Lao Poet Hotel

Staff was excellent, as was the location. Rooftop pool and cafe was the perfect oasis from the midday heat. Great one of a kind property.

No. Loved it.

Not a 4 star hotel. Dark and dank room.

Location. Nice staff

Location wise it was very good with lots of local shops, markets and walkable to the night market.

The hotel is 3 star at best and the images look way nicer than the rooms themselves which are quite dark. I'd also suggest to take earplugs to sleep in silent at night!

Very friendly staff, loved the decor of my room, and the breakfast menu was varied (and not a buffet!)

Localtion is great, room has a good size and it is comfortable with a space to work. Breakfast really good and staff very good.

The only downside is that it doesn't have a gym

Lovely hotel. Comfortable and clean. Design is inviting and fun. Breakfast was great. Could have sat for hours in the restaurant; it was comfortable and inviting. Pool area is small but nice.

My room was rather dark. There wasn't much natural light due to the direction it faced. The opposite side of the hall had beautiful natural light in the morning.

The location was great. The morning was also good.

It is quite dim even if you put on all the lights. I prefer lighter rooms, so I was glad that I was staying for only one night. If you are planning to read books, your eyes could get bad. Also, the shower doesn’t get that hot.

Great location, quiet, good value.

Bed was very hard and not so comfortable.

The boutique hotel surpassed all expectations: centrally located (close to food market) but in a quiet and 'green' street, spacious room, high value breakfast (crispy baguette :-) ). Nice swimming pool on the roof, with a good view on town. helpful staff at reception.

Excellent service, great breakfast and spacious room!

We loved this hotel, got an upgrade to a superior room which was nice. Pool is great and excellent views from the roof top. Breakfast was great with great options. Lovely decor and the design of the hotel was beautiful, Location close to lots of shops, restaurants etc. Would stay here again.

Nothing I can think of.

very good breakfast and quiet swimming pool, staff very nice , love the room .

It’s nice clean amd cozy and well designed with friendly and caring staff

There is a very nice roof top to see the city and nice sunrise with a good food

Bed was perfectly comfortable. Pool was special and relaxing. The coffee was excellent.

Great location. Very nice breakfast. Nice roof top pool.So well trained and very friendly stuff.

Hot water comes and goes a bit so you have to watch not to birn yourself or freeze.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, thoughtfully decorated, very clean, centrally located, lovely helpful staff.

Lovely hotel with modern, well-appointed, and comfortable rooms. The rooftop bar and pool are great! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was running late to catch my train and they helped me call a taxi very quickly. Thank you so much!!

the central location, ideal for sightseeing and still quiet room- the really friendly and helpful staff- the fact that I could move into my room already before check-in time, very much appreciated after a night train's journey from Bangkok to the Thai-Lao border- the pool and the view from the rooftop terrace- the tasty breakfast a la carte with a rich choice

nothing to mention

Great location, great decor, spacious room, warm friendly and helpful staff, rooftop pool.

No option of oat or soy milk at breakfast or to substitute in tea/coffee.

Rooms is very stylish and also very clean to even Western standards. Bed is really comfi!

No parasols at the pool to protect one from the scorching sun during daytime.
