Good breakfast on request. I had a "comfort bungalow", which looked directly onto an arm of the Kwai - a bit marshy and swampy but good place to sit and watch birds (and pythons). Convenient to the tourist strip.

Room a little small. Most rooms don't have a direct view of the water.

Everything was excellent, from the location, the innate charm of the place to the very helpful staff. We simply loved our stay here and highly recommend.

We stayed in a pleasant wooden bungalow on the river. The room was a decent size, clean, and comfortable, and the balcony at the back was almost always in the shade which made it a pleasant place to sit even in the heat of the day. Unfortunately, loud noise from the river was a significant downpoint, but it was fine most days, except Saturday night.

It was a very quaint wooden shack over the river, quiet and pretty surroundings.

The rooms were very basic, no bedside tables, or any surface to put things on, ie when trying to charge your phones, the facilities were not available because of the lack of customers, ie food,and drinks. There was supposed to be breakfast but when we went up to the restaurant area at 0830 hrs there was no one to be found.

Nice set up on a quiet part of the Kwai. Comfortable cabin, plenty of restaurants/bars/motorcycle rentals nearby. Moon and staff are wonderful.

Exceptionally clean room in a quiet and convenient location. It was nice to have a fridge. Pretty good warm shower.

Great location, easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and attractions. Friendly, helpful staff, especially Moon. Prior to my arrival, I needed to adjust my booking. Moon efficiently did this for me.

The location is great. The bungalow over the water are very cool looking from the outside. I was given a different kind of cabina that was near the front near the place people eat breakfast and park. It was nice quality, but in the morning I could definitely hear all the activity going on outside, so not optimal if you didn't want to be an early bird. Staff at the desk also seemed worn out and it wasn't the most pleasant interaction. Still, I can see why it is a popular stay and it's a nice place.

Noise - the manager loves to shout-talk non stop from early morning. My bungalow was opposite the restaurant / reception!Got woken up many times & slept poory! Had 2 staff members cleaning room next to mine - one of them shout-talking at the other cleaning room. I asked politely to be quiet - 7am! At 7:30am 2 staff members shout-talking outside roomHad a dog outside my door twice 5am barking like crazyAlso noise of vehicles, especially motorbikes traveling across bridge throughout the nightI had to move rooms for ladt 2 of 4 nights which helped a little

Amazing property and lovely balcony area in the bungalow. Beds were uncomfortable which was the only let down. Great location

No longer has bath just a basic shower room, no tv or kettle as in photographs just a bed fridge and aircon room

Location was just right, bars and restaurants just outside. Right on the river lots of wildlife.

Staff very friendly & helpful, booking taxis, trips & giving info. Nice room with outside area with table & chairs to sit at. Breakfast cooked to order. My friend was ill & they immediately supplied extra blanket as she was shivering. Easy access to local restaurants & death railway museum/cemetery. Right on edge of river - a lovely setting.

No kettle. Bathroom a little tired but given budget price it's a small thing. Room tight on space for 2 people with cases for more than 1 night. We had twin room.

Really lovely place, great little cabin. Lovely staff, nice breakfast. Tranquility on the river nature all around. Little street outside with bars restaurants massage shops street food taxis laundry all very convenient. A brilliant stay I would recommend it to anyone and would stay again.

Not the accommodations fault but there was a boat or club playing ridiculously loud music Friday and Saturday night I mean thumping base thank goodness not past midnight.

Good location between river kway Bridge, railway station and cemetery. Everything you need around. Nicely situated on stilts on the water, peaceful, relaxed, lovely bamboo huts. I would come again.

Staff is friendly but never in reach. If there is, they mostly don't speak English.

The view was nice, even we didn't much use it because we only where there to sleep and the whole day on trips. Staff was nice.

The only minus point was the noise in the evening across the river there was music. But I think all the resorts and hotels on the riverside would have the same issue.

You can't beat the location. My bungalow was literally over the river . So peaceful and beautiful. They ordered us up a boat and it docked right in front of my room and we had a great multi hour tour up and down the river. The way to really see Kanchanaburi is from the river. It's really beautiful. I highly recommend this place and boat riding on the river. Good neighborhood around as well, lots of good places to eat, drink ,shop, and get massages. I have stayed here twice now and will come again. The room is comfy and has a remodeled bathroom. It's a little log cabin. Staff is great and speak great English.

I'm old and there are a lot of stairs to go down to the rooms. If you have mobility issues you can't go to the river rooms.They do have other rooms up top that are accessible. I can still get up and down the stairs for now. For me Kanchanaburi is all about sleeping right on the river. Didn't even need to turn on the AC to sleep in January.
