warm room, one electric fan seems not enough. not well lit property. beach front were not well maintained. we have to wake up early to catch up the high tide to be able to swim on the beach.

Wasn’t overly expensive but for what you get it was pricey.

No beachfront, no pool, typical backpackers. The washroom could have used a sprayer, that was disappointing. The fan was sufficient. But I found it a bit on the pricey side.

I loved this hostel! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, it's a beautiful set of wooden cabin style buildings. I had a lovely bunk with curtains for privacy. The staff supplied plenty of soap, toilet paper, even shampoo! They came in and cleaned daily. Such a relaxed place to unwind, and a beach connected to the property. Close to diving shops.Plenty of options for eating

My only down side is it's a little far from the main stretch, but it was easy to catch a tuk tuk. Better if you can drive a scooter.A lot of mosquitos, but that's the same all over the Philippines! Cold shower, but again that's not a downside to me as this is the standard in Asia - if you want a hot shower then pay more for a hotel or a more expensive hostel. This hostel had everything you need, I highly recommend. But do keep in mind it's very quiet here, it's a place to half a relaxing chilled time

Wifi doesn't always have strong signal

10 minute walk from Tubod Marine Sanctuary. Fairly close to some restaurants / bars. Not worth it though…so many better options in the area!

Everything in disrepair. Leaking roof with water dripping through light fixture in bathroom. Smelly room (mold / mildew / musty). Rotting wood. Hole in floor of porch with rusty nails sticking out.The common areas are horrible. The beach is dirty and gross. The “garden” is overgrown and full of mosquitos. The outdoor seating areas that should be space to hang out and enjoy the outdoors are rotting / crumbling. Don’t believe the photos. This property has completely stopped maintaining even a basic level.When we arrived mid afternoon it took several minutes to find a person at all. The reception desk and restaurant / bar were completely empty and even the electrical power was turned off so the refrigerators were not even running. We actually worried at first that the place had shut down. That would have been a good thing because then we could have easily gotten a refund. Instead, we eventually found someone to show us to our room. The room was so horrible and unsafe that we decided to go look for someplace else to stay. We returned a couple hours later, retrieved our bags, returned the key and left. We are now fighting with booking.com for a refund because the property has said nothing other than “provide proof.” I have plenty of photo proof of how terrible the place is! No one seems to want to see the proof or read the many awful reviews left here in the last few weeks. I should have canceled this booking when I saw bad reviews a couple weeks ago but at that point everything else was booked! Luckily we found a guest house to stay in nearby for only a slightly higher price. Hopefully we can get our money back from this pre-payment though!

No water at night, wifi was really slow! Toilet has a very bad smell coming out from the drainage and fan is full of dust! It was never cleaned for ages! We cleaned it ourselves. No cleaning tools provided and linens has a lot of stains!

Love the spacious room and clean towels. They also provide toiletries.

Nice place and the food is great too. But it's I had a fan room and it got quite hot at times. Still, it's oceanfront and the staff is really friendly.

We originally booked two rooms. fan room (3pax) and ac room(4pax). The ac room is quite big. originally the ac room is good for 4 but it can actually accommodate 6. We also like that it has beach view which is one of our faves. it has the best sunset view.

what we didn't like about the room is that you'll feel the vibration of the ac and its a little bit noisy.

Nice location. Near the beach and surrounded by greenery. I took the fan room, and it had a nice breeze throughout the night. Helpful staff. Good food

I love that its location is near to most tourist spots in Siquijor. Another commendable is their staff!! Very accommodating and nice. They respond to all our needs in an instant. Super sulit since they have private access to the beach.They also have spacious parking space and spacious room. Big advantage also is that they have their own restau so we do not really have to go out most of the time.

The signal of the wifi doesnt reach our room. The signal is also not great in our room but when we go out in the reception or in the beach area, it works fine.

Booking was cheap but the service and room were exceptional. Staff were polite and very accommodating.

Great location by the sea, staff very friendly), and lots of chicken and rabbits running free on the site., all nice and clean., very nice environment with lots of coconut trees. Also barbeque facilities

Had a great stay at Tori's Backpacker's Paradise. We definitely enjoyed our relaxing stay at our cottage right in front of the beach. The owner was also very prompt with answering all our queries and all the staff were very helpful. Will definitely recommend Tori's to our friends who plan to visit Siquijor in the future.

The property is in good location and it has a small beach front. Its near in the marine sanctuary, so we just walked by the beach going to there. The restaurant was affordable and the servings were big. Plus it taste good! The staff were so nice too.

Just the room we stayed, the wifi and lte is weak. We have to go out a couple of steps from the room to get a connection between the 2.

The room was HUGE and so comfortable! I had a great stay here. The food is incredible as well and very fairly priced, as was the entire stay. The hostel is surrounded by nature and by the beach. I recommend staying here!

It's not very social, unfortunately. But in my experience and based on friends I've met, this is quite common for Siquijor. If you're craving that instead, Fable seems to be the place to stay.
