Location is best and room has huge space and very clean

Location is very good. Staff is very friendly and cooperative. Rooms are very cozy, clean and comfortable. Bed was also very comfortable.

Thali in the restaurant was good. The location was near sea .

There is no proper sea view from the room. The room was stinking due to probably the dead rat in the AC . They shifted us in another standard room until they cleaned and sprayed heavily. We were in ? ?

The first room had a bed with bedbugs and hairs.They changed me towards another room (2:00 AM) which still had hairs, but at least no bed bugs. It was also a far nicer room. Breakfast was not great

Very poor house keeping. 1. Bad sheets used are very crumpled and did not look very clean.2. Moping on floor was very badly done with residues from mop everywhere.3. Water was not available in bathroom and in-spite of repeated calls to housekeeping no one responded. Reception informed some repair is going on and water will resume soon.

Absolutely Fantastic place to stay ,All of the staff were brilliant .The decor and Restaurants were just lovely ,still has an old feel and you are made very welcome wherever you go.We ate from the Restaurant one day and the food was spot on , Breakfast too all very nice with a good choice for all .If any criticism at all I would say the rooms and bathroom are looking a little tired and may need some TLC soon ,but do not let that put you off from staying here .We would most definitely recommend this hotel for Mumbai.

All the staff are very friendly and polite, including the GM and the VP Operations whom we had the privilege to meet. Breakfast buffet and the Society restaurant were fabulous. Excellent location with all amenities within walking distance.

Had a very bad experience on our final day of stay when water started leaking from the ceiling and dropped straight into my suitcase and onto my laptop whilst we were having breakfast. Though the staff were very polite and ensured prompt response and offered to dry clean all my stuff and offered F&B free of charge, I would have expected them to compensate on the accommodation charges instead and to take some responsibility for any future damage to my work laptop.Rooms need to be renovated and regular maintenance carried out.There were no mentions anywhere that the top floors were being renovated and that the revolving restaurant was closed at time of booking which was a very big disappointment as this was one of the main reasons for us to book The Ambassador Mumbai.
