Hotel Marine Plaza Mumbai

Location was very good, even if you could not see too much of it due to smog. Lovely staff. We had a miserable problem with a hotel driver pick up from the airport arranged through the hotel. The hotel was very apologetic & accommodating regarding the fee for the pick up & arranged every detail on our return trip to the airport.

Very call bedroom & bathroom, but the room was comfortable & met our needs.

Excellent well-rounded breakfast although the coffee gets stale once the pot is down to %50 and the tea needs to be less milky to be able to enjoy its flavor and aroma.

Price for extended stay, the rate was offered was current despite extending the stay and ending up staying for almost 3 weeks! Spending the amount we did for 3 rooms for this much duration should warrant some benefits to make it better value for the travellers and convince them to come back to Marine Plaza and not go anywhere else.

The sea view rooms offer a good view of Marine drive.the restaurant offers good food. Parking space is limited. Good for short stay with friends and family

I liked the service provided by the staff. They were excellent and went out of their way to provide great service. Special mention to Amid from housekeeping who spoke with us every day as he tended to our room and provided recommendations for things to do in Mumbai. Also, the location was great, and the views of the sunset were fabulous.

Pool is open only until 6pm, and 2 out od 4 days not working beacuse of private party.

Overall great hotel, very friendly staff. The interior is amazing with a great view from the rooftop.

Unfortunately the pool was closed during the time of staying.

The location of this hotel is great, it is right on the Marine. However, this spot also gets busy with locals visiting the Marine drive.

The entertainment in the room was not great. Most channels were in Hindi, which made it hard for anyone who didn't understand the local language. The English channels were very limited. We didn't watch the TV much.The room was also on the smaller scale and also the pool was really small. It's more like a dipping pool.

The rooms need updating, the restaurant and lobby areas were fitting but the rooms need updating based on the pricing and comparing it to other similar hotels along Nariman Point eg Trident and the Intercontinental

One of the staff members refused to bring a take away container for my 2 year old son who hadn’t finished his meal. His reason was that we are not allowed to take food away.Gym is too small. Can. Only fit 1 person at a time.For some reason lift doesn’t go to level 1. So you have to take lift to ground floor and then walk upstairs. Smell of cigarettes in hallways. Also balustrade patterns look wide enough for a 2 year old child to squeeze in. It doesn’t look safe. A chair has been tied to balustrade on 4th floor. A child can easily climb up the chair and over the balustrade.

The hotel was extremely clean, the staff very friendly and decorated very well. The view from the roof terrace was fantastic and general area was very nice. Great location for visiting Gate of India and getting boat to Elephant Island.

The restaurant food was excellent but a little on the expensive side (from what I'm used to whilst living in India). There was a private party on the roof terrace/pool so I didn't get to spend much time there unfortunately.
