Chateau Windsor Hotel

An inexpensive hotel in the city's best location, delighted to find it much better equipped than I thought. I traveled as a single business woman; internet worked well, the staff helped me order from local restaurants and delivered meals to my room!

Very compact room so hard to work there for hours, but this is Mumbai after all.

Location is central

It’s basic. Breakfast could probably have a few more options. There’s only instant coffee! For a south Bombay hotel, it should at least have decent cup of coffee.

Amazing place to stay. Location, staff, facilities, cleanliness top notch. Highly recommended and value for money.

I chose Chateau Windsor because it’s a short walk to my mum’s house. But the location is excellent for those who are tourists as it’s very close to attractions and shopping alike

Not much

The location was perfect, so close to the water front boulevard and attractions were easy to get to. The room was lovely, spacious and clean. The staff were kind, cheerful and helpful.

The fridge didn't work in my room, they instantly sent someone up to fix it but it still didn't work, as my companion had a working fridge, I didn't bother to address it. The light switches on one side of the bed didn't work and neither did the power point on either side, I had to do any charging etc at the desk across the room. None of these things are major, or holiday destroying. Also we were not warned that in order to have your room made up you must leave your key at reception and if you don't leave your key you miss out, be warned.

Location & proximity to Nariman Point. Closeness to restaurants, beach and railway station. Food delivery available at the hotel.

Very laborious check-in process. Poor breakfast selection.

The hotel is walking distance to marine drive and the churchgate station which is very convenient. The hotel staffs are very welcoming and the stay was comfortable. Overall good services.

Never recommend this hotel in future

I booked a large room of 44² meter size with breakfast but the person on reception asked that they don't have any such large room and they said room is booked without breakfast. His attitude was so rude and and rooms are with basic facilities. I will never recommend this hotel.

This is a very likable hotel. It has large numbers of friendly staff, the rooms are amazingly quiet considering that the hotel is on a main road and service, particularly the laundry, is quick. For a hotel within five minutes walk of the India cricket club and Churchgate Station it is astonishingly good value. I have stayed here before and I will stay there again.

Just one thing; the mattress was rather tired out and it didn’t do my back much good.

Traditional hotel with close proximity to Marine drive and expect a homely warm reception by the staff with cleanliness.No frill hotel for those who want to explore Mimbai, as close to Church gate station.

Wonderful location near Marine Drive and the beds were comfortable enough. I would definitely consider staying there again.

The shower was not great and the small lift to get in and out of the hotel was quite cramped for three people and bags.As it is near a main road, you do hear the constant car horns of Mumbai.

Free tea and coffee sachett shuld be a must. Complementary breakfast should have varieties. It was just a formality although was fresh. Breakfast must be complementory for all guest. I have been charged for it.

The location of the hotel is excellent - both close to the coastal promenade and the train station. The room was nice, clean, the staff was helpful. The hotel was accommodating when we changed our reservation.

The breakfasts are very simple, we missed a wider selection of drinks and food.
