Peaceful Hotel

Good location, you can walk anywhere. The breakfast was amazing, good way to start the day. Hotel staff were very friendly.

Bed bugs. Could be cleaner. Pool was ok but no comfortable chairs to relax in. Sunbathers were laying on the concrete.

Good location for central Vientiane with close, walkable proximity to many sites, including night market.

Cleanliness could be improved, TV was decoration only (no remote available so no way to use it), no hand soap, noisy on street outside window, no water in room (toilet, sink or shower) for over two hours -wasn’t fixed until I threatened to move to new hotel and demanded money back.

Staff were good in difficult circumstances

The hotel is falling apart, the bathroom in my room smelled very bad, I asked them to check it out which they tried but not work. I had to change room.The swimming pool was in poor condition, no sun beds either

The location is good, but apart from that, I’m not too impressed. Breakfast is limited — just three types of fruit, one slice of toast, and hot water for instant coffee. You end up paying a high price for the performance they offer.

Staff do not greet guests at breakfast, and the manager walks past without making eye contact. The internet connection is poor; to get a decent signal, you have to sit outside on the terrace.The place is fine if you simply want to unwind, and the location alone adds a couple of points. Other than that, there are better places to stay.

Only location is good and beds are OK.

It is falling apart, breakfast is miserable, most rooms are without windows. Pool is under permanent construction. We booked king room with terrace, and paid for it, they tried to put us in windowless and smaller room, of course we refused. Finally we got room with window. Only helpful person was night manager.

Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly, always available and willing to help. Room was very very big.

Wifi signal could be better. Music was coming probably from outside the hotel for many hours on my last night. Room door was a little bit problematic.

Good Location and helpful staff. Particularly the staff member from Philippines who went out of her way to solve a problem.

Old, first two rooms smelled bad, sewer etc. we insisted on better rooms. Finally after seeing 3 rooms we found an adequate one. Breakfast was so so. The rooms we were booked in definitely did NOT resemble the photos.

Quite basic breakfast. The pool was next to the parking lot and looked dirty - certainly not for swimming. The room window opening to a public space.

Not clean in general. Hair in the shower. Toilet seat dirty and broken. Leak in the bathroom water was falling from the roof. NO WINDOW!!! Only the frame but no glass!!!???Van booked for 5 and they ordered a car. We almost missed our flight because of this mistake. Not serious at all

The staff were very friendly. We discovered that renovation work was going on in a nearby block so we requested to change the room, which the office staff accommodated, thank you!

Payment system seems to have some hiccups because online payment which we had done prior to travel didn't seem to have been received in the system so we had to pay again. Suggest this issue to be fixed.

Reception staff were nice. Location was good. Room was quite big and very neat and clean.

Wifi was not working. Requested many times at the reception but they couldn't solve the problem. Breakfast was very simple and it was not worth as per the value of the room. Mosquitoes were flying in the room.

Huge pool, very large but dated rooms, good location for accessing the riverside restaurants and night market, very accommodating staff (all from the Phillipines!).

Massive noisy construction going on all around the hotel started 6am every morning. Stinky bathroom (smelt of sewerage the whole stay), really basic breakfast, really terrible lighting in the room.

This hotel is perfectly located to explore the city. It is located in a safe part of town, walking distance from the street food night market, from the riverside, from the temples, and is very close to a supermarket that is open 24/7. It has a beautiful courtyard with a very big swimming pool. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and quiet. The overall value of the stay for the cost is great. The added value in my opinion is the staff. They are extremely friendly, and go the extra length to help you. I tore a hole in my favorite jacket, and no place in town would agree to fix it. My hosts at Peaceful Hotel offered to take my jacket during their break to take it to a tailor, who fixed it very quickly and for a reasonable price. Highly recommended stay, thank you for everything!

Very old building, bad breakfast if compared with the room price - disappointed and not recommended. With this price, pls choose other hotel. The actual room is not same as the photo on website ??

Friendly, helpful staff, great location, quiet. Cozy pool area and yard for relaxing. Slept well.

Not as shown in the photos. Left after one night and wouldn’t book again.Room was clean but worn. Peeling wallpaper, strong air freshener, and no outlet for the fridge. Wifi also dropped frequently.Bathroom was the main issue. Unsafe wiring and sockets under the shower head, slow drainage, no glass cabin or hangers like shown in the listing.

It was near restaurants. The Filipino receptionists are very accommodating and helpful. One went out her way to assist me with everything I needed.

The door is quite difficult to open. The wifi is slow. The breakfast is all the same everyday.

No elevator and I’m disabled. But the staff were more than accommodating
