniness was lacking and there were a lot of weird people at the location, we decided to stay just for the night and then leave early morning as fast as possible. I do not recommend.

Great buffet breakfast included, consisting of a freshly fried egg, cereal, toast, noodles, juice, tea/coffee etc. Our room was very spacious and clean/comfortable with a tv. We liked having a fridge in our room, and there was also a computer to use if needed. Great location for sightseeing and for the market.

Spacious and comfy room, convenient location for visiting the main sights in Andong, simple but enjoyable free breakfast, and nice staff/owners. The lady actually let us use their washing machine free of charge which was a very nice surprise. Pretty good value overall.

The shower isn't separated from the rest of the bathroom, so all the floor will be wet after showering. This is annoying but apparently common in Korea and I wouldn't consider it a dealbreaker considering the price.

The place is very conveniently located, you can walk everywhere in the city. The room is good size, a bit worn off but for the location and price it works well.

Staff was very helpful with providing information via booking.com. The motel had plenty of parking space. There is no elevator, so you have to carry up your bag.Room is a bit dated, but it was fine for a night. There are e few restaurants near. But nothing else. Andong is boring.

There's a very basic breakfast of toast and spreads plus tea/coffee included which is welcome as there are not really any other options around.

Bed is not very comfy and check in is not until 4.00 as the hotel seems to be a MOTEL which means it is for "couples". Hence the condoms in the room. However, due to it being listed in the Lonely Planet guide to Korea there are plenty of other mistaken tourists.

Really central location with a big room. Bed was a bit soft and uncomfortable but other than that great stay for the price. Breakfast was included - cereal toast, noodles and eggs.

Great free breakfast and very friendly staff and buses and markets just down the street

We really liked the room, it was big, really confortable and clean. TV was working great as well! Breakfasts were included and really nice in the morning: egg, bread, cereal, noodles, juice, coffee. The location is nice near a really great market and close to all buses stops.

Very good quality for money, the room was big and the floor heating was very nice as it was cold outside. The breakfast was good and the hostess even fried us eggs. The hotel was quite close to the city center. We were there in the off-season so there weren't many guests.

The bed was a bit hard for my taste, but my friend enjoyed it, so it is a matter of taste. The staff didn't really speak English but we managed to communicate with apps.

Disappointing

This motel is an Interphone and heater to bed.

This is a sweet small hotel managed by a kind couple. The apartment we stayed in was spacious, clean and comfortable. The couple kindly helped us to take the luggage upstairs. The hotel is in a quiet street in a quaint part of town bear the markets - we loved our time there.

My designated room was comfortable and clean, and the host was very friendly. Overall, a good value motel in a decent location.

Loved this quirky motel/hotel. Spacious rooms. Family run, very friendly. The help yourself breakfast was very good. Location, near a local market, and numerous buses to town, and the bus/train interchange. Plenty of restaurants, convenience stores and take away food nearby.

Interesting concept the small towels- but fun to use.

Very good room

No elevator, it was hard to walk with heavy luggage upstairs and downstairs several floors.

The location was good. We got water everyday. The room size is good. There is also breakfast. The owners working there seemed nice.

The breakfast is very basic with very limited choices. The blinds don't open all the way, so it was a bit dark in the room. The window also, both seems to be the design.

Very hard bed and tiny towels

The hotel is very well located next to a traditional market. It is on a back street so there was no noise.The room was big and clean.It was was our best value stay and included egg for breakfast.Friendly smiley staff.
