Stayed in this property for a week with family during Ahmedabad trip. Stay was very comfortable and entire staff is very co operative.

Wonderful staff, they all went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our stay, and met our special requests with great kindness and consideration.

Shower curtain allowed water to seep underneath, making floor very slippery. Also a lot of fragrance or incense was used in the property.

The front office staff- Neel and Aafiya were efficient and courteous. Check-in was quick.Room was clean and comfortable.Items in the room were useful. Breakfast items were delicious. Restaurant staff were attentive.

The location was good. Staff were excellent - especially Nil from front office (hope I got the name right!). Nil was very welcoming and made sure the check-in process was done perfectly. Gave information about local area and communicated very well regarding all facilities. The room although small was well equipped with essentials. The aesthetic light outside the window was too bright, but was switched off later at night. Could not sleep early with the curtains open due to this (had to catch an early flight). The concierge who showed the room was good and helpful.

The size of the room was small but that is not a major problem as it always depends on building/structural design. Perfect for one night stays. Restaurant staff needs more training on how to behave around guests. They were communicating very loudly with each other. It was not pleasant. A smile goes a long way! Did not notice when I left the restaurant after meals even though I was the only guest there. A big contrast from front office staff.

It is the friendly and welcoming staff in this hotel that I would like to recommend most highly. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. It offers a wide variety of delicious menu items for everyone to choose from.

You might be a little sensitive to noise like me, so I'd like to point out that these rooms aren't soundproof.

Very friendly staff. The restaurant is really good. We had dinner there for two evenings.

The roundabout nearby is very busy. But I don't think noise is avoidable if you stay in the city center.

the breakfast was just the right quality and right choice , nothing to elobrate , neet and well placed , hot dishes as per choice was served quickly

there is no good coffee machine , a good coffee would have made a total different experinece

Allowed me late checkout for an additional fee. Receptionists and restaurant staff were all really friendly

Very nice and cozy property. Rooms are designed beautifully. Really liked the interiors. It is like a boutique property bang right in the centre of the city. Staff was very helpful, gave me a few suggestions on where to shop and places to see. Overall a great feel at the property.

The rooms are fine.

The staff. Every interaction was paternalistic, condescending, overbearing, impolite or just plain rude. They never apologized for any of their mistakes. They quoted me inr1500 for an airport pick up when Uber charged me inr510. Laundry charges are excessive. I paid half of my total bill the day I booked, by online payment. Never received a confirmation (or a thank you for that matter) until I asked for one. Then 3 days before my arrival they sent my reservation details showing a "Total Paid: INR 0.00". Very anxiety-inducing. And no apology when I mentioned it by email and again during check in.The facilities of the hotel are fine but you get the feeling that the staff would be happy to run a hotel with no guests in sight. That they expect the guests to behave, to be seen but not heard, to be appreciative of the little efforts they deploy now and then (aka doing their jobs)... In my opinion, you are paying way too much to be treated this way by this under-trained (maybe?), unsupervised (maybe?), ill-manered (absolutely!) staff.

Amazing stay at Hotel Nalanda for our 1 night trip to Ahmedabad. Staff were very helpful and attentive and we were able to check in early which was much appreciated after our overnight train. I also had some post delivered to this hotel, which was ready and waiting for me upon arrival. The hotel offered great value for money with a great breakfast selection included in the price. The staff were the stand out factor and couldn't do enough for you! Room was a good size and the shower was great temperature and pressure. Bed was a good size and very comfy. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ahmedabad.

Clean and spacious room. Breakfast was delicious. Fast internet connection.

Breakfast was good, beds were comfy and clean. Location is near to centre of city. Roof terrace is good for relaxation.

Bathroom slippers were not there. Rooms are very compact.

Staff were so friendly, polite helpful and efficient. I was given complimentary masala tea and buscuits on arrival. Shower was hot immediately, air con and fan were in great working order. Comfy bed and pillows gave me a lovely sleep. Western breakfast flakes, assortmemt of fruit, toast, orange juice, and lots to.choose from for Indian breakfast. Masala tea and buscuits also available. Dual aspect view from room. I had a very relaxing time.

The only thing was wifi was a bit slow and often lagging and 2pm check in time

Clean room. Staff were great. Fantastic breakfast. Even got a packed breakfast when we left early in the morning. Roof terrace for relaxing.

Great location, clean rooms and very helpful and cooperative staff! Loved our stay here.
