Svenska Design Hotel

Friendly and caring staff! Clean environment!! Very attentive to needs!! Great food!! Great entertainment!!

The location and the Scandinavian design of the hotel.

Room service was very slow. Food/tea/coffee was cold by the time it was delivered. Mold in the shower area.

We had already paid for our stay and informed that we will reach at 1.30am. After reaching hotel the staff said we dont have rooms available as the guest who were supposed to check out have extended their stay. Is that our problem than why did you accepted our booking and payment. After fighting so much at night that too at 3am they gave us the required room. So pathetic service never suggest anyone.

The location was good..

My stay at this so called 4 ⭐ property was horrible. Be careful they overcharge if you check in early.

The property is at a great location and the best maintained hotel. Moreover the staff especially Chetan, Mohammad Salman

Payment option for an additional mattress and bed sheets is not an acceptable option. Also put more options of tea and coffee and more tissue papers

Acceptable

Nothing at all.

Not clean. Definitely not a 5* property. Food was bad. Staff was very untrained.

The property is very well maintained, located in a prime area. The staff along with the property manager, Mr. Chetan, make you feel at home.

This property was very adjacent to my in laws hence I chose it. It’s in a heart of Andheri, very close to the airport. Staffs were very accommodating, Chetan and Safia plus the guys at the breakfast - they’re very nice. Breakfast is acceptable, my family don’t eat spicy and they could accommodate us on that. Lastly, even though its in city proper, it’s quiet in the area which is helpful for a good night sleep.

It’s an ageing hotel, decent, I would know if the other occupants in the other room had left because I could hear them closing their doors. The hotel could improve on cleanliness.

Location was close to my family.

Not worth the price. Broken flush, broken shower handle. They fixed the flush, but still not ok. They didn't stock basic amenities properly. Only 1 towel for 2 guests. No toilet paper, except what little was left on the existing roll. Just not what you expect for the price paid. Even the ac control was a bit broken , you couldn't read the number on the display properly.

Staff was very nice and cooperative

I had booked with breakfast included through booking.com but at the property it said it doesn't have such information.Secondly, lighting arrangement in room was poor

Room size was good, view was nice, Food was tasty, staff was courteous

Booking.com charged me too high. Even Hotel tariff was quiet reasonable and other on line sites were offering half the price (I discovered it later after reaching at hotel, I was believing that I am prime member so Booking.com will provide me best deal, but it was no so)

Room size was good, Food was tasty and staff was courteous.

1. The tariff charged by Booking.com was too high. Even tariff offered by Hotel was low and rooms in hotels at other websites in this Hotel were available at half the price what the Booking.com charged from me.2. Food was tasty but options were limited in the breakfast & Dinner.

I have been harassed and mistreated by the male receptionist who’s supposedly a manager too. He was showing obvious signs of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs

The property is basic which I don’t mind. Buy the service was abysmal and then the fuse blew up and even after they fixed it, only only docket worked in the room

The hotel is a bit outdated but comfortable, and the food is good. It is situated on a quiet street. The service was exceptional - every staff member tried their best to be of best service - warm and smiling - Amaan, Hassan, Sanjay, and especially Mr. Chetan, the manager, who made extra efforts to be attentive and help me out in challenging situations. Thank you very much! I remain with the warm feeling of home away from home and recommend the Svenska Design Hotel in Mumbai Andheri west, to anyone who wants to feel the same.

The staff is very helpful, the location is great too.

The property is way too old. The lifts are not working properly, bathrooms are in a bad shape with drainage clogging non-stop, hot/cold water not mixing properly.

Stated in booking.com as a 5 star and then is a 1 star boutique hotel all fraud never booking again with booking .com lost 200 euros

Property was very hygienic. The room itself was decently spacious and well organized. The quality of the bedding was excellent. Staff was very professional and helpful.

The property is too overpriced for the facilities it provides. Temperature control in the room was often terrible.

Location and great staff

The cleaning still needs to be improved.
