Everything! This is the best hotel we stayed in during our 3 week vacation in Japan. Highly recommend you stay here. Close to everything Nikko has to offer. Host are accommodating. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

Close to the train station, close to the shrines. The items provided in the room are very high quality, and the PJ’s are SO soft & cozy. Beds were comfy & sheets so soft.

I feel it should have provided amenities like breakfast and dinner for the price I paid. This is not a ryokan, which was disappointing. I am use to paying a steep cost and receiving more luxurious benefits & a focus on keen details. The units are nice but they have been lived in - evidence by the water damage & cut outs on ceiling.

The location is perfect for a couple of nights in Nikko. The staff are nice and helpful, and the room was great and spacious.

Private onsen! Wonderful pillows (including extras available in the closet) duvet, large combination bedroom and sitting room, excellent attentive staff! Felt like being in heaven!

Location is perfect to explore the temples and to be in a more quiet area, still with shops very near. The staff is so amazing and kind. The rooms are neat and very spacious. The onsen on every floor is a treat with good amenities. This a hotel that I totally stay again!

The Nikko Nishimachi Club a la touto is located within a short walking distance to 4 area Temples/Shrines. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. The hotel offers wonderful private spa access on each floor which can be reserved in advance (there is a nominal spa tax which is paid during checkout). Some free drinks were provided in the room fridge along with some simple snacks (chips/crisps). Bathrobes, pajamas and quality toiletries are also provided. The staff was very courteous and helpful, always using a translation app when needed to ensure a clear understanding. Local cafes and restaurants can have odd hours or closing days, so just be aware. The Indian restaurant above the nearby Lawsons was very good, as well as the crepes in the cafe next door, when open. A visit to the local tourist information center was very helpful. The hotel reimbursed our taxi fees from the train station upon arrival and welcomed us with a glass of wine or juice, which was lovely. They also provided transportation back to the train station after checkout.

The staff were so friendly, professional, and helpful!!The hotel’s location is perfect for a visit to the Toshogu Shrine which is the main attraction in Nikko. The design of the room is nice, the beds are so comfortable, and it’s immaculate. They thought of everything- robes, pjs, slippers, free drinks & snacks, razors, makeup samples, etc. And free Haagen Dazs ice cream. I highly recommend that you have breakfast & dinner at the hotel-sooo delicious! There’s no onsen in the room, but you can sign up for a slot for 50 minutes.

It happened to be a holiday and many stores were closed. Not the fault of the hotel but check before you go to Nikko

The suite with the private bath was fantastic, plenty of space, ultra quiet and relaxing, slept really well. Checkout at noon is a bonus.

Big and super clean room. Private Onsen available on each floor that was amazing.. car service to/from the train station. Very polite and courteous team.

Beautiful and peaceful property with modern and clean rooms. A peaceful oasis to come home to. We loved the private onsen (additional fee to use) and the very friendly and accommodating staff (especially Sato)! Nice touches including cozy robes, slippers & free ice cream.

Staff warm and welcoming. Helpful in every way. Good value, peaceful rooms and very clean and well laid out. Coffee and tea facilities in room and nice a touch of a free mini bar. Near reception a small fridge where you can help your self to ice cream. Staff helpful and the breakfast was delicious. You can tell the staff take pride in their jobs. There is a private onsen near the rooms. You book your time and can enjoy a thermal spring bath experience in a private room and enjoy relaxing after the days sightseeing and hiking.

Beds slightly on the firm side but that’s just a personal preference.

Close location to major temples. Close to eateries and shopping. Nice location tucked away from the main road yet easy to get to from bus stops.

Great location, close to major shrines along the world heritage route, yet a bit removed from the bustle. Absolutely wonderful staff was super friendly and helpful. Surprisingly good dinner. Big and good breakfast.

Any complaint would be nit-picking. It’s a lovely place. Maybe the room was too warm and we couldn’t get the “mode” to switch from heating to cooling. But we opened the window and that worked.

Perfect location. Wonderful and helpful staff in particular Akari and the lovely young lady who helped us arrange a taxi and bus tickets to Haneda airport. She was so kind and helpful.

Nothing. Our room was wonderful and we lived the use of the private osen.
