Ramada by Wyndham Ahmedabad

At booking counter, the staff behavior was rude, when she was filling the application, without any excuse, she attended the incoming call, making us to wait for more than 6 to 7 minutes. When I asked, she says, she cannot leave the in coming call un attended. OK I agree, but she even didn’t say sorry for making us waiting, in spite of me asking, rather she showed her attitude. I don’t want to escalate the issue to senior staff, putting her into trouble. But I feel like expressing here. Thanks

Location.

They charged me twice and reversed after I pointed it out. This after confirming that they have the payment while checking in.They were short of rooms, so they upgraded me on their own during check in. Never told me it was for one night. Made me shift rooms on the second day, claiming I was not entitled in an impolite tone. I did shift. On escalation the Manager on duty apologized for both.Kindly do watch for the duplicate charge on your card if you book this property. Too many trainees who are not being trained well in the front office and restaurant. Location a huge plus.

Good variety of breakfast, Attentive, Humble and well mannered staff always ready on your call.The front office team led by Jayesh Ghadge is excellent in their team work.

Basic facilities were not available such as giving newspapers in the morning at the doorstep, toiletries. Further, food choice was not available. Same type of breakfast every day. Gym was under repair. I would not recommend anyone to this hotel. For the amount which we are paying, the facilities are not upto a 4 star hotel standard

YR CHECK IN TIMES CAN BE MORE FLEXIBLE ACCORDING TO YR OCCUPANCY ..THERE WAS NO WELCOME DRINK ..NO STAff to assit yr departure .IT WAS LIKE A ROUTINE HOTAL ..NOTHING SPECIAL TO ATTACK TO WELCOME AGAIN ..I HAD A LIQUOR PERMIT BUT ON MY SCANNED COPY ..IT WAS ISSUED IN BARODA IN MY NAME WITH ALL DETAILS ..CAN YOU IMAGINE IN THIS ERA ON ON LINE THEY INSISTED ON HARD COPY ..HORRIBLE PL . I never drink Redbull. And I didn't have any visitor 2days before I left. On my last day of stay, the housekeeping cleaned the room which means all garbages were thrown away and cleaned up. When the day came I had to check out and went down to reception, the receptionist called the housekeeping and the latter informed the former that there was a used bottle of Redbull in the trash can. So magical it was! First, I never drink Redbull. Second, it shouldn't be the basis because what If I bought from outside. Third, they should have counted the items on the ref prior to my check in instead of checking on the trash. I was told to pay which I would be willing to do so had I been drinking the Redbull ?

Attention to all foreigners like me1st at the arrival of the hotel , i ask them if i can pay them everyday , but they dont agree which is fine for me and asking to pay the full amount...but one is weird for me is the ask as well a DEPOSIT even if i pay for full amount. Best breakfast menu I had in India. Lots of Indian food, of course, but also some Western alternatives.

Helpful and supportive staff, particularly Sohrab at the front desk and Lalita in the Restaurant .I complement all staff for their professionalism and diligence.

Air conditioning was awful.Switches for lights are confusing..Electric outlets ate out dated, with round pin still in use..

All front office staff are very bad in behaviour and very tude in answering.

Staff took my booking on phone and as i reached property staff was changed so i did not get room. They even gave me pricing and they changed. Staff behaviour is extremely bad since my 4-5 visits.

Very little variety. very few fruits. Almost every day was the same menu.

A little more variety at breakfast & well trained waiters. They just come & dump the plate, forks & knives. I had to set them myself.
