Hotel Heritage (formerly known as Comfort Inn Heritage)

wonderful hotel, exceeded my expectations - clean rooms - great buffet included in price - amazingly friendly and helpful staff (at all levels from the doorman to the manager) - painless checkin/out.

- the free wifi advertised, is an unencrypted open wifi where people can sniff and steal passwords (should be made clear in the description) esp for senior people who may not know the difference.

Service is excellent. Location was ideal if you need to be near Byculla.

Cleanliness and maintenance. First room had water logged in the shower. Second one had poor wifi signal. AC controls were too complicated.

The facilities were clean and the food was decent. Right in front of Gloria Church

The rooms were tiny like dorm rooms. The first room was a smoking room that smelled awful. The location was next to a train stop and I kept hearing noises all night of trains and firecrackers. The beds were tiny as well.

Breakfast was good. Buffet/ Floor manager was a nice person, accommodated us well. Breakfast has a good range of selection of foods with western/ Indian style cousins. They provide you with hot tea/ coffee/ Chai and different types of Dose, Omelets at request. In room dining has a good range and they service food till 11.00 p.m. at night.

Right at the check in, like 4.00 A.M in the morning the Hotel demanded that we pay additional amounts, which did not matched with the prices already informed by booking.com. People at the reception were very rude. They were not considerate of the situation that we were exhausted after a long air travel, even though we had two ladies as our crew at the time of check-in. Butlers are expecting us to pay tips for their help, even though its very late at night.

Location was excellent. Central to everywhere we wanted to go. Breakfast was good. Need to add a bit more continental food.

Bathroom, Good water flow in shower both hot and cold, Good Lobby, Nice cleanliness and good staffs.

The Room facility is mentioned as with Queen Bed, But it is two small beds joined together and it feels discomfort.

This hotel is a gem in the heart of Mumbai. Very clean , with courteous staff and impeccable service. Our stay was stress free and a breeze. The location is fantastic , with close proximity to lots of places of interest and shopping. The place is surrounded by eateries offering good food. A stay at the Heritage gave us a true mumbai experience and we enjoyed thoroughly. Highly recommended.

All of the staff we met were amazing and went out of their way to help.The location was perfect for the weekend event we were attending and the room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed.

Not a big thing but the mattress was very firm.

Food was good , cleaned rooms and staffs are also good .

The washrooms were leaking from the ceiling.It was smaller in size and rooms right at the end were noisy with dogs barking the whole night.

I liked the location as it ws close to the place which I wanted to visit. very pleasant staff. Nice food at the restaurant at very reasonable price. Very nice breakfast.

Good location for seeing the amazing rail terminus, the Taj Palace hotel and the India gate.

The area around the hotel is not great if you want to go out for a wander around.

This is a budget hotel in a little bit of a local area. Right near a train station that is only 3 stops from main station, and there are some restaurants around. There is only one floor that has completely no smoking rooms. The first room I was given was not on this floor, but they moved me to it. A bit of a quirky building design: all of the windows of the rooms look out onto a corridor that then has windows along the front of the building. The rooms are raised a little to give some privacy, but I had my curtains across most of the time. This lack in privacy is compensated by the rooms having NO traffic sounds whatsoever. The breakfast was decent. The staff were friendly.

There is only one floor that has completely no smoking rooms. I messaged the hotel before I went requesting this, but the first room I was given was not on this floor, but they moved me to it. The sockets in the room were only the 3 round india sockets, except for one in the bathroom. even my UK converter that many other places in India have wouldn't work.

Awful hotel, awful area its in, staff are just working there no real manners and basically for the same price would have got a far better hotel. We stayed out all day because we didn't want to go back there
