Dull lighting in the rooms, pool showers locked, no pool attendance during our stay.

The location was good and staff courteous.

The cleanliness needs improving. Although the staff took care of my specific issues the next day, it should not have been so unkept in the first place. This is not a 5 star quality hotel. The water needs softening as the bathrooms were corroded.

Spacious rooms with option of Japanese restaurant on site.

The air conditioning and extraction was continually not been used in the main restaurant. The extraction facility is not being operated resulting in clothes smelling of food. Not suitable for going into meetings.

Hotel Location was good.

No hair dryer was provided in the room. Dirty socks were there (room not cleaned). Towels and slippers were pale/ used earlier and not properly cleaned. Tv doesn't work. Price for executive cabin was charged around 10k but facilities provided were very poor and disappointing.

The price and location were good.

The carpet was gross and the rollaway bed was very uncomfortable.

There was a very bad damp smell in the corridor and in the room .

Budget traveller, I spent my last night in India in a fancy hotel. Was a bit dubious, sometimes it's the same service with a bigger bill but here it was really nice.Helpful people, cleanness, hot water really hot, strong WiFi, every bulb working... I enjoyed the gym and the freezing pool on the roof

A coffee or any drink is super expensive in the lobby, but it goes with this type of establishment

Check out they ask to pay when they took full deposit taken from account in check they advised they cancel deposit and ask for payment which I paid took 3/4 weeks back refund of deposit

I had booked another room with dinner included hence cancelled my previous booking.Both the booking was done for 13 December 2024 , Renaissance Ahmedabad.I was trying to call help desk to intimate the same but no response from their side.Pathetic help desk with no proper resolution of query.

Untidy room. Lots of stains on all mirrors. Absolutely lousy cleaning. Banging sound in toilet door. No more decent toiletries. Most lousy breakfast and very poor service in restaurant. My room number was 1406.

The property is in new condition and the room was neatly kept with comfortable bed. Bathroom was in good condition.

Pathetic Management , Staff, condition of the property. Marriott bonvoy bad association . Renaissance very few in India if this is what continues people won't realise it's the bad franchisee and not the brand. You guys are a great brand I have stayed world wide but Ahmedabad God save the brand.

I recently stayed at the Renaissance Hotel, Ahmedabad, for two nights (18-20 Nov 2024), and it was hands down the worst experience I have ever had at a so-called 5-star property. This hotel does not live up to the standards one would expect from a Marriott Bonvoy association and is a complete disappointment on multiple fronts.Poor Check-in Process: The check-in was disorganized and lacked efficiency, leaving a sour first impression.Pathetic Room Maintenance: The room was in terrible condition, with clear wear and tear visible everywhere. The mattress was so uncomfortable that I checked out with a severe backache.Unresponsive Room Service: Calling room service was an ordeal. Twice, my calls went unanswered for over 25 minutes. I eventually had to make 10 calls to the hotel landline from my mobile before someone picked up.Seepage in Walls: There were visible seepage marks on the walls, which is unacceptable for a property claiming to be 5-star. (Photos attached for reference.)Stained and Stinking Carpets: The floor carpets were stained and emitted a foul odor, adding to the overall discomfort.Lack of Security: At 1 AM, the main gate security guards removed the barricades and went to sleep. This blatant disregard for guest safety is alarming.Unprofessional Valet and Security Staff: I witnessed the valet driver and security staff engaging in an abusive argument in front of me and five other guests. This is unprofessional and completely unacceptable behavior.Terrible Breakfast Experience: The breakfast service was appalling. It took four reminders to get a simple cup of Americano. The servers lacked basic manners and were clueless about proper breakfast etiquette.Chef doesn't know his Job well, ordered Chilly Paneer food was so bad, street food vendor would do a better job compared what hotel did.Overall, this was a horrific stay, and I am shocked that Marriott Bonvoy allows such a substandard property to tarnish its brand value and goodwill.

It was good have always loved staying at renaissance.

The match box in the room was empty even the tissue box there weren’t even towel in the room at the first place

The location was great close to the malls and also the staff were very friendly and were helpful at every point! The food was fantastic and great for family as well.
