SLAM'S Garden Dive Resort

The water shower is saltwater and not clean . No fridge.

Location was good. Restaurant and staff there were very good.

Front desk staff were not helpful or friendly. They were not interested in helping me and held a grudge the rest of my stay.

I really loved this place. It’s cozy, in a perfect location, and very clean. It’s also super convenient that they have a dive shop inside the hotel. I really enjoyed the food as well. For early dives, you can pre-order your breakfast the night before, and they’ll have it ready for you. The staff is genuinely sweet, especially the ladies who work in the kitchen, they were absolutely lovely. I was very happy with my choice.

Location is perfect. Good wifi, good swimming pool. Restaurant on site with alot of food/drink choices.

To bad the AC and the locker were broken

The people were kind, conversational and welcoming. The property was clean and well maintained. Their dive center (ocean passion) had new equipment, great dive pricing, and the dive masters were friendly and helpful.

Looking back, everything was really good!

Swimming pool is nice

When a guest arrives, they should turn on the air conditioning to give it a five minute Headstart. It would also be nice if they could help with instructions for making an electronic transfer using the Wise app.

A good place to stay as it's nearby the port area and walking distance to other properties if you need more food options. Also nearby the marketplace, just a few minutes of walking. Staff and breakfast, superb.

Very beautiful garden setting, very good and affordable food and drinks at the restaurant. Nice and helpful staff. Clean rooms that can accomodite the whole family. Big pool good for swimming and diving courses. If you like to scuba dive, they offer all you need for that in the same spot. Very close to the port, 2 min walk. Children got scuba certified there, they had very good and patienced instructor. Nice divemasters and managers too. Great value for money, everything just worked out smoothly!

Comfortable enough. Is a place to rest at night. Didn’t try the facilities like the pool etc

1. shower water was salty. don’t expect to bathe with clean fresh water here after your dive. you’ll be sticky the entire stay 2. staff weren’t very friendly or helpful. it’s like they did the minimum required of their job. 3. Not worth for the money paid. although i understand this island has a generally higher cost for everything.

Location was fantastic: just 2min walk from the port and 5min walk from most dive centers. The room was clean and the property was quiet.The pool was clean and restaurant by the pool was tasty for the island. I dived with another dive shop so I can’t comment on Slam’s dive equipment but it looked good.

The room was a little old & run down. The shower water was hot but the pressure was very weak. The bathroom towels barely dried you because have the consistency of a blanket.

Kitchen is the worst part, breakfast was just really bad.

We didn’t choose it as a diver centre because it was very difficult to get proper and clear information. However, regarding accommodation can only say positive things.

The swimming pool looks very good, water a bit dirty. People were even taking pictures from outside, so it looks good

Charging for water, and I wanted to dive with their resort, but was some missunderstanding or something, so, no diving. Good luck I could find

Location is good

The toilet lid is broken. Always falling down. Fan is not working properly.

I like the room per se, it was big and we can move around easily. I like as well the bed size, perfect! The cleanliness was spotless. We had room on our balcony as well.

I would liked a sea view.

Pool area is great and the onsite restaurant is great for a poolside snack. The breakfast options cover most tastes. Our room was comfortable with daily cleaning as an option and a excellent aircon. The shower water pressure was good and it had hot water. Wifi was strong throughout the property.

Our room was located right above the dive shop area so early morning prep for the morning dive did interrupt a bit of our sleep. Otherwise great stay and value for money.

Great resort very central of Malapascua. One of the few resorts that have a pool on the island which was great for the kids. Staff is super friendly!

The coffee could be better.

Thanks to the whole team at SLAM’S we had the best time in Malapascua!The resort and rooms are simple, clean and confortable.The pool side is awesome, and lovely to hang out at after a long day of diving/snorkeling.We did our advanced diving course with SLAM’S and enjoyed the experience. We felt super privileged to dive with thresher sharks and all the beautiful animals living around the island. What really made our experience 5⭐️ was the team!Everyone from Milky at reception, to JR our diving instructor, made us feel super welcome and helped us too many times to count (helping us to arrange transportation, scan documents, plan a birthday surprise… to name a few ?)We were super sad to leave SLAM’S and are already looking forward to being back.We will miss everyone (and of course our best friend Pit-Pit, please give her a special kiss from us ??)

The property is very quiet and is a 3 minute walk to the ferry and various beaches. I really liked the pool but be aware that it's very deep. They have life jackets for kids to wear but even adults can't stand up in it (it's used for dive instruction). The rooms are cleaned daily, and the shower and toilet are in separate rooms. My room had a good hot water shower. You can pay via PayPal or bank transfer and will be contacted to pay the first night this way (it's legit). They don't accept credit cards currently. Cash is fine. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

It would be good if they provided pool / beach towels in the room since the bathroom towels clearly aren't to be used for this. I was a little disappointed to find out that there were NYE parties on the island which the staff didn't know about (I asked a few of them) so I went to bed well before midnight only to be woken by fireworks on the beach. Next year I recommend that they do some research to let guests know about where they can attend NYE events.

Very well run little resort. Very clean, food was fresh and tasty. The staff was very efficient and friendly. The co-located dive center was also very well run with well maintained equipement and reliable instructors / divemasters and crew. Recommend.
