The grounds, the buildings and the pool area are beautiful, built with n the colonialStyle. We felt transported to a different era. The staff are professional & provided excellent service. The multinational breakfast was delicious, the choices ample and the setting beautiful. The dinner restaurant floats with n the River Kwae and includes a variety of Thai cuisines fresh m different regions with in Thailand

The mattress and in our room was too firm.l for my bad back. However, the staff provided a topper that solved the problem!

The property is very vintage luxury style. Staff were very friendly and the location is very convenient, not far from the city.

The resort, The pool and The breakfast was excellent.

We asked for extra bed which made a squeaky noise.

We had the river facing suite which is big and comfortable. The compound is big and well maintained.

The Thai Restaurant Rice Barge is sub standard. Common dishes like yam glassnoddles, pork and appetizer are all not good. Quite surprise! Breakfast is so so, nothing impressive.

The pool

Very old rooms, hard and uncomfortable bed, poor room cleanliness, very bad room service and food at the hotel isn’t good . Very disappointing.

It looks neglected. I had problems with the toilet running continuously, the room safe was locked, the lock on the balcony door was broken, the hot water was not hot enough, the shower drain was blocked. When I arrived at 10pm there was no-one to take my bags and no-one in reception. When I found someone I was told that my room had been given to someone else. The walkways were grubby and the stair bannisters were dirty.

The property is beautiful. Colonial style, takes you back in time. Right next to the river. The staff were very helpful. You will need a vehicle as there is nothing nearby. The room mini bar was complimnetary, with soft drinks and juices which were replenished everyday. The breafast buffet was good, however on our last day we were told that due to low occupancy the buffet was not there, and we could order from a menu, which was OK. The pool is great.Very calm and quiet place.

There is little to complain, but the toilet wasnt working well, despite repteated requests, they could not fix it well. The other gripe was that there were no dental kits or some other amenities one usually expects of this level of hotels. OTherwise it was great

Very comfortable and classic Thai Colonial style Hotel. It has a grand feel and nice views of the river. Pool is beautiful. Breakfast is quite good. Location is a little bit out of town so it's fair distance to restaurants, etc.

The hotel and the grounds are very impressive with colonial type rooms with generous room sizes. The grounds are spacious and amazing views on the riverbank

The property is run by a agency as we found out, which has resulted in the limited number of staff working flat out to deal with such a huge hotel complex!The restaurants are mostly closed with limited opening hours and breakfast busy with little choice.

Beautiful colonially style Hotel with a really relaxing atmosphere. We felt like King and Queen staying at this resort. The staff was well attendant and polite. Large room and fantastic view over the resort and the very great swimming pool

There was nothing we did not like!

the water in the pool is not quite clear. Need more chlorine maybe. the breakfast is ok. the room is huge, but the floor is slippery maybe because of floor wax

Value for money, spacious room , A bit old but very clean and well maintained.

Nothing to complain about

The room is good. Complete all we need (some look older, but usable).

We request them to prepare room for our celebration and they prepare very well.
