Repetitive items in Breakfast. Lots of choice but lacks variety.

Location and security.

Mostly same menu at breakfast - Idli, Dosa, Sambar, White bread , brown bread! Request for Masala Tea was not always honored. Recommend puff pastries or gourmet breads (made on the premises), instead of frosted cake everyday.

Very good service and location.

. Easy check in. Easy to find the hotel. House keeping were helpful and kept.the room very tidy

. Tiny rooms, picture shows bigger than actual. Facilities look and feel old but functional. Window revealed balcony which didnt look appealing.

Nice location, boutique hotel, nice patisserie and cafe convenient and a tub in single room bathroom

I feel you should inform the guest that there there is no real view in the room and that the window is just to allow for sunlight

It's a good location with a Starbucks and bookshop up the road. It is fairly easy to get onto the Coastal Road if you need to head into the suburbs, but is best suited for those with relatives/events in south Bombay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the room was very nice and as expected.

Not within walking distance of a station. The road outside can get a little noisy - a higher-level room would be preferred. The air conditioning unit started leaking at one point and was serviced upon notifying management.

Location was excellent! Staff were very accommodating.

(1) The room was very small. There was no "back rest" on the bed while watching tv. This can be an issue for people with back problems or even for those without. It was very uncomfortable to not be able to rest your back against something solid like a wall. Behind the bed was a counter which didn't help at all. Please do something about it. You can buy "removable" back rests to use on the bed. That will make the experience a lot better.

The staff was friendly

The room didn’t meet the expectations and it was not worth the amount we spent on it. The hallway and the lift were very humid and needed proper ventilation and sunlight. The air conditioner remote wasn’t working as it should and the bathroom had a strong odour of cheap detergent (an air freshener and good smelling cleaning agents would be nice). The hallway had the same odour which was quite unpleasant.

They gave us a lousy room to start with, moved us to a better room after a long argument. Room was not very clean, relatively poor for the price we paid.

I walked down the stairs and could not find the exit in broad daylight. Can you imagine trying to get out of this place during a fire with smoke filled in the hallways. No one would be able to, the exit signs which disappear when you are down on second floor are not lit, they are just plain signs which would be impossible to see during a fire. And as I mentioned before, once you go down from the second floor, there are no markings I had to go and trace my way back from the entrance to be able to find which way was up. It was like a puzzle I believe all with perish in a serious fire. This hotel needs a complete overhaul to avoid a fire, disaster and loss of life. I also did not notice any sprinkler systems. I tried to inform the staff, but the English was not sufficient hopefully for everybody’s sake, including their own they will do something about this.

I got a free upgrade to a suite. The staff was very nice and quick to respond to requests

The location of the hotel was awesome. In the centre and easy access to other locations like Colaba, Parel, Marine Drive...Bfast buffet was decent. And the FnB service staff were always friendly

The tariff was really high fr a property like Shalimar. Food cud get better.

Not a lot to like to be honest, apart from being at a great location and the willingness to switch us to a different room when the first room we got was dirty.

We were first allocated a room which had clearly not been cleaned properly. There was hair on the bed as well as on the toilet seat. We asked the hotel to shift us to a different room, which they did. The corridors seemed more like a storage area for random stuff rather than a hotel corridor.

The location was amazing and the food at the restaurants were mouth watering. A shout out to the Calima cafe !

The rooms were not maintained well. The chairs had springs coming out and there was a stuffy smell in the rooms. It's time they gave their rooms a good refresher. I just moved to another suburb of Mumbai and the rooms are much better at a lower price !

breakfast there was not much choice the upsetting thing is i booked 1 room for 3 people and the room was not big enough and they put a extra bed in the room. THE HOTEL WAS NOT CHEAP

AS ABOVE AND LIKE I SAID NEED MORE CHOICE ON BREAKFAST AND IF I HAD BOOKED 2 ROOMS 1 FOR 3 ADULTS AND 1 FOR 1 ADULT WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN NEXT TO EACH OTHER AND WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN A BIGGER ROOM FOR 3 ADULTS

Great location... Not many food options around the place... Just good for basic and official visits. Families can be avoided. Nothing premium here.

1. Given the wrong room - someone was already staying there and it was ‘fishy’.2. 2nd room was a smoking room!!!3. Next room had one queen bed instead of two twins which we had booked - the saving grace was it was a suite!4. staff got much better after we made a lot of noise.5. The bedroom was small but adequate - the living area was fine.6. The location was convenient

Stayed multiple times now and always the same standard. Clean room with comfortable beds. Great location
