Melia Yangon

The hotel staff are exceptionally professional and courteous. The receptionists, Nandar and Chae Chae, significantly enhanced my experience at Melia Yangon.

The staff is friendly, very helpful and pleasant that creates a good vibe, the room is great and the view is wonderful! A good place to stay!

First thank you Ms. Nandar and Mr. Oscar at the reception - very professional, welcoming and the best of the best in their work. Melia Yangon is lucky to have them both! The Breakfast at the Hotel was nice with plenty of selections!

i loved everything

Super clean and nice hotel. Great amenities. Will come again! Very nice restaurant!

The room and views were excellent. Breakfast selections were outstanding. Staff members assisted in every way.

I pay 110usd plus 60 usd for extra bed but the room air conditioning is not work properly I ask to repair and the staff come look not able to repair they just say it is ok and very very hot at night cannot not sleep well . The other things is go to restaurant at first floor for dinner and have a very bad experience during our time at restaurant there is only one table in the whole restaurant the food order took more than one and half hours cannot believe not even a single people eating at the restaurant don’t know why take that long very very bad experience for me complain to the staff they don’t take any action

Bed , Breakfast

Butter in the breakfast , taste not good ,comparing to last year I visited.

Fantastic breakfast buffet, very helpful staff, great gym with lots of equipment and a nice pool. The rooms are big, modern design, and there's both a desk and a separate couch. The bathrooms are spacious and moden. Good value for money.

The fridges are very small and do not cool down sufficiently to store e.g. food.

Breakfast was just astonishing. So many choices, selection of many kind of food, vegetables, fruits, bread, chinese, asian food. Just great !! Very good café. Nice and very polite staff - waitresses .

Leak troubles in bathroom. Not well sealed doors for shower. Full bathroom of water after every shower I take. Often weak connection of Internet - Wifi. Should be better for common use.

Good breakfast, friendly staff

Close to shopping mall/food courts

Location, gym, pool

High prices in restaurants what is actually usual in that level hotels.

Clean. Spacious room. Located just across a mall (Myanmar Plaza) and overlooking Inya Lake. Very accommodating staff.

Superb location with nice shopping mall adjacent to the hotel made it so convenient and comfortable to drop by for informal meetings and meals. Dining at the Market was also enchanting with its delicacies and their staff were well attentive and professional in handling service. I enjoyed the privacy at high class. Room amenities were sufficient. Lighting and electrical sockets were sufficient. Overall 10/10.

Modern full service 5 star hotel. Elegant common areas, spacious room and hallways. Well maintained and staffed with thoughtful polite and efficient employees. Great location loction near downtown and the airport. Myanmar Plaza attached which is a clean mall offering many food and shopping options. Really good diverse breakfast buffet offering world class service. Our room had a fantastic view of the Shwedagon Pagoda.

What an amazing great hotel! Brand new hotel, but already excellent trained staff. This is quite unbelievable how good the guest experience is - thank you Carlos and the rest of the staff. Reception staff, (breakfast) restaurant people very friendly, service oriented and talkative / interested. Breakfast top three of my hotel visits ever (and I have visited quite some high quality places ;)). Nice spacious rooms, very clean, good bathroom and superb views on Lake Victoria.

No negative comments!, which is quite unbelievable for such a new hotel. Great staffing (and training)! Thank you Carlos and staff for the superb guest experience.

It is a very good hotel with nice restaurants and good service. Recommending for business trips.
